omg jas okay finished first two eps of the bear (wanted to start ir after abbott elementary one bc i was already watching it and two bc ayo edebiri guest stars in a few episodes of that) and it’s SAURRRR good beloved like the way it starts w screaming was so fun and interesting and also every time carmy has like implied suicidal (?) thoughts and the scene just holds and it’s OURGH so good also carmys and richies blue eyes r . something! yeah i had many thoughts yesterday when i finished but sxhool has drained me so that’s all i have rn. but i’m excited to continue watching <333

EESHA MY DARLING I'M HUGGING AND SPINNING YOU AROUND IM SO GLAD YOURE LIKING IT AND RIGHT?? this show is a stellar example of 'show don't tell' in my opinion the way its shot and edited is just so evocative!! the shot of carmen just staring into the stove fire as it lifts around him lives in my mind rent FREE (hence my blog title!) also god don't even their eyes are SO BRIGHT its insane like i think they look nice then other times i'm like 'carmen please look away you're gonna turn someone to stone with those'. thank god for syd and her beautiful big brown eyes <3 AND NO WORRIES.
