leafpool's sendoff was honestly one of the best in the entire series. the flashbacks through her life, the emphasis on the sacrifices she made, the emphasis on the relationship she built with her sister, the love that was so clearly shown for her throughout the whole book... it just set it up so well. her death was handled with so much love and thought and care. squirrelflight's novella was really, really good.
