#i had a longer post about various trends in video game and tabletop writing#but then i deleted it bc i realized this is the core point lol#you may not need elaborate cutscenes or wordy exposition maybe you just need: ninjas. bad dude#in other news i am starting to get OBSESSED in my star fox 64 replay journey so uhhh expect shitposts on that front#i STILL cannot beat the area 6 boss but god i am having the BEST time#this level design is such absolute 🔥#so much tension and variety with such simple controls. GOD#(also i should try more rail shooters in general. always heard panzer dragoon was great maybe i'll emulate it)
