thinking about christmas w gabe :( maybe he's finally feeling better and you guys can visit his family and it's all okay for once. of couse he'd still feel a little on the edge but hey, you're there and he's also got a lot better at regulating his own emotions, he can do this. and its so nice to see sweet sweet gabe helping his mum around in the kitchen, chatting away with others. and then after a long day you guys settle on the couch, his back pressed against your front as your hands wrap around him- his own playing with your fingers, a habit he can never get rid of- nuzzling the top of his head. he smells so good- soapy and warm and happy, and you know that even though with gabe you take one day at a time, today he's won.
