My fave thing about Oshi no Ko is how the writer does not pull ANY punches when critizising the entertainment industry

#oshi no ko #they really said AND THE MAIN ANTAGONIST IS THIS WHOLE ROTTEN SYSTEM #the people are either doing their best to survive inside it #or getting fucked (including abuse rape etc) hard enough to become completely fucked in the head #i mean #i can't wait for ai's ex to suffer and die #but the worst part of all is that beside the serial killing he is mostly just. meeting expectations #i mean getting sa'd and fathering a child at 11 is hell of a way to learn the rule of 'do whatever just don't get caught'#being a gifted kid he sure internalised that well huh #i wonder if the 'double suicide' was really a revenge killing too #a beloved killer is also such a perfect way to portray that type of person #rotten to the core but never getting caught for it
