Sandal stars done! Since I physically can’t make them smaller than the one pictured there - and I tried, but the smaller hooks I could find didn’t include a 2 or a 1.75 mm which I ultimately think would need to be about the size I’m looking for, and 1.5 mm produced the right size but was too difficult to work four stars for - I decided that the crocheted stars will be for the side straps (which are bigger, and only need one on each side) while the front ones get embroidery, which works for that size.)

Since I actually made something like six or seven stars total tonight including the early attempts I frogged, and I would prefer NOT to get tendonitis again (frankly, the embroidery was pushing it but I knew it’d be quick,) assembly will be tomorrow or Tuesday, depending on how I feel after a medical appointment. That will probably also be ALL assembly - once those stars are on I can make the wire skeleton for her legs and sew those on as well, which is why I took a break from the hair to do those now. The prospect of making my desk look a bit less Frankensteinian is sweet.
