#strawglicks art gallery#i am just overthinking it. i know i am.#i literally actively revisit the source material so i dont fall into the deep fanonization of characters#bc i wanna stay true to the canon bc i LOVE the canon#and yet theres a demon whispering in my ear “they would not fucking say that” YES THEY WOULD LEAVE ME ALONE#LET ME CREATE LET ME HAVE WHIMSY AND FUN#i think i have a past of like#falling into fanonization of characters rather than staying true to the canon#and now that im more aware of it i try TOO hard to stay true to canon and overthink it#when like it is not even. that serious. at all. like i got bills to pay instead of worry abt this shit#YET HERE I AM!!!!!!!!!1#plus like. the fact i check the source material and overthink this#proves that i do care abt the canon. so i shouldnt have to feel like i have to prove it#clearly i care. and dont just wanna absorb fandom content#i dont think fandom is bad by any means IM IN LOTS OF FANDOMS THEYRE VERY FUN AND WHIMSICAL#and i dont wanna be a debby ryan downer#BUT theres a point for me personally#where fandom gets so extreme to the point it mischaracterizes and stuff . and im not personaly drawn to that#i wanna absorb fandom content that can still be drawn back to canon yk.#but at the same time WHO CARES MANNN.#DONT OVERTHINK IT JUST HAVE FUN#RAHHHHH HATE MY BRAIN
