Tech- Princess
Request: hello darling, i saw you were taking requests (it’s okay if you aren’t anymore, just disregard the rest of this) and I was wondering if you’d be able to write something for Tech? I’m absolutely starving for content surrounding him and I’d take literally any crumb you’d be willing to spare🥺 prompt/genre is totally up to you! @bandaid-bunny
Pairings: Tech x Fem!Reader
Warnings: small mention of death (very very minor, like a sentence)
Summary: you left the Jedi Order a year ago, which meant also leaving the Bad Batch. Tech’s feelings for you never faded, and neither did yours for him.
Notes: I really want to write a part 2 to this!! Please lmk if y’all would want a second part!!
Tech adjusted his tie for the fifth time, looking at himself in the reflection of the silver elevator. He licked his hand, smoothing back any stray hairs on top of his head.
“Nervous much?” Hunter muttered next to his brother.
Tech shook his head, “of course not. Why would I be?”
“Because this is the first time you’re seeing her in a whole year.” Crosshair replied, a smug smile on his face as he crossed his hands over his lap.
“And why would that make me nervous?” Tech scoffed, rolling his eyes and straightening the cuffs of his suit. The collar of his dress shirt felt increasingly tight and he pulled on, further giving his brother more of a reason to tease him.
“Last time you saw her you couldn’t talk right!” Wrecker slapped him on the back, making Tech choke on his own spit.
“That-”, cough, “is-”, another cough, “not true.” He finally caught his breath and repeated his sentence a little clearer. “That isn’t true.”
“Really?” Crosshair raised an eyebrow and turned to Hunter, who was giving Tech the same look.
Sarg intertwined his fingers, bringing his fist to the side of his face and making his voice a few octaves higher to mock Tech, “You look especially beautiful in the night time, it hides all of your imperfections. No- it highlights your imperfections. No- you have no imperfections in the night time. No- you’re perfect”
Tech crossed his arms, his cheeks glowing a shade of bright red as Hunter reenacted the scene from a year ago.
“We’re here for a surveillance operation, that’s all.” he swallowed the ball in his throat, “I might not even get the opportunity to speak with her, so I have no reason to be nervous.”
The quiet ding of the elevator reaching the top floor was his saving grace. Tech was the first one off and he automatically began to scan the crowded room for any sign of you. As Wrecker walked behind his brother he whispered, “surveillance operation.” He nodded and followed the rest of the Bad Batch, eyes still searching for any sign of you.
“Sarg, good to see you.” said Cody’s strong tone of voice, catching Tech’s attention again.
“Same to you, Commander.” Hunter replied, giving the 212th trooper a strong handshake. Cody pointed out that the Bad Batch and 212th were allowed to have fun that night, and that they were only to interfere with anything if it was a threat to the princess’s life. He pointed to the other troopers that had accompanied him that night. The majority of the 212th attack battalion dotted the ball room.
There was no sign of you after roughly twenty minutes, allowing Tech to ease up a little bit. Crosshair returned from the bar, standing next to his brother and handing him a medium sized glass with a small amount of black liquid. Although he wasn’t much of a drinker, Tech downed the shot within seconds of having it in his grasp.
***
“Nervous much?” Padme asked, watching from the corner of your room as you adjusted the front of your corset for the fifth time.
You ignored her snarky comment, continuing to speak your thoughts out loud, “Out of all the squadrons he could have asked, of course he chooses 99.”
“You’re going to smudge your makeup if you keep pacing and sweating like that.” she replied, walking to your side. “And, who knows? Maybe he’s not here.”
“Hunt- The Sergeant, doesn’t go anywhere without him. He’s here.” you answered, taking a loud breath in to calm yourself. “It’s been at least a year. Last time I saw him I was allowed to go on missions and hold a weapon that’s bigger than my palm.”
You reached behind yourself and started to undo the corset, “Now I need to go and sit in meetings, sit like a lady, smile and nod, and be pretty. That’s all… Could you re-tie this for me? The seamstress made it so I couldn’t breathe.” You motioned to the strings of the corset.
“How about you wear that blue dress, you liked that one.” Padme suggested, trying her best to get you into a better mood.
You sighed, “alright.”
As you walked back to your closet, Padme spoke behind you, “if you look on the bright side, attachments are no longer forbidden for you.”
It genuinely made both of you laugh, lifting your spirits a little as you unhooked the blue dress from its hanger. “maybe embrace that he’s here. You no longer need to follow the code, make the best of it.”
She was right, the Jedi code no longer applied to you.
About a year ago, when your sister had passed, it left you to take the throne of Alderaan as Princess. Your father, Bail Organa, was a senator and your mother, Breha Organa, was Queen. Someone needed to help her govern the planet, which led to you leaving the Jedi order and fulfill your duties as the only living legacy of your parents.
It was a difficult decision to make, and tonight would lock it in. The majority of Senators were here, including a few other monarchs. Last time you had seen the bulk of them you were still a Jedi Knight, now you were Princess of Alderaan.
This party was risky to throw, but it had already been postponed many times before. There was a small window to celebrate the new princess, which is no-doubt why the Bad Batch was called in. Majority of the troopers were on missions, and if the party was to be short on guards then it needed the strongest battalion available, Clone Force 99.
It was already twenty minutes into the celebration, and you had five minutes prepare to see them again. Last time you five were together it was a special operations mission, you were a Jedi and they were your designated clone battalion. Now you were tasked with pretending to be someone else, a princess.
You tugged your dress on and allowed Padme to lace the back up, it was time.
***
A loud sound of trumpets echoed through the room, quickly drawing everyone’s attention. The lights dimmed everywhere except the grand balcony with a staircase leading down to the main floor.
Tech followed the voice of the announcer, who seemed to be invisible among the huge crowd. “It is with great pleasure that I welcome the Queen and the new Princess of Alderaan.” he said obstreperously.
Queen Breha walked with grace down the steps, waving as she descended.
Next came the princess, her gold-accented, sleek, pastel blue dress shining in the light beautiful. Tech’s heart raced as he saw you, his glass slipping from his grip. He had nearly forgotten how beautiful you were, and the way you quickly walked down each stair nearly made him faint. The expensive glassware would have broken if it weren’t for Hunter’s quick reflexes.
The only other time he had witnessed the sight of you in a dress was during an undercover op, other than that you were frequently in your robes. Maker, you were breathtaking in that gown. He was going mad and you were still across the room.
You turned over your shoulder, automatically scanning the crowd for any signs of the Bad Batch. It seemed that every free moment you had was interrupted by a Senator or distant relative congratulating you on your new status. So, you smiled and made small talk, a tiny headache beginning to creep up on you.
As you thanked Senator Clovis for coming, a strong hand touched the small of your back. “Need a break?” Hunter asked behind you.
In that moment you could have cried at the sound of his voice. You were so overwhelmed and tired, wanting to collapse every time you needed to start a new conversation with someone. As you turned, you straightened your back, “Sergeant.” You gave him a curt nod, “Thank you for coming on such short notice.”
Hunter raised his eyebrow, waiting a moment before hooking his arm within your own. “Since when do you call me Sergeant?” he mused, beginning to lead you over to the edge of the ballroom.
You were well out of earshot of anyone important now, and your whole demeanor changed. You let out a breath of air and slouched, letting your legs rest a shoulder-width apart. “You have no clue how happy I am to see you.”
“Right back at you Command- Princess.” he said, letting go of your arm.
“Don’t call me that, for maker’s sake.” you pleaded, your tone genuinely sad.
He smirked, “not your thing, huh?”
You shook your head, “where’s the rest of the boys?”
“Wrecker spilled that Corellian wine on his shirt, Tech and Cross are helping him get cleaned off.” he responded with a shrug, as if it was a regular thing; on that thought, it was.
Your heart fluttered, “Tech’s here?”
Hunter chuckled deeply, combing his hair back, “he is. Why?”
You pursed your lips while narrowing your eyes, “just curious.”
Before Sarg could tease you any further, the large gold door to the men’s bathroom opened and the other three Bad Batchers stumbled back inside the room. You instinctively looked over your shoulder, your gaze catching Tech’s.
You both froze, trapped in each other's presence. He smiled, eyes sparkling in the faint light of the ballroom.
The group of three made their way to Hunter and you, Wrecker with a huge grin on his face.
Crosshair performed a dramatic bow, “m’lady.” he slid his hands into his pockets, a smug smirk on his face as he greeted you.
“I hate you,” You teased, shaking your head the smallest bit to show you disapproval.
“Hi Princess.” Wrecker didn’t hesitate to pull you into a tight hug, but he soon let go once realizing that he was possibly transferring the wine stain onto your dress.
Tech wrapped his arms around your waist and whispered, “you look nice.”
You rested your chin on his shoulder, “back at you.”
Crosshair interjected, “you got something on your dress.” he twirled his long finger towards your abdomen.
Wrecker had accidentally transferred some wine on your gown. You frowned, knowing that you now had to change dresses. “Kriff,” you mumbled, secretly slightly relieved that you got to leave for a few minutes, “I’ll be back. If anyone asks, just say I’m touching up my makeup.”
As you took a step forward, Padme’s words seemed to echo in your mind. Maybe embrace that he’s here. You no longer need to follow the code, make the best of it.
You smiled, “Tech would you mind coming along? I’m not supposed to leave the room without another person.”
He looked slightly surprised at your offer, but after tripping over a few words he nodded and followed.
Tech took a deep breath once you two were alone, clenching and relaxing his fists to ease a bit of his nerves, “I missed you, we all did. Missions aren’t as fun without you.”
You grinned, “I missed you too. Everything goes by slower nowadays.”
“You don’t enjoy your new life?” He asked, eyebrows creasing to form a concerned expression. He looked around at all the gold accented treasures hidden among the castle.
“There’s no excitement. Every day is just a repeat of the last.” The elevator doors opened and you both stepped inside.
They slid shut, officially making it just the two of you. “Do you miss the Order?”
You shook your head, “Not as much as I thought I would, but I miss the adventures. I miss you.” you said the last piece quietly, hoping he didn’t hear.
But since it was Tech, and he was the most attentive person you knew, he heard. He turned to look at you, making deep eye contact, “I miss you too. Co-piloting with Crosshair isn’t as fun as it was with you. I’m not as good at calming Wrecker down as you were.”
You arrived at your floor, the doors opening again and both of you walking out. There was an awkward silence surrounding the two of you now, both wanting to say the same thing.
As you stepped foot in your room, the energy shifted a little. You motioned for Tech to make himself comfortable and made your way to the closet.
He sat at the foot of your huge bed, admiring how well-decorated it was. He turned to look at the wall his back faced, eyes wandering to your nightstand. In the middle stood a framed photograph. It was a picture that Wrecker had taken after a rough mission. You and Tech were both asleep, your head on his lap and his hand draped over your waist. He sighed and called out to you, “You know I’ve always loved you, right?”
You froze, barely finishing at pulling the peach-colored dress over your head when his voice reached your ears. By the time you had turned around, Tech was standing in the doorway of your closet.
No more Jedi Code.
You walked to him, placing a gentle hand against his cheek and kissing him. He grabbed your hand and held it, leaning forward to deepen the kiss. He had waited too long for this to end quickly, and you felt the same.

As a Team (III)
Brothers-AU  Ao3
Part I/II, Part IV
"I like it when the reg's are angry.", Wrecker grinned and left his place as copilot. Ahsoka raised an eyebrow and ground her teeth, the sound earning a slight twitch from Hunter from the corner of her eye. So realized what Jesse had meant hours ago. The attitude that those few words already conveyed pissed her off. "Reg? Good to know.”, she muttered and went back to her pockets. Sighing, she went down on her knees and opened the backpack, it was crammed to the brim with everything she could get from a medic. Burnes must have taken his job seriously, very well. She pushed her way down past the bandages and plasters. Warming blankets, which she had already got to know years ago, were stuck next to some hypnos. She took one out and scanned the label. Some pain relievers and medication in case of shock. Not that she could take any of this! As soon as she had thought through the thought to the end, she spotted a bundle of a few tablets and colored Hypnos tied together at the bottom. Damn it, she owed her medics something now! “Don't take it personally. We don't work with regular clones on a daily basis.", Hunter said next to her and watched as the Jedi put the medical equipment back properly. Then she turned to the other, smaller, bag. “It doesn't matter. I'm afraid of my brothers when they're angry, maybe you should be too?”, she tried to chat lightly, that everyone in the ship was watching her and also had the nerve to want to judge her brothers, pressed her on the mood. There was a big knot in her stomach and she didn't like the way it contracted every now and then.
In the second pocket she found a clean robe, a few rations, and water bottles. She could kiss the boys! If it continued like this, she would soon not have to think about anything at all. But when she pulled the robe out to throw it on, something fell from the folded fabric to the floor. Before she fully understood what it was, Wrecker had already reached for it curiously and Crosshair let out a breath that was reminiscent of a low whistle. Both looked at Ahsoka's old headdress and Wrecker turned it a little. "Wrecker...", Hunter warned and Asoka smiled, he sounded a bit like Rex when she had done something stupid again. Wrecker responded and handed the jewelry back to her, teeth clattering softly against each other. "Scared huh?", smiled Hunter and with a little roll of her eyes Ahsoka stuffed his teeth back into her pocket with the other things. The thought was very sweet and the trophy might earn her respect from Force 99, but she really liked her current clone jewelry. Whenever she saw her reflection in a helmet or mirror, it reminded her where she belonged. With her robe in hand she picked herself up again and threw on the thick, brown fabric. Immediately it enveloped her like a warm hug. "Now she looks like a Jedi!", commented Wrecker, drawing another smile and roll of her eyes from her. When it wasn't about other clones, these men had the potential to be fun people. "Thank you.", she replied, irony loud and clear in her voice. "Sorry, he just doesn't have a mental filter.", Tech announced from the front and this time she had to grin, the flight would be interesting.
Sighing, she made herself comfortable on the floor next to her bag and stretched out her legs. This would be the perfect flight to meditate a little. However, she had only enjoyed it to a limited extent before and did not believe that it would get rid of the uncomfortable tingling sensation under her skin now. Nevertheless, there was silence for a while and Ahsoka closed her eyes for a few seconds. Then she noticed that this wasn't like any of the other flights at all. Nobody sat there and complained, nobody had bent over a datapad to write reports. Kriff, her reports from the past few days! She should have taken her datapad... Even if only to plan the next few hours! Maybe... With a little grunt she got up again, the irritated looks from Wrecker and Crosshair followed her on the way forward. Tech had put the ship on autopilot and seemed to be tinkering with something, she wasn't even going to try to understand what it was! Anakin had taught her a lot, but not that much either. Everything beyond doors, normal droids and small spaceships was out of her league. At least most of the time. "Tech, right?", she asked softly and leaned against the pilot's seat from behind, the clone nodded tightly and precisely. "Do you have a datapad for me?" Sighing, Tech laid his tangle of cables away and bent to one side, datapad in hand he reappeared. When he handed it to her, he eyed her curiously. "What are you going to do with it?", he asked a little suspiciously and Ahsoka had to smile. “I just want to play through my plans a little. Or is there something on it that I am not supposed to find?”, she teased and Wrecker gave a violent snort behind her. Tech continued to stare at her, then shrugged and turned back to his work. Well, then that was settled. With her slender fingers, she switched on the pad and decided, with the luck of her own, to search Tech's collection of data for her target. She found little, but it was better than nothing!
"You just didn't seem like someone who's planning long beforehand.", Hunter remarked as the Jedi sat back down on the floor. She shrugged her shoulders. “My brother had priority, I would go in there blind if I had to. And I think that getting in won't be the big problem...", she mumbled and looked at the few dates and plans in front of her. "But out will be?", Crosshair growled and Ahsoka looked up, he looked at her with a chilled look and when she got goose bumps on the back of her neck under her lekku, she gave him a challenging grin. "Scared?", she grinned broadly and showed her sharp fangs, Crosshair rolled his eyes and turned back to his weapon. Wrecker was still giggling to himself and even Hunter smiled next to her. “But so much effort for a reg? One soldier out of thousands, I just would like to point out.", Tech suddenly called from the front, he turned around a little in the chair and could watch how Ahsoka screwed up her eyes and suppressed a rumble deep in her chest.
Hell, she had a really bad grip on her emotions today! She swallowed the growl and took a deep breath, her heart beating hollow and loud in her chest. "Would you just leave one of those here?", she asked and pointed with a palm around, Tech shrugged his shoulders a little incomprehensibly and Wrecker cocked his head helplessly. However, Hunter's expression when she looked at him had tightened. He stood beside her, tense, leaning against the wall. “I don't know if I can follow completely. You are a Jedi, you have the whole Order behind you, right?", he said softly and Ahsoka almost escaped an amused snort. “My brothers never left my side, without them I wouldn't even have survived the first year. If I have a tiny chance of doing the same for Echo then I'll do it.”, she explained, and as she stared at Hunter, an unexpected lump formed in her throat. "I have to take care of them, all of them.", she pressed out and averted her gaze ashamed, tears tingling in her eyes. Damn it, she hadn't talked about Echo and his 'death' in a long time and she hadn't suspected how much it was still hurting her. The very idea that she might just have left for nothing came with such a headache that she stifled the idea in the bud. "I understand. You will get him back.”, Hunter suddenly mumbled and patted her shoulder hard and sure.
The rest of the flight was quiet, Ahsoka didn't ask why Hunter didn't wrote any reports. She kept her thoughts to herself. Even then, when she almost had to wrestle with Wrecker over one of her rations. But the loud laugh of the massive clone made her grin too. Crosshair still didn't seem to like her much when they started to approach the planet. He stubbornly avoided her gaze. Hunter, on the other hand, seemed to be getting used to her presence, and since the conversation he had made suggestions about her plans from time to time and discussed possible enemies with her. Thanks to him, she now felt as prepared as she could be. Still, she was nervous and restless when she looked out the window and watched the storm outside. "Tech, can you get the signal from here-" A rum interrupted her and they held their breaths for two seconds, then a large head appeared in their field of vision. "What is that?", Wrecker grumbled. “A conspecific simple lizard. The locals worship these creatures because-” “Enough.”, Hunter interrupted Tech, drawing his gun. "Just get it off my ship." "Wait, maybe we should think first and then...", sighing, Ahsoka let the sentence end and ran after the clones into the open, it was no use anyway. Outside the sand pricked her eyes and her bared arms, damn it, she had left the robe inside! At least she was already wearing her backpack. She hastily drew out her lightsabers and got a quick overview. On the ship sat the, truly not pretty, lizard and growled at her with bared teeth. The clones had already opened fire when the back of her head began to tingle violently. Like Rex gave her a brotherly pat. She trusted that feeling. "Get down!", she barked and actually the others followed, just above them another flying reptile shot away and missed the Jedi by a hair's breadth. Ahsoka was immediately on her feet again, her gaze followed the attacker and his rider. If they didn't have to fight these locals, they'd be not stuck here! Maybe... "Wrecker, stand still!", she instructed harshly, the big clone looked at her with noticeable irritation. Right then her window opened. The attacker came down again, the claws already open. With one jump Ahsoka stood on Wrecker's shoulders, with another she landed on the flying reptile and snatched the reins from the rider.
It was impressive how well the animal knew the way home. No sooner had Ahsoka relaxed the reins than it changed direction. Behind her she heard the ship start again and follow them, with a triumphant grin she glanced over her shoulder at the clones.
The flight did not last long, with short and powerful wingbeats the mount landed and Ahsoka swung down. With cries of surprise, the locals backed away from her and cocked their heads. With a grin, Ahsoka patted the reptile next to her briefly and then looked around, the clones were just about to land at the top of the basin in which the village was located. Sliding, they came down to her. "You could have warned us!" Hunter complained a few meters before he reached her and Ahsoka grinned at him. Then she turned to Tech, she wanted to get this done quickly. It wasn't sure if the Techno Union knew of their discovery and if they did, would they kill Echo? Dispose him? "You can translate, can't you?", she asked and Tech jerked his head. “What do you think I am? A protocol droid?", he muttered, but still seemed to get the right program on his glasses. “I want you to tell them about my brother. I will tell you everything you need to know and translate."
Ha, the line of pity had probably pulled! "They provide us with two scouts, they will show us the way to the city and then return home." Ahsoka nodded in agreement, that was a good deal. “Okay, that will do. The main thing is that we get to this damn city faster."
The walk was shorter than expected. After about an hour of brisk walk, they stood on a small ledge and looked at the town in the distance. “Why do you build so high up here? There's nothing to see anyway.", Ahsoka mumbled and shook her head, somehow they would get in there. "I won’t wait for you this time, if you complain again.", Tech grumbled from behind her and astonished Ahsoka looked around at the others. "Wrecker is afraid of heights?", she asked and Wrecker shrugged his shoulders protectively. "No! I only have a problem with... gravity.", he grumbled and the hunched shoulders, the snapped apology, the hunched head. All of this reminded Ahsoka so much of all the younglings in the temple and the clones when they first realized that they were afraid. She couldn't help it, in her head Wrecker snapped like another piece of the puzzle into the picture of her family and a gentle smile tugged at the corner of her mouth. "It's okay, I'll try to find an non-seethrough elevator.", she assured him jokingly and then got up. "We should go while the sandstorm can still cover us.", she urged the others to hurry and trotted ahead.
As soon as they had left the slipstream, Ahsoka had to pull the collar of her tunic up over her mouth and nose. The fine grains burned in her eyes, even when squeezed tightly together, it was hard to see anything. Sighing, she closed them. Back to her traditional training then. With a few deep breaths, she forced herself to calm down and let her mind explore the area in waves. Suddenly she realized how much life was hidden in this barren landscape. The little lights of the Techno Union were easy to see, they glowed cold and empty in front of her. But there was something else, it was practically magical. Even if it could hardly be described as alive, she knew that there was her goal. Half blind, she grabbed the wrist of the next clone behind her and dragged him behind her, the wrist too narrow to be Wreckers. Only when they were back in the shadow of the city and the wind eased a little did Ahsoka look up, open her eyes and look around. All the clones were hot on her heels, she had caught Tech and released his wrist from her grip. Then she looked around, there had to be an elevator somewhere! "Over there.", Tech nodded and was already trotting towards one of the pillars of the city, in fact it was adorned with a thickly armored door and a control panel. The group hurried after Tech with crouched heads and, grumbling, Ahsoka sought shelter from the wind behind the thick pillar. If the Techno Union thought they could keep a Jedi away with these weather conditions, then they had clearly underestimated the determination of such a person! She rubbed her bare arms with her rough fingers, the skin felt sore. As if they had been sandblasted. Terrible clothes for this planet, definitely. In addition, it was only half as warm as she had expected, the constant wind made her shiver. Had they flown in Echo and spared him that sand? What agony he had to suffer while she was moaning about such little things... "Are you done?", Hunter growled and Tech snorted, then the door slid open. "Take a look inside.", instructed Hunter Crosshair and the sniper disappeared into the dimly lit room with his weapon raised. A few seconds later his head reappeared. "Yes, thats a lift.", he commented dryly and Ahsoka grinned broadly, it actually earned her an amused shrug from the clone. Hey, he didn't hate her! Maybe this friendship wasn't lost yet? Still grinning, she pushed herself into the elevator, Wrecker hesitated. "Everything is fine Wrecker, I'll hold your hand too.", Hunter teased next to her and the massive clone snorted before squeezing into the narrow space and the doors closing.
As soon as the elevator began to move with a jerk, the grin disappeared from her face. Now the highest concentration was required, Echo's life perhaps depended on it! "Quick in and out, okay? We won't be able to hide our presence, but if we eliminate their droids quickly, they will take a while to regroup. ”Ahsoka explained to the small unit hastily and Wrecker thrust her on the shoulder enthusiastically. "I can do that!" Crosshair shook his head with a sigh, but still checked his weapon one last time. Then the doors suddenly opened and in a flash Ahsoka built herself up as a shield between the clones and droids. Wrecker didn't care, he ran past her with a loud roar and Ahsoka would lie if she said his strength hadn't impressed her a little. Hunter glided past her a little more elegantly and turned to the next opponent with less force but more precision. Tech and Crosshair rose behind her and fired over her shoulders. The shots so close to her ear hadn't frightened her for a long time now! The hangar they had arrived in was quickly emptied and when Ahsoka straightened up, Tech pulled out his datapad and switched it on. Crosshair, meanwhile, leaned forward a little and when he spoke, Ahsoka could hear his smile too. “You know, Jedi. I could get used to that.” “How nice that you like the sword and shield maneuver so much.”, she smiled back a little tense.
At first Tech tried to catch the signal from Echo again. With every passing second, Ahsoka's impatience grew. "They seem to be interfering with my signal, seem to be well prepared.", the clone cursed and Ahsoka sighed deeply, it would take them forever to find Echo. "Leave it be Tech, I'll take care of it.", she hastily interrupted another wave of curses and Tech sighed deeply and painfully, as if Ahsoka had just stolen what he loved. Anyway, there was no time for such thoughts! Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes and tried to open up to her surroundings. She had learned from Anakin to pursue goals with the force, so she should be able to find an echo from Echo in the force. Slowly she felt her way forward, away from the hangar in which they were standing and deeper into the city. She did not dare to linger with the members of the Techno Union. They weren't Force Sensitive, but who knows... Maybe they'd notice something after all? Only a tiny light, a weak spark, made her pause. It wasn't a uniform glow like the others, more like the flickering of a small candle flame. "That way!"

CHAPTER ONE.
JTRM — THE “R” STANDS FOR RECOVERING!
PREVIOUSLY.
I wasn’t going to write more so soon, but I got sick, and I can’t draw, so I wrote. [sobs] It’s time for sharing, arguing, and the start of something new! >:)
“Okay,” She breathed, exasperated. “let’s run through this… one more time.”
“Okay.” Johnny pursed his fingers together casually, like he wasn’t about to explain for the umpteenth time the hideous events that lead to his current state of being.
“Three years, three voices, two of which held allegiance to an unknown thing living in one of your basement walls.” Devi started.
“Yes.”
“And you were compelled to murder because… it fed off the blood of the victims. Which you painted on said wall.”
“Yes.”
“And then it all disappeared when you…. died.” She couldn’t believe it.
“—Or dreamed I died.” Johnny added. “Like I said, it all seemed like a crock of shit so it’s hard to tell.”
Devi let her face fall into her hands and rubbed her eyes tiredly. Letting Johnny tell his story was difficult to sit through, seeing as he loved to go off on half-relevant tangents, and speak in long, descriptive prose about his feelings on the matter. She still sort of liked the way he talked, but most of it turned into static while she tried to process exactly what kind of cesspool of a life Johnny had waded through for so long – and to a further extent – what kind of life she had avoided by nipping Sickness in the bud early.
“And after you woke up, all that was left was this new “Meat” thing?” She raised her eyes up enough to look at him from over her fingertips.
“Yeah.” Johnny leaned back against the armrest of her couch. “Like I said, sometimes I think I hear Nailbunny, but then I wonder if that’s just my actual conscience talking to me, and I just forgot what that’s like, what with all the, y’know, voices that are mine but aren’t mine, things.”
“Right.” She groaned into her palms. Devi dragged her hands down the front of her face, pulling her lower eyelids down a little as they went by, before clapping them together as her wrists settled on her knees. “’Kay.”
“So three down one to go doesn’t sound that bad, right?” She turned her attention to her guest again, and he shrugged with a half-smile, still all too calm about the situation.
“That’s how I’ve been looking at it.” He crossed a leg over his knee as he spoke, bouncing his foot idly. “I mean, I guess I never really “beat” the Doughboys, or the wall-thing, and I think Nailbunny just died or something, but at least Meat’s been pretty easy to ignore with the whole “turning myself into a feeling-numb husk” idea.”
Devi stared at him incredulously.
“WHAT?” He huffed. “Winning because all the other candidates died is still winning!!”
One of her hands came up to rub her eyes again.
“Jeezus Christ, Nny.” She mumbled, and got up to pace. She thought better when pacing. Johnny scowled, arms crossed, as he watched her walk around her living room.
“Y’KNOW, I get that I deserve some criticism here, but I’ve been doing this A LOT longer than you have, and even though you’re more efficient and self-empowered than I am, and you got control of your head-voicey-thing right away, I think I’ve earned some credit for surviving this long!!” He argued for the sake of his own ego. Devi turned to squint at him again.
“Having one of these parasites for that long is the opposite of an accomplishment, Nny.” She replied coldly. Johnny stood up to gesture his arms wildly as a display of his immense upset.
“OH, EXCUSE ME!” He yelled, glaring at her ceiling. “So SORR-REE that I didn’t realize I was being haunted by DEMONS until it was too late – sorry we can’t all realize that the voices that sound like us in our head aren’t us right away like SOME people can, like fucking side-of-the-road, carnie psychics!!”
Johnny started to cross the room to where she was, and Devi tensed immediately. She was too nervous to move, and decided to just stand her ground and give him a look that said, ‘just try and stab me, bastard’. Johnny only glowered when he got close to her, and brought up a finger to point at her accusingly.
“I didn’t come here to be belittled! I know I screwed up a lot of shit, immensely so, and I was just coming here to warn you – I shouldn’t have BOTHERED, seeing as you’re so much better than me in every way! You don’t even need to TELL me that, I know!”
Devi’s pupils narrowed at him gravely, but he was too worked up to regret the outburst.
“First – get your fucking finger out of my face.” She snapped out, and he half-heartedly dropped his hand. “And second, I don’t want to hear what little scraps you can piece together that makes this situation any less dismal than it is, Nny.”
Whether it was the steadiness of her voice, or the spooky aura she emitted, Johnny didn’t know, but his posture loosened enough that he didn’t feel he was on the verge of snapping at the seams anymore.
“This isn’t about who is better or who is worse, Johnny – the fact of it is, is you ARE worse.” She stepped toward him, and he stepped back. “And I just got through being in the crosshairs of whatever fucked up, ethereal bullshit controls these little shits – I am NOT about to be in the middle of it again! So if your little Meaty pal is trying to use me, I’m going to make sure he DIES.”
Devi stared at him until she saw the sharpness in his pupils soften, and she felt more in control of the room’s atmosphere again. She turned to walk toward her art room, and Johnny barely had time to tilt his head up to peak at what she was doing before she came back with a good-sized drawing pad.
“I only know one way of defiance with these things.” She said before throwing the tablet onto the table with a loud slap, startling Johnny enough to make him straighten up. Devi turned to him and pointed to the paper urgently. “Draw.”
“…What?” Johnny managed, confused at the sudden change in topic.
“DRAW!” She ordered him more directly this time. “Draw on the fucking paper, Nny! You’re going to draw until your fingers bleed – until you’ve regained so much of your creativity that you’re spitting out shitty comics on a daily basis!”
Johnny stared at her like she was yelling at him in another language.
“Wh—right now!?”
“YES, right now! Go on, draw something!”
“I can’t just draw on command like that! The mood has to strike me right! I have to have some kind of inspiration—GAK!” He tried to argue but was forced down by his shoulders into a sitting position in front of the coffee table.
“Your inspiration is I’m going to smother you if you don’t, how’s that?” Devi frowned down at him, then crossed her arms and looked off like she was waiting.
Johnny felt his cheeks heat up with annoyance, but took up a stray pen on the table and flipped open the pad to give his best attempt. At first he thought of doing a bad caricature of Devi saying rude things, but thought better of it, and stuck with what he was familiar with. After a moment of scribbling he lifted the tablet toward her, offering up a simple Happy Noodle Boy, in hopes that it would suffice her bizarre request. Devi glanced at it for only a few seconds before looking away again.
“Now do another.”
“But—wh-why!? Why should I even listen to you?” His brow creased, arms and legs crossed like a child. “You talk about being fed up with these things – I was a slave to them for YEARS! I’m not just going to take orders from you randomly!”
Devi looked down at him again and he flinched, until he saw her stare wasn’t particularly aggressive. She watched him a moment, then blinked tiredly as she shrugged away from him.
“I’m too tired for this right now.” She mumbled, half to Johnny and half to herself. “Come back tomorrow night, and we’ll do an actual drawing lesson, m’kay?”
Johnny kept his eyes on her while she ambled nearby aimlessly. He got up quickly, a small pout still hanging off of his lip, and tried to again confront her.
“Devi, don’t ignore what I said! Give me one reason I should follow what you say!”
She turned to look at him, and her demeanor again surprised him, but this time because of the calmness of it. She looked similar to how she was when she worked at the bookstore; tired, neutral, maybe a smile hiding under her lips, waiting for a reason to show. It made him nervous all over again.
“Nny,” She spoke tiredly, and took the drawing pad from his grasp, reviewing the little doodle he’d left on the page. “—don’t you want to get over this shit? Finally? Have it all really be done, and be able to draw like you used to?”
Johnny stared at her, almost longingly, before looking away to the floor. He did want that, very badly. Devi suspected as much.
“Come over, tomorrow night.” She told him again, then walked to the door to let him out. Johnny followed her dutifully. He raised his eyes up to her face again, and she met them without hesitation.
“6:00PM.” Devi added. Johnny didn’t affirm anything as he walked out, and only peered over his shoulder momentarily as she shut the door.
It was a very unexpected encounter, his reunion with her, and it certainly lasted longer than he thought it would… Still, it didn’t feel like a failure, either. Even with how pissed she was for most of it.
He took the elevator down, and walked somberly to where he’d left his car parked in a dumpy looking little parking lot that ran alongside a fast food place, a ways down the street. As he opened the driver’s side door and strapped his seatbelt, Reverend Meat’s voice piped up.
“So you scored a date then, did you?” He sounded rather smug, like a friend teasing another about a grade school crush. Johnny made a strangled sound, and heaved the little statuette out of his open door. It was a useless act of defiance, since Meat would just reappear again anyway, but it was satisfying all the same. As the worn wheels screeched away, Reverend Meat’s smile remained while he lay on his side on the asphalt.
“You can’t run, Johnny C. – not from us, and not from her.”

Alright my loves, I bring you the full plot drop for the Hollow Grove Blood Moon event. A few things to keep in mind:
You are welcome to continue your current threads.
New threads can take places prior to the drop or after, please just clarify. Feel free to start some threads in the aftermath of the chaos if you’d like.
The plot drops were written with just enough detail to give you something to work with so if it sparks an idea for you that you’d like to grow you are welcome to run with it. Feel free to message the main with anything major.
With so many amazing volunteers, I was not able to use everyone, however, I did make a point to make sure to include at least one of every player's characters.
The event still runs through Saturday so enjoy the chaos and drama.
The moon crosses the sky in a shade of blood, washing away the sins of monsters as the stars fall from the sky. It’s almost poetic how magical a magicless night could appear. It left the strongest among them weak with vulnerability. The founders' council sees the danger in this and under the ploy of a party gather’s the townspeople for the night.  Knowing they can better protect those they have sworn too if they can do it in a controlled environment.
And so the Masquerade Ball is organized, what appears to be a frivolous occasion is far more calculated than that and with every safeguard put into effect, they are certain they are ready to face whatever is thrown at them this night.
As the clave creeps across the towns vulnerable borders they soon encounter several roadblocks trying to enact their plans. When it becomes clear that attacking the ball may be harder than they had originally planned they are forced to turn their attention outwards, drawing those out from the safety of the ball and into danger.
It starts with a series of distractions.
The liquor flows, the tempers rise and it's to no one's surprise a fight or two breaks out. Anya Nikolaevna’s mouth seems to get her in trouble once more when she offends a rather drunk and awfully hotheaded stranger who quickly gets aggressive with her things take a turn. Cal Renard quickly steps in to defend her honor but the stranger's friends quickly jump in as well and before anyone really knows what’s happening a scuffle breaks out. Dora Lind tries to break it up and gets caught in the crosshairs, knocking into a table, breaking the glass that she falls into.  Poor Lilianna Hastings was an innocent bystander to the whole thing and in the madness of the fight, she was knocked over falling down a small set of stairs. Emmett Bryson and Chase Hastings quickly jumped in to help break up the fight, Chase agreeing to take his cousin to the hospital thinking her leg might possibly be broke.
After far too much to drink Julia Charles wanders out for some fresh air, as she gazed up at the night sky she strolls a bit too far from the ball and suddenly is snatched up and tossed into the back of a van. Not but ten minutes later Patto Bell comes outside looking for his friends Haylee and Dani. Unexpectedly he too is tossed into the same van as it speeds away from the ball.
Danielle Riley finds herself several drinks in as she stands staring absentmindedly out the window. For a moment she thinks she’s seeing something and then Patto comes into view and she finds herself knocking on the window trying to get his attention. Watching in horror as Patto is tossed into a van she becomes overwhelmed with panic. Kitty Mastrano comes across her and words are incoherent in her current state and she begs Kitty to get Haylee Forbes. When Haylee arrives Dani tells her what she saw and for a moment Haylee thinks maybe her friend has had too many but when she tries to reach Patto, she soon feels panic settling in when she can’t find him and he won’t answer her calls.  At this point, both girls are insisting that they go search for their friend and leave the ball to try and track him down.
Sparrow Rousseau and Ronnie Greer were certainly enjoying themselves on their night out with one another. Nothing goes as planned though does it? When they move away from the crowd so they can speak more intimately they are caught off guard by the smell of smoke. An absent-mindedly toss joint catches a curtain on fire and, unfortunately for the two love birds, it interrupts a rather romantic moment and quickly turns it into chaos and panic when the corner of Sparrow’s dress catches fire. Watching the sight Valentine Remington is caught by surprise mid-bite and begins to choke. It rapidly takes a bad turn and Val passes out. Seeing this Amber Horne quickly jumps and starts doing CPR to save his life. Val awakes to a fit of coughing. Meanwhile, the fire chaos continues Ezra Gillies wanting to help rushes over with a pitcher of water trying to put it out, only to start the arm of his jacket on fire. Teodor Sigurdsson and Tony Velasquez also felt the need to jump in. Teo pulled the table cloth from a nearby table while Tony grabbed the cap off someone woman and the two managed to snuff out the small fire becoming town heroes for the night.
A series of calls come about suspicious activity at various locations in town. Isla Rafferty gets a notification that the alarms at Hell’s Kitchen are going off. Kara Sykes agrees to go with her on her way out for her patrol. A call about activity at the border has Oliver Hastings volunteering to go and check things out. Cassie Cresswell volunteers to tag along when Oliver mentions he’s headed out, wanting to get away from the crowds and just enjoy the night.
Quietly and silently the Clave works their way through town, preying on those far from the safety of the balls security.
Taking leave from the ball in search for a cheeseburger, Dylan Wright, Ian Tyler, Teddy Beacon, and AJ Thorne head to the nearest diner. The young Hollow Grove residents appear to be having a good time, enjoying the good company they find themselves in. Dylan leaves the group to use the restroom and on her way back to the table encounters a rather shady looking fellow in the hallway. She could feel it in her bones that something was off but she kept her head down and made her way back to the table. But when she passed the kitchen, she saw the bodies of the two kitchen staff laying dead in a puddle of blood. Her mouth opened to scream but the sound was cut off when a hand covered her mouth. Kicking and screaming she was dragged out the back door. Out the window, Ian saw the scuffle and without a word jumped into action from his seat. AJ and Teddy grab him, stopping him before Ian can do something crazy and in a moment of desperation, the three plan to get their friend back. Scrambling out the back door AJ and Teddy are set off to create a distraction as the three Clave men are shoving Dylan into a van. Beating a bottle against the garbage cans they create noise that draws two of the clave members away and divides the third’s attention, shifting it elsewhere as Ian slips out the front door. The third man wanders towards the noise, following his two friends as they disappear behind the building. Ian jumped into the driver seat of the van, finding the keys waiting for him and Dylan. It doesn’t take long for them to realize that Dylan isn’t alone in the van, Julia Charles and Patto Bell are also being held captive. Starting the van Ian pulled away from the clave member heading to the other end of the alleyway.  Teddy and AJ spot the men coming around the corner and they take off towards the other end of the alleyway when a van races in front of them and the door opens to reveal Dylan yelling at them to get in. Jumping in they speed away from the alley, the clave members chasing after them until they can no longer keep up.
Ditching the van the six of them hide out in Teddy and Ian’s apartment while they try to figure out what to do next, knowing that they had to alert someone and finding themselves unable to get ahold of anyone at the ball. With that they try and make their way back, running into one of the men along the way they find themselves in a fight for their lives and when he gets his hands on AJ, Teddy sees red, hitting the man over the head leaving him unconscious and possibly dead as they flee the scene, unknowingly triggering his curse.
Kara and Isla arrive at Hell’s Kitchen and nothing appears to be amiss. Inside it’s quite, nothing appears out of place and for a moment the women think nothing is wrong. It’s not until they are getting ready to leave that they overhear noise at the back. With the two approaching quietly the intruder doesn’t even realize they are there. It becomes very apparent something is awry and Kara and Isla overhear a terrible plan. In their rush to leave so they can alert the others, Isla knocks over a glass, the shatter drawing attention to them and the two women are forced to make a break from the danger. Jumping in Kara’s car they drive off headed back to the ball. On the way back they find themselves with suspiciously no cell service and the radios down.  As they are headed back their car runs over a spike strip that blows out all the tires causing the car to come to a grinding halt.
Gia Rafferty wasn’t but a block away when she witnessed the cars sudden stop. Confused by the sight she hurries towards the car in time to see Isla and Kara getting out. She calls for them as she starts running towards them, but is cut short from reaching them when she’s grabbed by a man. Her instant reaction is to push him off, shoving him into the road. The timing seemed to be on her side because she did not see the car coming down the road alongside her. Posey Mitchell had just wanted to get home at a decent hour when she’d left the ball, there was no way she would have seen the man coming and just like that she’d hit him. Panic set in as her car came to screeching halt. Isla and Kara finally reaching Gia and the four women stood staring at the man.
They quickly explain to Posey what’s happening when another commotion catches there attention as another car runs over the spike strip. Poor George Chatwin, like Posey was just trying to get home. Hitting the spike strip cause his car to spin off and as Haylee and Dani’s car came around the corner from the other direction. They had no way of even seeing George’s car and crashed into it rather quickly causing the car to flip upside down with the girls still inside. The nearby group immediately worked to get them out of the car, finding that they were badly bruised and cut up. They were so distracted trying to help Haylee and Danielle that they don’t notice the five clave members slowly circling them, ready to attack. Fighting back the group takes cover behind a car, Kara firing her gun as they tried to figure out how to safely escape.
Chase and Tessa Hastings had been on their way to the hospital, trying to get Lily there when they saw the smoke and pile up of cars up ahead with the resounding noise of gunshots. Chase switched his car to reverse, searching for shelter at the fire station when Tessa and Lily point out that they see people they know. At this point, Dash Hastings came out of fire station in time to find Chase pulling up, he yelled out the window to his cousin that something was happening and thinking on his feet he yells at Chase to let Tessa drive and for his cousin to come inside. Giving Chase the keys to the ambulance, Dash climbs in the fire truck and tells his cousin to follow him.
By then, the clave was closing in on the group and things were looking bleak when suddenly Dash came barreling through in the fire truck, running four of the five down and causing the fifth take off. Yelling to the group, they started trying to load everyone into the different vehicles so they could escape the situation. As Gia was getting into the fire truck gun shot’s ring through the night as the fifth member of the clave started shooting at them. A bullet hit Gia in the arm and Isla helped get her into the fire truck. Reacting swiftly Kara shoot the man, killing him on the spot. Once everyone is secure the group heads for the hospital.
Following the call to the border, Oliver Hastings and Cassie Cresswell arrive to find nothing there. Like Kara and Isla had found, there didn’t appear to be anything actually going on at the border. When Oliver went to put the call in through his radio was greeted with silence. Neither were able to place any calls. Finding this a bad sign they got back in the car and headed towards the ball. Not even a half mile from the border they are suddenly blinded by the bright lights of headlights in the review mirror. With another card riding their bumper they were soon driven off the road. Their car coming to a skidding halt stuck in the fresh spring mud. Acting on sheer instinct Cassie and Oliver bolt from the car, plunging into the dark woods surround them racing away from those chasing after them. Gunshots ring through the night once more and for a moment they think they’re out of the woods and they’ve lost those who were hunting them. Finding several empty houses they break into the basement and hide out. It's once the adrenaline settles that they realize Oliver has been shot. He’s bleeding out slowly and his energy drains from his body. Wrapping the wound Cassie tries to stop the bleeding. Having badly injured her ankle after catching it in a hole in the woods she’s in no shape to get help and escape capture. She tries to give him her blood, hoping it might heal him but finds the blood moons effect have an impact on that ability too. The two wait hoping someone will find them before its too late, as those who hunt them lurk outside the very place they hid.
With most of the town’s little ones at the Greyson home, it was no wonder Sophia Nygaard found herself in a worried state most of the night. Several calls to her husband and Violet left her with very little comfort and when the call went unanswered later in the night Sophia’s panic only rose. Not even Chester Cole can calm her down Checking the security camera’s she found they were streaming nothing and with that, she knew she couldn’t stay. Colton DeForest came across them at that moment and knowing his own child was there the worried father insisted he go with them, Wyatt LeBlance overhears the three and also insists that he come along to check on his son. In their panic, the three worried parents left the ball in haste, their children’s safety the only thing on their minds. On his way out Wyatt told Luna Shaw he was going to check, hurrying off before she could even object.  Cole drove hoping to keep his mind on the task at hand and not let the worried parents distract him.
Luna finds herself in a worried state, frustrated that she hadn’t had more time to figure out what was going on and in her anxious state she finds her way to her brother, who is in good company with Holly, Chou, and Pippa. Her brother Ned Ibarra is quick to ask what’s going on and when she explains Ned tries to call Violet with no response. Worried about what might unfold the siblings agree they should go, Holly Chevelair, Touma Dannika, and Pippa Wilde agree to go with them wanting to help.
When Cole, Colton, Sophia, and Wyatt arrive it becomes very clear that something is very wrong. Scoping out the property they try to identify where the children, Violet, and Vince are in the large estate. It becomes clear they are not the only ones there as the four realize the clave is here. When Luna, Ned, Holly, Touma, and Pippa arrive they find Cole, Colton, Sophia, and Wyatt fighting off a few members of the clave. Sophia informs them that Violet has the children locked in her room in the north wing of the home and sets them on a mission to get the children and Violet out while they fought off these Clave members.
When Luna, Ned, Holly, Touma, and Pippa reach that area of the house they find that some of the Clave members have also figured out where Violet had hidden the children. Needing a distraction Holly is the first to volunteer and Pippa agrees to help Holly so that Luna, Ned, and Touma can get to the children and get them out. Holly pulls out all the stops with her theatric showing and Pippa plays along drawing the Clave members away from room long enough for Ned Luna and Touma to get inside. One by one they help each child escape down the hallway to a secret entrance in the wall that leads to a series of hidden tunnels in the Greyson home. Pippa and Holly make a break for barely escaping the Clave before the Clave realizes that the children are gone.
When they gather on the front lawn they find that Colton, Sophia, and Wyatt have captured the Clave members they were fighting. Loading up the children, Holly agrees to hide them at Miss Anne’s when Colton get an unexpected call. That’s when Violet tells them...
Vince Nygaard and Briar Matthews are missing.
It had been a good night for Adam Haley and Alexandra Cunningham, quite even. As the night began to wind down the two decided to head home, lulled into a sense of security that maybe just once the night wouldn’t all go to hell right out from under them. Arriving home, nothing seemed out of the ordinary but the second they crossed the threshold of their home they found the truth to be far from that. There sitting in the living room was Morgan, rocking in the chair with Briar in his arms as he cooed at the little girl. Frozen in shock, fear took over them both. Taunting them it became very apparent he was there to cause strife. Setting Briar down amongst her toys he grabbed his daughter and gave Adam the ultimatum that would break his heart. It was then they realized they were not the only ones there. Jack Haley and Delilah Reyes sat unconscious in chairs sitting in the dark, gagged and bound. He reveals he’s in the company of both his daughters as Delilah and Jack both start to wake and Alex is faced with the reality that her sister sat before her. There is no time to process anything though because suddenly the odds are even less in there favor. A mixture of emotions running over Adam as the man who had single-handedly ruined his life held Alex in one hand and his brother in the other giving him one choice: Chose which one should die at his hand this night.
In the end, his decision wouldn’t matter. Morgan slit Jack’s throat, never having any intention to kill his daughter. Overcome with rage and grief Adam made a move at Morgan and in the scuffle, Morgan knocked him out, doing the same to Alex he tossed her over his shoulder, retrieved Briar from the living room and left the house, leaving a passed out Adam behind him and Delilah screaming from the place she sat gaged and bound.
Scout Matthews just wanted to see his little girl and after a night of plenty of laughter and joy he couldn’t stay away and so he made his way to Alex’s place. What he didn’t expect was to run into Nicholas Adler on his way, who had told him that Delilah was missing but he’d tracked her back to Adam’s. Finding this an odd coincidence they hurried the rest of the way there. When they arrived they found the door ajar and alarm instantly sunk in. Inside they found Adam passed out and Delilah tied to a chair. They wake Adam and free Delilah and soon find out what had happened and together they set out to find Morgan. Tracking Alex’s phone which was discretely tucked into the pocket of her dress they are able to catch up to Morgan rather quickly. In a surprising turn of events, they catch Morgan off guard and together they are able to get Alex and Briar back unharmed and they’ve captured Morgan in the meantime.
Meanwhile, at the ball, disaster strikes.
A very drunk Jacob Thorne finds himself waiting outside when Ria Desai arrives to retrieve him, outside they sit watching the sky as they talk. Unbeknownst to them, they were about to stumble upon an insidious plot.  Isaac Byrne had been wandering around outside the ball, driven by concern when he’d saw them. Grabbing Jake and Ria he pulled them into the shadows as a small group passed them. From the shadows, the three soon discover that members of the clave were trying to find a way to attack those inside enjoying their night at the ball.  They speak of a plan to take out the Originals and capture the Supreme. Waiting until the coast was clear the three jumped into action. Hurrying inside they make haste to warn those who might be in danger, passing Stefan Reyes, who was preparing to leave, they warned him about the Clave’s plot to snatch the supreme hoping he can help them find her and they head into the party to warn the others.
Finding Nathaniel Greyson with his brother Dominik Greyson they warn the originals of what they’d heard and without alerting the crowd to the impending danger. They take Jake and Ria off with a small group of those who can not defend themselves to hide out in the kitchen.
Joslyn Blackwell wanders into the night seeking the solace and quite on a viewing deck outside. Reveling in the silence she gets the overwhelming feeling she is not alone. Before she can turn around to see the man lunging from the shadows. Avery Carter-Wate catches him by surprise and knocks him unconscious saving the originals life.
All it takes is one word to reveal the truth. Uncle. It had been the most innocent word but it would be the one to reveal the truth to the wrong person. It would mean the end for one. Jonathan Knight and Emma Sawyer thought they were going to get away with just enjoying their night in good company as they headed back to the main area and that’s when they see a body laying slumped into the middle of the hallway. Jonathan and Emma start running towards the body and it doesn’t take but a few feet for Jonathan to realize who it was. Madge Knight lay in a puddle of blood gasping for breath. Emma steps in, addressing the stab wound to her abdomen. The life slipping quickly from her body as Jonathan pleads for his sister to hang in there. Picking her up they come across their uncle first, Noah Blackwell sees them coming towards them first and ushers them away from the crowd. An act of war, Noah knows this is no accident. Someone had struck his family and they would come for the rest of them. As Emma tries to help Madge, Noah sends Jonathan to get a car and goes to find the rest of his family warn them.
Noah returns to find Lukas Blackwell, Tobias Pierce, and Mac Cameron. Gathering the Blackwell’s best fighters he alerts them to the danger setting Tobias off to find Joslyn and Mac off to find Maggie.
Unaware of the dangers that were creeping up on them Maggie Blackwell found herself caught off guard as well. Thankfully Nathaniel showed up just in time. As the Clave member went to make their move Nathaniel stepped in stopping him. Filling Maggie in on what was going on they made the plan to gather the others to help fight off the clave. Together they could stop the madness and protect their people. Maggie heads off to find her siblings who are already gathered and ready to fight and Nathaniel recruits anyone in the pack who could fight. Quietly and discretely the news started to spread throughout the ball that danger lurked and together they prepared themselves. Those who could not fight were carefully advised to head to the kitchen where Jake and Ria were keeping the others.
From the outside, the room looked like it was primed for attacking, like shooting fish in a barrel but when the Clave made their move they were not prepared for the counter-attack they were met with. The fight breaks out and together they hold the clave back.
Following the shocking discovery that another woman shared her face both Ever Altair and Isabelle Cresswell were reeling from the revelation. The night would come with one more unexpected twist. Ever had escaped to a bathroom taking a moment to try and work through what had just happened, she wasn’t alone there though, Nyx Brraganza and Phoebe Stones also happened to be in the bathroom when a man entered, an automatic red flag for the three women.  While cool on the exterior they were on high alert and when the man lunged for Ever the other two women were quick to jump in and help fight the man back. Trapping him in a stall they exit the bathroom trying to bar the door shut when Stefan Reyes would come across them ready to the warn them of the danger they’ve already clearly discovered. Stefan thinking Ever is Isabelle tells her what Isaac had mentioned and Ever explains that she’s not Isabelle.
Despite the confusion, they quickly realize they need to set that aside because the danger is still very real, the man in the bathroom still trying to escape and quickly more Clave members approach. The four take off in the other direction looking for Isabelle. They come across Thomas Scheffer who had just seen Isabelle wandering into the planetarium. Sensing the urgency and also the fact that they were now being followed by a very angry group of people, Thomas joins the group as they hurry into the planetarium just in time to see a few people heading inside. Hiding out of sight they devise a plan.
Isabelle Cresswell’s head was spinning, someone was running around with her face. As she made her way back to the ball she got the feeling like someone was following her. Seeing the planetarium doors up ahead she ducks inside hoping to have lost whoever it was. When she enters she finds that she is not alone, Laura Wilde sat staring up at the domed ceiling. Isabelle expressed her concerns of what she thought was happening and the girls grew paranoid when the doors open both of them screamed but it was only Lindy Cabrera. This caused them both to start laughing at how ridiculous they were and they explain to Lindy their reaction and for a moment they have a nice moment finding their jumpiness amusing.
All of that would take another turn though when suddenly the door opened once more except this time a handful of unfamiliar faces began coming into the room and they looked threatening. Panic set in and Issy and Lindy tell Laura to make a break for it to the doors on the other end while Lindy and Issy start throwing things at the Clave members. One man grabs Issy and Lindy smashes a chair over their head just in time for Ivan Blahnik to pull open to other sets of doors pulling Laura out and away from the group who rush for the door. It quickly closes behind them leaving Issy and Lindy the chance to rush out the other doors with the help of Stefan and Thomas. The group barricades the doors to keep the Clave members trapped inside while Phoebe goes off to find an original to deal with it.
Meanwhile back in the main room Nathaniel Greyson stood side by side with his brother Dominik Greyson, the brothers fighting back the Clave. They’ve been successful and the numbers of their enemies thin and the Greyson men are certain they have secured a victory. Letting their guard down for only a moment they do not see the man they’d knocked out coming too, they don’t see him reaching for the gun. The shot rings through the room and an eery silence falls across the crowd as everyone turns to look to see the devastation that noise could bring. Panic crosses Nate’s face when he hears the sound of a body collapsing behind him and he turns to see Dominik, standing between him and the Clave member, his suit jacket wet with blood. Noah Blackwell snaps the Clave members neck as Nate falls to the ground beside his brother, pulling him into his arms and watching slowly as the life slips from his body.
Dominik Greyson was dead.
Emma Sawyer comes running in, her beautiful dress covered in blood as she finds the Blackwells trying to gather themselves after the fight. Tearfully she tells them that Jonathan never returned with the car to take Madge to the hospital and that in that time Madge had died.  Heartbreak and panic set in, Noah and Joslyn hurrying to find Jonathan as Emma took Maggie and Lukas to Madge.
Madge Knight was dead.
Jonathan Knight was missing.
Astrid Zhen comes upon Jonathan first. He lays beaten and bruised in the parking lot not five feet from his car. Another man clearly knocked out a foot from him must have been engaged in some kind of fight with the other man. She’d heard this man’s sister call Noah, Uncle. She knew he was of importance in some way to the Blackwell’s. It would be crazy for the idea to not cross her mind. Leverage would be nice to have. Pippa Percy comes running out into the night looking frantically for Jonathan when she comes upon them. Pushing past Astrid she checks for a pulse. Relieved to hear him breathing. When she turns to Astrid she finds her gone but coming out of the building she sees Theresa Rutherford making her leave she called out her and the two women struggled to carry Jonathan inside until Joslyn and Noah appeared to help them.
Back inside the chaos began to quiet as the reality of the night began to set in. They’d captured a good majority of the Clave who had come to attack them and with the cell reception restored they were able to start making arrangements to get the injured to the hospital and start moving the Clave to the prison. It had been a night of great loss. Several dead, an original and the descendant of another original lost to this world. There would be no do-overs this time. They’d won this time, saved thousands but at what cost?
When morning comes they find their abilities back to normal and that death is still a very final thing.
They also find that what chaos breeds as Cassie Cresswell shakes awake one Oliver Hastings, who awakes not a wolf but hybrid. When morning came the stress had forced Cassie to turn and she’d bitten Oliver by accident who was slowly bleeding out with her blood in his system. After attacking the Clave members still hunting her she returns in her human form to find a lifeless looking Oliver. Shaking him until suddenly he’s jolting back to life. The two find there was going to be a great deal to handle now that not just two hybrids roamed this world.
