#.:ooc:.#cw discourse#why are we still on this#their take was that more villains that showed up to cause trouble weren't goku's fault#so his reasoning for staying dead like a normal person tbh#isn't relevant and just hurts his family for no reason#and like I don't really agree with all their reasonings for why they say goku didn't attract certain baddies#meaning there probably actually are more that can be traced to him than not#but even so ummmm#the fact that there were any and that he probably HAD made enemies in the universe or even more on earth itself#through his deeds is still a thing#he could still attract trouble from these people/forces#i mean yeah the movies aren't canon but uuuuh#we didn't see androids between 8 and 16#couldn't perhaps goku wonder if those androids exist waiting to hunt him down#and then there's cooler who yeah goku doesn't canonically know about#but he also knows that frieza had a BIG army with a lot of loyal followers#so there's also that#tl;dr saying his reasoning for staying dead is stupid and it's not unfounded. you just want to subscribe to the goku sucks as a dad bs
