idk much about image formats as a whole but its cool how jpegxl can compress an image losslessly with much lower file sizes than jpeg
#its stil pretty new to my knowledge#like 2021-2022#which means it still isn't widely supported#i had to use a nightly build for GiMP (to export an image to .jxl) and Firefox both (for viewing the image on a browser)
