It’s hard not to want to gatekeep when I got waitlisted and passed over for a CHANCE to get tickets when there are so many people at the opening night concert that didn’t even know the songs she was playing

#taylor swift #eras tour #not saying you have to know every word #or If you do you HAVE to scream sing everything #but It’s clear from what I’m hearing that there were plenty of people there who barely seemed like fans #who only knew her hits and barely even that #(saw someone confuse wildest dreams with bad blood like come ON)#you either fought for your life on tm for an artist you didn’t even care that much about #or you’re some rich kid who paid way over value for resale tickets just cuz you could #and i cant deny that fucking sucks when I didn’t get tickets and am praying they go down more so I can afford some #it wasn’t like they bought it in general sale #it was verified FAN presale and as someone who was in her top fans and knows the words to every song #It sucks that there’s a possibility I won’t be able to go and they did #and If that makes me a selfish awful bitch then so be it #i just hope if I go that Detroit is hype cuz I don’t wanna be hype and not be in good company #so much of the fun of a show like this is sharing it with other people
