They would be therapy dogs for each other
@jackpot-library pst pst pst! More of my demon lore with Diablo crossovers!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Reference:
Tumblr media
I unironically think Satan and Diablo would get along. Satan is extremely overprotective and a little childish, but has extremely severe anxiety, as I've already stated. On top of that, he's partially blind.
Our vision:
Tumblr media
Satan vision:
Tumblr media
This is due to him lacking many of his eyes, it's a mix of blurry vision, patches of complete blindness, and a severe lack of depth perception.
He's still able to fight, having grown used to the lack of vision (his style of fighting is a mix of toph from atlab and Tengen from demon slayer. Using the vibrations in the earth to figure out the layout of a land. Whenever I write him smacking his tail on the ground, that's him looking around!)
He could probably teach Diablo new forms of fighting, based on his blinded style, so even seconds into defeat, Diablo would still have a fighting chance.
Diablo in turn, would give Satan a more even leveled opponent, so he could actually fight what he's scared of, instead of being helpless. Diablo is a fellow demon, one, that even with his disability, he'd be able to take on. Which would make Diablo less terrifying in a way, in comparison to Satan's father.
Satan would live for the fight, and would grow proud of himself for being brave in the face of danger. Diablo might even gain a new respect and fondness for true courage: fighting well even though you're terrified.
They'd also both talk shit about Imperius together. Since Satan used to be an angel, he would have some EXTREMELY personal things to say about Imperius's valor-
"HE DOES NOT USE WRATH WISELY, NOR HIS HEAD- HE IS BLINDED BY HIS OWN PRIDE AND GLORY, TO THE POINT WHERE HE MAKES ME FEEL REALLY GOOD ABOUT MY VISION- I SEE MORE SHIT THAN HE DOES!! HE'S NOT BRAVE, HE'S OBLIVIOUS- GODS!"
Que the lord of wrath banging his head on a table, while Diablo wheezes.
Satan is more emotional once you get to know him, and often acts like a small overprotective child. He'd stroke Diablo's ego, by calling him cool and whatnot, and he'd even start protecting him like he does his brothers.
If there was a crossover between the hells, Diablo might be the first one adopted by the devils of gehenna. There would be plenty of terror for him to feed on from one demon alone. These demons are suffering from the threat of cleansing, which means there's even more terror to go around. The good nature of these demons would definitely confuse him, but they fight for balance, as it cannot exist without chaos and order.
The certainty of uncertainty is the basis of life. While different from the morals and teachings of his own hells, he might respect it, as his own terror would not just be respected for the fear it brings. But the challenge, that strengths courge. No one can be brave, with nothing to fear.
I also unironically think that Satan is more valorous than Imperius >:( They're both hot heads, but at least Satan has regrets and admits mistakes. Swallowing his pride to hold steadfast to ACTUAL honor.
TL:DR
Diablo and Satan would be besties. They would help each other willingly, if they got past their differences in morals, and they would both hate Imperius and talk shit about him while sparing.

A Proposal
Toshinori had noticed several things about Rian during their years together. The kid ate food for the flavor rather than sustenance, he loved to sing, he spent a LOT of time thinking about outer space, he liked slightly-burnt popcorn AND day-old movie theater popcorn, he loved sour foods, he couldn't stand soft drinks, reading was both his passion and his curse, his favorite Pokemon was Metagross, he always checked a locked door 3 times, he was anxious about sleeping while the sun was out, he always just slipped shoes off rather than untying them… The villain could go on for years about all of Rian's little quirks and unique habits and traits. He loved the brunette's oddities, and noted them all with a sense of wonder and intrigue.
The most surprising trait, however, was that even though Rian was not necessarily a Christian… he very deeply loved the Christmas holiday season.
Both a traditional Yule dinner and a fun Christmas exchange were on the kid's mind every year. Toshinori hadn't really celebrated any holidays for decades… but having Rian around made the older villain feel much more inclined to join the fun. He helped decorate both their apartment and the bar, and even playfully set up 50 different mistletoe ornaments— and "missile toads", which were plastic frogs glued to toy missiles and haphazardly hung from a ceiling fan. It was funny, watching Rian try to dodge some of them so he wouldn't rack up a "kiss debt". Toshinori's entire mood about the holiday season changed as he grew more and more festive.
Festive enough to plan for this to be the moment. The big moment.
It was Christmas Eve, and the bar was practically empty as the large villain chased out the last of the lowlifes who'd had a place to go. The guys staying in for the night had already been shuffled off to a back room, with the fear of Him put in them to keep them from touching anything they didn't own. Now it was just Toshinori, Rian, and Midoriya… the latter of which was already gathering his tired self up to spend the night in their spare room up in the apartment. It wasn't necessarily that the kid had nowhere to go, just that a very drunk mother and very absent father made for an awful home life. Quite frankly, he and Rian had both agreed early on that they'd prefer the kid stayed here with them.
He'd told Midoriya about his plans of course, and nearly knuckled the snot out of him when the teenager began to tease the bigger villain. He relented, quickly and happily, and told All Might that he thought it was a good idea, promising to stay out of the way for the night while the two talked things out. It was as close as he'd ever get to getting a blessing from someone's family member.
Toshinori watched the green-haired teen climb up the back stairs, then turned to his lover. Could Rian hear his heart pounding? He'd never been this nervous before in his life. The colorful younger man, clad in the world's ugliest yellow and blue Christmas sweater with magenta highlights in his auburn-brown hair clashing angrily against black cargo pants and combat boots, had his back turned. Rian locked up various cupboards beneath the counter while humming some tune or another, completely oblivious to the blonde's inner turmoil.
This was it. Maybe. For some reason he couldn't seem to do more than stare.
I thought I was pretty tough, he thought bitterly to himself, but apparently I'm just a great big chicken.
Toshinori reached into one of many pockets, pulling out a tiny box all done up in wrapping paper and a bow.
"Say, Kitten… how do you feel about staying together permanently?"
A soft laugh. "Well boss… I figured that was a given at this point! I mean it's been what, half a decade? More than? I'd say we're already on track."
The blonde chuckled, getting on one knee. "Then we should probably make it official."
The younger man froze, then stood, then turned. The villain noted that Rian's face was turning red from his neck to his ears, eyes wide as he stared at Toshinori. Emotions ranging from skeptical, to delighted, and even to fearful lighting up his eyes. Notably, his gaze completely avoided the small box
"Is…. Is that…?"
"It is."
"...You're being serious right now?"
"I'm always serious about you, Rian."
"But— Toshinori, it… doesn't make any sense…"
"How so, Kitten?"
"I'm me."
The older man quirked an eyebrow. "Yes, you are. You're you. A person I've loved very deeply for several years now, and someone I trust with more than just my life. You may not have a very high opinion about yourself, Rian, but that just gives me another excuse to lift you higher."
The brunette looked away, touching a hand to one of his bright-red cheeks. "But you're you."
"Me? I'm an old man who is— and I repeat— very madly in love with you. Just as human as you are."
"Then… you're really sure? About me?"
The blonde fought off a smirk. "Very sure… I don't think I have the patience to train anyone else like I've trained you," he said, soft and teasing, "You better at least look at the ring. It took a lot to decide what to get, I'll have you know."
Rian smiled as his gaze obediently shifted to the item in Toshinori's hand. With gentle nervousness, Rian took the 'present', unwrapping it methodically to reveal the box. Slowly, he cracked it open… and his eyes lit up as he grinned.
"I love this."
"I thought you might."
"Can… can I put it on?"
"Well, I was hoping you'd wear it, Kitten."
The brunette laughed, sliding the ring onto his finger. It fit perfectly, of course— Toshinori made sure it would— and the less-than-gentle giant stood slowly as they both admired Rian's hand. "It's amazing Toshi."
"Kind of like you?"
"More like you… when did you even get this? You haven't taken a job in a while."
"I have my ways, kid," the blonde villain said, lifting the younger man to have him sit on the counter. "You forget I'm the king of the criminal underworld."
"How could I forget?" Rian practically giggled, gently gripping Toshinori's forearms as the older man all-but trapped the brunette between himself, the counter, and the wall, "It's not like you're subtle, big guy."
"And don't you love that about me?"
"I love everything about you. You are my flawless king, after all."
All Might could have purred, if he was capable of doing something so blatantly cute. He loved when Rian deigned to stroke his ego… among other things. "Hmm… you always know just what to say. Especially when you're trying to be distracting."
"You think I'm distracting? That means I'm doing a good job."
The blonde chuckled. "Nice try, Kitten… but you haven't technically answered my proposal. Will you marry me, and make our little arrangement something permanent?"
Rian carefully hid his face against Toshinori's broad chest. "... You already know the answer. You wouldn't be asking if you had any doubts. You're very careful like that, Toshi."
"Maybe. But an implication and a straight answer are two drastically different things."
"But it's… no pressure, right? It won't happen like… next week?"
The villain laughed. "While I'm delighted you have that much faith in me, I doubt I could pull a wedding together in time for New Year's Eve. No, Kitten. There's no pressure to have it any time soon. There's no pressure to have one at all, if you want to just sign the paperwork with an acquaintance or two as witnesses. I just need to know you're with me because you want to be… and that you plan to stay because you love me, not because you feel obligated."
"I do. I really really love you, Toshinori Yagi."
"Then…?"
"... Yes. I want to marry you. I want this to last forever. I want to never let you go again. I want us to be permanent. I want to be together in every world and every way. I want to be yours."
Even as Toshinori kissed his fiance, he couldn't help but feel a shiver go down his spine.
In every world.
Why did that feel like it held an even deeper meaning… as though Rian finally remembered something too?

In the last nine days, John has been in and out of the hotel, meeting some people, trying to get in touch with others. Yesterday night he finally had a break, since now he has to wait for one of your father's affiliates to fly here. So this morning, you shower and dress up as if you're going to the gym. Leggings and a tank top. But you're forced to put on a coat to leave the bedroom because it's a bit cold. John is in the kitchen, having breakfast.
“I thought you were still sleeping, You tell him, grabbing an apple.
“I just woke up.” He takes a look at you. “Going to work out?”
“No. But now that you apparently had a break, I still want to learn how to throw a punch.” Taking a bite, you sit before him on the table. “But if you gave up the idea, I'll hit the gym. I just found out this hotel has one.”
“It does.” John puts his coffee down, getting up. “But I meant what I said. C'mon.” He goes to the living room and you follow. John pushes the coffee table and the couches away, leaving a big space in the middle. Crossing your arms, you watch from the kitchen door frame.
“I'm impressed you're really doing this. I was waiting for you to just-”
“I'm only doing this because we need to be prepared for any kind of situation.” He gestures for you to approach and that's what you do. “I'll only teach you enough to get you some time to run and-”
“To run and find you.” You point out to him, a playful smile on your lips as you pace around the living room. “But c'mon. I don't know about you, but I want this to be a good time. It helps to distract me from what it really means.”
“It sounds like you're bored.”
“To death. I barely see you anymore, it's like I'm completely alone here.” You gesture to the apartment in general.
“Sorry, I've been meeting up-”
“I know.” The tone of his voice gets all professional again, a lot darker. He has a wound on his lower lip, which he probably got because of you and you father's plans. “That's why I'm trying to take this lightly. To take away the meaning behind it. Now let's go. How can a little girl like me take down a man like you?”
“As a start, you go for the most fragile spots. Throat, eyes, nose.”
“Fragile?” With both hands on your hips, you decide to scare him a little bit. So you move to kick him in the crotch, with the intention of stopping halfway. But John kicks your leg to the side, grabs your knee and pulls it up, moving to throw you hard on the ground. But instead of hitting the floor, you're more like lied down gently. But all the sudden motion is enough to make you lose your breath. “You proved a point. No joking around with you.” You burst out as he let's go of your leg and reaches out his hand.
“Just showing you what could've happened.” John pulls you up too hard when you take his hand, causing you to almost hit his chest. “They'd let your head hit the floor, what would leave you disoriented for a few seconds at least.”
“Got it,” You mumble, stepping back.
“Let's practice how to set free from someones grip.” He paces around you, holding you from behind with both his arms, in a way you can't move yours. “Keep in mind they will be squeezing you, so you'll be in pain.” But when he lifts you up, you suddenly burst into a laugh, which makes John put you back down immediately. “What is it?”
“Sorry. I'm ticklish.” You say, still catching your breath. You're about to apologize again, but when he loses his grip and you turn around, you see a smile. It's the same you saw a while ago as if for a moment he forgot everything that's going on. It makes him even more handsome, easygoing... He seems happy, or at least as if he could be. You promised you'd try to make him laugh, that you'd try to make him feel better, even though it may only be for a few seconds. And suddenly you notice how close you are. John slowly lets go of you, but something just won't let me step away. “But it would scare them away, right? If I suddenly started laughing.”
“They'd think you're insane, but it wouldn't stop them.” It all comes back, the smile disappears and his whole face changes.
“I know...” Running a hand through your hair, you wonder what you should do next. So you try to punch him again, and just as he did the first time, John grabs your wrist before you can hit him. “One day I'll surprise you, John Wick.” As you're done speaking, you try to punch him with the other hand, but the same thing happens and now he's holding both your hands. “Shit.”
“You'll have to be a lot better than this.”
You could kiss him. You bet that would be a surprise. John is standing so close, you'd only need to tiptoe. “I will, believe me.” You're not sure if you'd do it, but a knock on the door makes him to let go of you.
You watch as he goes to answer it, coming back from your daydream, telling yourself not to go there again. You're about to sit down to wait for him to return when you see through the corner of your eyes John being pushed violently. As he falls, a man comes in, a gun immediately pointed at you. You run and he shoots. On your way to the kitchen, you see as John gets up, colliding with the man, and somehow taking the gun from his hand. You stop by the door frame, unable to move. Your eyes follow John's every move, and as he overcomes the man, you manage to calm down. Soon enough the man is a bleeding mess on the floor. John checks him before coming towards you.
“Are you alright?” His eyes quickly scan through you, but you're more worried about the wound on his forehead.
“You're hurt.” Pushing his hair away, you check the small cut, your hands cupping his face. For a moment you don't care if that man came in here to kill you, you're way too worried about John being hurt. This feeling surprises you, but you choose not to think about it. “Come, let me clean it.”
“No. I'm used to it. We need to call Winston.”
“Well, I'm not used to it.” As he goes for the telephone, you get the first aid kit. John rudely asks someone to get in contact with the man called Winston, demanding him to come here immediately. When he hangs up, you stand before him, holding the kit. “Are you going to sit down and let me clean your cut or will I have to force you?”
With a quick, small smile, John moves to the couch, and you sit down beside him. He stands still as you clean the wound, relieved to see it's indeed small. “I was going to be a veterinarian, you know?” You tell him once you're done because he seems curious about how you know yiui way around the kit. “Well, I was supposed to graduate this summer, but since I had to leave the country... It might take a while longer.”
“Really?” You feel his eyes on you as you put everything back in the box.
“Yes. Despite my father's fortune, I always wanted to have my own life. My own money. I even agreed to give up my part of his heritage.”
“What?”
“It's crazy, I know. Some years ago Santino and Gianna were fighting over it and when they started to include me, I decided I didn't want it.” Remembering this episode was already bad, now it's way worse, with both your father and sister dead. And Santino hunting you down. “They were quick to set up the documents I had to sign. But after that, father opened a bank account for me and started transferring some money ever month.”
“He wanted you to be safe.”
“Yeah.” You forget the bleeding man on the floor, eyes locked on John's. “Thanks again, John. You saved me.”
“It's my job.”
“No, it isn't.” You friendly touch his arm, your hand lingering for too long. “I-” The door is opened and you move faster than John, suddenly ready to run. But the man who comes in doesn't seem like he came to kill you. He takes a deep breath when he sees the man on the floor.
“This is Winston. The owner.” Both of you observe as Winston checks to see if the man is alive. “I didn't break the rules.”
“Good for you.” He says, shaking John's hand before coming to stand before you. “Miss D'Antonio. My deepest apologies for not coming to greet you earlier, but John and I are working day and night to carry out your father's wishes.”
“Call me (Y/N).” You don't like the tone people force when they call you by the last name. “I'm more than just a surname.”
“Absolutely. I see that you indeed became everything your late father wanted you to. A beautiful, intelligent woman. An example of purity, judging by where you came from.” He claps his hands twice, and two men come in, taking the knocked out one away. “He will be taken to the alley and will be made an example of.”
“Good.” John nods, and Winston stares at both of you for a while. To John and then back at you. “Something wrong?”
“I have two pieces of advice. One for you.” He gestures at you. “And on for you.” Winston turns to John. “One is good, the other no so much.”
You don't like his tone, so you move closer to John, hiding a little behind his shoulder. “Enough mystery, Winston. What is it?”
“Dear (Y/N).” Winston takes your hand and pulls you away from John. You exchange a glance with him, and he nods, as if telling you it's ok. It's annoying how people feel like they're somehow intimate with you thanks to the surname you care. You don't like it. “Be careful with your feelings for John Wick, do not let them grow and become... Something more. He represents everything your father fought so hard to keep you away from. He's the very opposite of who you are, who you want to be. You might be the only good, righteous thing that came out of this cruel world I live in. Don't let him corrupt the purity, the gentleness that resides in you.” Before you can answer, he let's go of your hands and turns to face John. “And you, Mr. Wick, please, fall in love with her. You could use a light in your life, something to rescue you from the depths where you've seen to have fallen again. Someone so kind and generous would certainly heal the wounds you carry.” With a smile, Winston walks away, not giving you time to come up with an answer.
You just don't get it. Who hell does he think he is? What does he think he knows? “Tell me something, Winston.” He stops at the mention of his name. His words about John are burning ony your mind, and you can't keep your mouth shut. “If you were walking on these streets and saw half a dozen men surrounding a stranger, guns at their head, what would you do?”
He seems a little confused. “I would keep walking. As should you.”
“That's the difference between you and John.” You step forward, arms crossed. “He isn't here because I'm paying him. He saved my life at Gianna's party, asking for nothing in return. So you don't have the right to talk about him that way. If I'm good and righteous despite the place where I came from, so is John.” Winston opens his mouth to say something, but you raise a hand. “Thank you for your advice. And thank you for working on my father's plan to help me. But don't talk about things you don't understand. Or about people you don't truly know.”
“You are spectacular.” He says with another smile. “I will send the cleaning crew in. And please, John, take the lady to dinner. Our restaurant is at your disposition.” That said, he leaves, and seconds later the cleaning crew comes.
It makes you sick to see as they clean the blood, so you go to your bedroom. Opening all the curtains to let the light come in, you sit on the bed, staring at the buildings before you. What Winston said... Where did that come from? You have to be careful with your feelings for John? While has to fall in love with you? How stupid. Winston thinks he has everything figured out, but he couldn't be more wrong. If he's as smart as he thinks he is, he should know that what's more likely to happen is the other way around. John would never look at you like that... But you? You were already thinking about kissing him even before Winston showed up.
“Don't be stupid,” You tell yourself, getting up and walking over the window. It's beautiful here, even though the gray clouds give the city a monochromatic look.
“You're not stupid.” John's voice startles you. You didn't notice you left the door open. “What are you thinking about?”
“That Winston is a jerk. But I bet you already know that.”
“He's just good at reading people.” He comes to stand beside you, eyes on the city. But yours are on him. Tracing and memorizing his features. When he moves to look at you, yoy turn away quickly, staring at the city again.
“I don't think so.”
“We should have dinner at the hotel's restaurant though. At least until it's safe enough for you to start going out.”
“People will stare at me. They always do, as if they know me just because they knew my father.”
“You can't blame them for looking at you.” His voice is lower, deeper.
“Blame it on my dead father, dead sister, and murderous brother.”
“That's not what I meant.”
“What could you possibly mean?” You finally allow yourself look at him again, meeting his eyes. “You have such nice eyes.”
“You already said that.” A smile makes its way to his lips. Beautiful, soft lips.
“Well, you have a nice everything, actually.” Shrugging your shoulders, you put a lock of hair behind your ear, just as an excuse to look away.
“You're pretty too. More than that. People would look at you even if you weren't (Y/N) D'Antonio.”
You're blushing. You're sure you're blushing. Stepping back with a giggle, you cross your arms. “I'll put on something elegant then. And since all my expenses are paid, you can order anything you want.”
“Sounds good to me.”

In defense of Finn
Alright so I've been seeing many posts about Finn "using" and "manipulating" Sean.
But I'd like to clarify a few things.
Let's start back at the very beginning, let's go over a few things.
Warning: This is fucking long. Grab a snack.
Tumblr media
Sean first meets Finn when he encountered Cassidy playing her guitar for money. Curious Finn decides to introduce himself to Sean and Daniel.
As Cassidy and Sean have a side conversation, Finn is just starring longingly at Sean the whole time, like a love-at-first-sight type of thing. Or at least he seemed a bit infatuated with Sean. He hardly takes his eyes off him the whole time until they decide to leave. When this first aired I've seen speculation that Finn seen Sean as some sort of rival for Cassidy which could have been a reason he was checking him out the whole time or sizing him up but after seeing episode 3, I believe he had a look of adoration for him.
Episode 3:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Right off the bat Finn is expressing his obvious attraction towards Sean, and the wink, don't even get me started on the wink.
After work Sean is feeling a little beat up, takes a moment before he gets out of the truck.
Tumblr media
Finn was the only one to stay behind to check up on Sean, seeing how down he was after their long day of work.
Tumblr media
"Aww, you'll get scars, but, you'll get it. Part of the fun, and...sexier."
Ah there he goes, commenting how he finds Sean's scarred up, calloused hands sexy.
It seems like every time he shoots his shot, such as risky compliments, he quickly changes the subject. As if he's afraid of Sean's reaction or response.
He opens up to Sean about his past with his father, which couldn't have been easy but it seemed like Sean had deemed himself trustworthy enough for Finn to tell him about who he was before he got to where he is. It's not a subject one easily talks about.
Finn doesn't sugar-coat anything either, he tells it like it was. He was being vulnerable, and you could tell he had trouble talking about it.
Later that night, sitting around the campfire, they talk about their worst memory. Both Sean and Finn choose not to comment but it's worth noting Finn already kinda told Sean one of his worst memories, his own dad narced, giving Finn and his brothers jail time.
The player is giving the option to either go to bed early with Daniel or get a haircut and hang a bit more with the gang.
Tumblr media
"Hans and I aren't together, sweetheart."
When Sean asks Finn and Hans how long they've been together or asks why they don't sleep in the same tent, they both laugh and Finn tells him they're just fuck-buddies. Then places his hand on his thigh as if he's reassuring Sean that there's nothing between him and Hans.
Finn then expressed his sexuality, showing Sean he likes both guys and girls.
If Sean tells the group he finds boys cute, Finn is quick to ask what his type is.
Cassidy tells Finn to slow his roll, and Finn confidently says, "He knows I'm cute."
Now If Sean tells the group he finds boys attractive, Finn won't take Hans up on her offer for a one-night stand, claiming he's too tired.
Tumblr media
Then turns to Sean to give him a small smile.
He sees he has a chance with Sean and it's not just all in his head, so he turns her down because he actually wants to pursue Sean in a romantic sense and doesn't want to mess up his chance with him.
The next day they go collect their pay but Daniel is being a lil shit like always and fucks that up. Big Jo pins Daniel to the ground and Daniel makes an ashtray fly at Jo's head, Big Jo gets furious and asks the group who was responsible for the act. If Sean says nothing, Finn takes the blame.
Tumblr media
He puts his arm out in front of Sean as if to protect him and keep big Jo's attention on Finn.
Finn is a true ride or die, willing to take the blame if it means protecting the ones he loves.
Afterwards it seems like he holds no hard feelings about taking a punch for the two, Daniel shows the group his power and they think it's pretty awesome and promise not to tell anyone.
This is where Finn comments how the place is loaded with cash, suspicious Cassidy asks Finn how he plans on getting into the safe, he looks at Daniel as if to suggest they could use his power. Cassidy gets furious and tells Finn his idea was stupid and would only lead to them in jail.
When Cassidy asks Finn how he could be so selfish, he automatically snaps back, "Sean and Daniel are out of work, they deserve this!"
That was his first thought, meaning he only had Sean and Daniel's best interest in mind when he thought of the idea, I doubt he would have even considered the idea if the events of earlier such as the brothers getting fired didn't happen.
Seeing as this was their last night together Finn wanted to make sure they left with money, so they'd be able to take care of themselves.
But Cassidy yells at him, demanding he can't involve the kid into his bullshit, Sean adds in that he wouldn't have let Daniel do it in the first place.
Finn, seeing as he's outnumbered in this, decides to leave while telling Sean they should have a beer and forget about his lil brain fart.
As he leaves Cassidy warns him again, Finn looking like a kicked puppy, walked away with his head down.
As Sean joins him, sitting down on the log, Finn opens up a bit more. Reminiscing about the time he first got out of jail and his ultimate decision to say fuck everything and everyone and took off into the sunset.
Finn tells Sean about how he's been in search for "A new daddy'' or "new bros" to sum it up, he's been in search of a new family.
A family you could say in which he's found within the group.
But he wants more security, he's tired of always being on the move and just wants his beach house where he could raise his little rugrats someday.
I feel like Finn is extremely homesick, maybe not for his old home but rather he's homesick for a home he's yet to make.
Finn has expressed his Interest to settle down on multiple occasions, not wanting to he constantly moving from place to place. And as a result he gets teased by the others.
So I don't see how people can think Finn's love confession to Sean was forced or sudden, when in reality he's been flirting with him the entire time.
Which brings us to the big choice.
Finn tells Sean he deserves more than he's been given for the shit they've been through, he proposes his plan to Sean once again.
As he explains his plan, it was always about getting the money for the boys in order for them to get to Mexico with cash. I believe Finn really was thinking about Sean and Daniel's best interest and not so much himself, wanting to make sure they were set with cash for food and a roof over their heads. That they'd be able to support themselves out there.
"I wouldn't let you in on this if I had any doubt."
That right there shows he wouldn't have even brought up the idea if he knew it wouldn't be successful. So I believe Finn 100% seen this whole money grab scheme going off without a hitch because in his head, with Daniel's powers they'd be in and out like ninjas. Completely unnoticed.
If the player chooses to go along with the plan Sean expresses his worry, asking Finn to reassure him they could do this without getting busted. Finn confidently says it'll be as easy as taking candy from a baby.
Sean says fuck it and tells him that he and Daniel are in.
Finn excitedly tells him that he knew Sean would understand because they're the same, that he felt it from the start. Finn takes the opportunity to bring up him wanting the brothers to stay with the group after everything is done.
Finn's desire for a family-home life could be Implied, over time they have spent together he grew to deeply care about the brothers. I'm sure Finn has met plenty of people on his travels, people he knows he'll probably never see again.
But when he met Sean and Daniel he knew he couldn't let them go that easily.
Finn confides in Sean, stating he felt the two had a strong connection, laughing nervously.
Tumblr media
It's safe to say Finn has had a thing for Sean since they first met, whether it started as 'Hey he's kinda cute' and grew into something much stronger or maybe he's been completely obsessed from the moment they locked eyes. Who knows but the point is Finn has always been very upfront about his feelings for Sean throughout the entire episode.
If Sean tells him that he feels the same way, Finn asks him what he's afraid of, placing his hand on Sean's lap.
I like this little detail because I've noticed whenever Finn expresses his deep interest in Sean, he has always put his hand on his lap.
But sadly this is where everyone freaked out because some believe Finn's kiss was to manipulate Sean, as a 'seal-the-deal' type of thing.
Which I find complete bullshit and here's why.
When I first seen this particular scene that thought never crossed my mind and you know why? Because that wasn't the point of it at all.
You've got to think, Finn has been completely obsessed over Sean since the beginning of the episode, calling him multiple pet names and basically flirting with him every chance he gets.
He's been so upfront with Sean about his feelings for him not beating around the bush to the point where it could cause a certain fear for Finn to think, "I've been obviously flirting with this guy, either he's oblivious or he's not into me that way."
But hearing Sean has the same feelings for him, obviously made lovesick Finn fall even harder. Realizing they both had feelings for one another, they take the moment to have their first kiss.
Wow Finn decides to kiss Sean after he confesses he feels the same?? sounds pretty normal to me.
So let's talk about the alternative route.
If Sean refuses to do Finn's plan, he'll try and convince him once more but after Sean shuts him down fast, he gives up. Finn's obviously hurt, but says he respects his decision. His voice is very sad from here on out, and he goes back to his kicked puppy state.
Looking for a way out of this conversation Finn tells Sean he should go enjoy his last party but that Finn's stoned so he'll just "zen out" on the log.
I think that was just Finn's way of wanting to be left alone, he's saddened and hurt by Sean not believing in his plan.
In Finn's eyes, both his best friend (Cassidy) and the guy he has the biggest crush on said his plan was dumb and had zero faith in his idea.
I could imagine how heart broken he must feel.
As previously stated before, if you agree to his idea he gets excited because he knew if anyone would understand him, it'd be Sean. They just get each other like that.
But in this sense it's "I thought you'd at least understand, but you're just like Cassidy."
So yes, I think it's appropriate he didn't kiss/ get to confess to Sean if you don't agree to his plan because at that moment in time he's discouraged and heart broken, believing everyone is against him.
Not the best mood atmosphere for a confession not to mention a kiss.
It's not about "oh I guess he didn't really like Sean at all if he doesn't confess to him if you refuse his proposal."
It's more of "oh Finn doesn't confess to him because he believes that Sean thinks he's a bad person for wanting to use Daniel's power and had hurt his feelings when Sean basically said it was stupid."
Considering the fact the only reason this idea came to Finn's head is when Sean and Daniel were leaving camp, and Finn was worried about them financially.
Sure there would be enough money to go around in the group but Finn's priorities were always about Sean and Daniel.
Introducing the lake scene with Cassidy:
Tumblr media
If you choose to go to the lake with Cassidy after the kiss on Finn's route, there's an option where you could choose to show an interest in Finn.
Cassidy will comment that he likes Sean. Which goes to show Finn either talks about Sean to Cassidy, or she just picks up on all the flirting he does... Maybe both?
Both.
Both is good.
She goes on to ask Sean if he's blind, and adds "You seriously can't tell?"
Sean sheepishly admits he likes Finn as well and mentions they've even kissed.
So it's safe to say even outside of agreeing or disagreeing with Finn on his plan, everyone knows he has a thing for Sean.
It's all just a matter of time and place, Finn has a crush on Sean whether you agree or disagree with his plan, if they continue to have Cassidy and Finn in future episodes (low-key doubt) I'm sure there would be a better opportunity for Finn to confess to Sean if Sean had said no to the plan and didn't romance Cassidy in this episode.... Or ya know... Finn doesn't die.
Finn's heart and Intentions were in the right place, it just wasn't a well thoughtout plan.
I don't agree with Finn's idea of putting a kid in danger, he's not thinking about the consequences of their actions. It was a spur of the moment. But I don't think Finn deserves as much hate as he's getting for this.
