i love waking up early but going to bed early??? is there no joy in this world??? must i be denied even the simplest of pleasures????

#honestly in an ideal world i wake up at 4am fuck around for 2 hours workout second-breakfast then office hours #unfortunately that means i have to go to bed at 6pm and thats insane behaviour even if i didnt finish work at 6 #we should have evolved out of needing so much sleep its really lame. except when its awesome #not to mention i have absolutely no energy living like this which is also so fucking sucks #like i want to DO stuff after work i want to read and paint and embroider #instead im so fucking tired i just die #anyway its fine ill adjust i just have to fahking soldier through. i think this week might be a washout though :/

#im posting this very late because i was sort of weary of how it came out and ended up messing w it until it was like 4am oops.#and i have plans tmrw so... oh well! i did my best and ill put it out while i can!#and i tried to make the scene match barnard's colors lol #finn's ocs #finn's art #i know i said id do more sillay stuff with the simpler screentone only style but i had a couple more of these in me #and this is the first piece im making thats like an actual part of the story too rather than just setting stuff for fun #i wanna write something to go with it too but for now ill just sort of briefly explain the context in the tags here:#barnard has a pretty bad case of OCD and his compulsions have made it difficult to make friends in the past #he was never outright bullied or anything but people just didnt really have the patience to deal with it #he has compulsions that include stuff like walking through doors until it feels right and needing things to be perfectly aligned #which in group settings has lead to people having to wait for him to finish his rituals and join them #they might find it tolerable at first but eventually they grow impatient and hes just... not invited to stuff anymore #but juno is a newer member of the guild who ends up frequenting the same library. hes also kinda a little weird #and they dont become fast friends or anything but just sort of naturally spend time in the same place #though they never plan meetups they eventually fall into a routine. around the same time theyd just both be at the library #and read next to each other. and maybe talk a bit. and eventually they end up walking back to the guildhall together #since theyre going to the same place after all. and juno always waits for barnard outside the door #eventually barnard asks if this bothers him. juno kinda just tells him 'of course it does' without any malice or anything. just a statement #barnard is surprised and apologizes and juno says not to. but the next day juno doesnt show up at the usual time.#barnard assumes hes committed somekinda more by bringing it up. he ends up staying there late reading to get his mind off it & not ruminate #but when he leaves juno is in fact still waiting for him down the hall (see pic) having collected a bunch of books literally abt ocd #he fell asleep bc barnard stayed later than expected. and hes an eepy guy generally. and also one very bad at expressing himself #but now barnard gets that juno's 'of course it [bothers me]' had the implication of 'but its worth it' which no friend has previously done.#and from the interaction juno was also able to understand that this isn't something barnard just does for the hell of it so. he studies.#and checks a bunch of stuff out because he thinks it could help his friend too (theres ocd workbooks and such- i remember working w them)#and thats the point where they became more ''friends'' than ''pleasant library acquaintances''#from there on they also do get into juno's problems. whole other bag of worms. but this specific scene is more about bernard from his pov #sorry about when i said briefly explain. i lied </3 #but compared to the whole sequence im picturing its brief so shhh

The argument for guilty/unforgiven Amane is not just to prevent her from hurting Shidou.

Sorry (⁠｡⁠•́⁠︿⁠•̀⁠｡⁠) I really don't intend to change your vote or anything, but it's been stressing me out that some people seem to believe that's it with our argument.

Amane has "warned" Mahiru, which to me reads like a threat. Even if she couldn't actually kill Shidou, Mahiru here who is an easy target, who can't move properly, could easily be hurt or killed by her.

And on the other hand Amane doesn't have to kill Shidou, she just has to hurt him, and that could honestly be easy with a surprise and quick attack. She could incapacitate him and prevent him from giving health care to others. And this is important because Haruka is gonna try to kill himself, and he's gonna need urgent care afterwards.

And I've got a feeling some way or another we are gonna get some more people harmed in between t2 and t3.

So yeah we care about Shidou, but we care more about him being the only doctor and what that means to the others. That's why I posted this whole trial feeling like the trolley problem lol.

(there is also the argument that worries me the most that is Amane trying to convert Fuuta, but that's another post that someone else already made)

I love Amane and I honestly don't see her killing her abuser as something wrong, but she sees her murder as something supported by the cult. So I believe neither verdicts will be good for her, I feel since she got voted guilty on t1 she was doomed. But either way whether she ends up forgiven or unforgiven, I'll still be excited to see what happens next. I just don't like people missinterpreting our arguments.

So whether you are an inno or a guilty voter, don't forget to vote <3 and hope you all have a good day

today sucked the life out of me ya Allah

#nothing particularly happened #well actually multiple things happened but none of them are that big of a deal im just tired #yesterday the ppt file for my presentation corrupted as i was finishing it :') didn't have autosave on :'))#had to redo the entire thing from scratch. i was working on it all week too for god's sake #finished by like 4am today and i had to be up by 8 for uni so i barely slept #the presentation was fine i think given i had to do everything again last minute but ik the original version was better #my blood pressure was through the roof the entire day for some reason. felt my pulse in my head for the whole day #fitting because our pbl case this week was about hypertension😭#called my dad to make sure he went to get his meds renewed...#i'm really worried about him he refused to go to the doctor again aslan but i sat him down and we had a long talk about it #alhamdulillah he agreed to go. only for them not to have his diabetes meds in stock💀 bas ya3ni it's good that he went anyway #my mom is a different story she's so stubborn i swear #had an argument with her today about letting me work again to lift a bit of the workload off her since money is still so tight #and she got pissed at me #so now im tired unrested have a migraine and my mom is mad at me what a day bgad #ya Allah

It's 4am and I cannot go to sleep because I have half an hour left in my book, and it's a murder mystery, and I need answers

#its so good #its called fifty feet down by sophie tanen #its about a lesbian reporter investigating the murders of teenage boys in a small town #it reminds me of the town i grew up in #its so cool and suspenseful and ive been hooked since the beginning #like ive been reading 50-100 pages a day because i desperately want to finish #and now its 4am and im so tired but i need answers!!#i cant wait to add this to my book blanket #i have so many rowd now and it looks so cool #i chose black for the horror genre but i just had a horror kick and read four horror books #so it goes navy for a few rows and purple for a couple rows and then just a huge chunk of black #i cant choose between gray and dark green for mystery #on one hand. gray really reminds me of the book. on the other hand ill probs read a decent amount of mystery #and i want my blanket to be full of cool colors #idk ill figure it out later. im currently unraveling an old blanket to get the yarn for this blanket and tomorrow im getting a yarn spinner #so thats gonna help me so much! i tried to learn how to make yarn cakes by hand but that is too difficult #especially with huge skeins of super bulky yarn #this post went off the rails a little bit #anyway should i read until 4:30 or go to bed? im gonna read #goodnight!!
