guys i had a dream,

a matchablossom dream. (and mind you i havent even seen sk8 content in ages)

but basically it was in kaoru's pov, them being childhood friends, and slowly falling in love as they grow up.

them playfully bantering as classmates, kojiro sitting kaoru on his shoulders to help him reach something (they must've been 12 at this time), the boyfriends always being together for anything they go to, kojiro saying he didn't do as well as kaoru on his exams so kaoru says "well then it looks like i'll be the one doing further study" and then kojiro grins up at him saying "then it looks like i'll be the one doing business. guess i'll get started now." (they literally act so married i cannot)

and then one day, these two are together again at a festival when kaoru (who was starting to become aware of his feelings for the other) decides to ask "you know, while i do enjoy accompanying you to all these things, don't you have any other partners you'd rather go with?"

kojiro absentmindedly responds with "what are you talking about babe?" which makes kaoru stop in his tracks and then kojiro at the late realization of what he just said, dropping whatever food he was holding. kojiro flounders trying to cover up but kaoru just smiles behind his fan and takes kojiros hand with the other, saying "alright, sorry i asked honey."

and then i got a random cut scene of kojiro and kaoru buying stuff for their new house and being caught in some robbery/disaster and kaoru who was pissed off decided to save the day (putting his hair up and a mask on like cherry blossom and using his skateboarding skills) and kojiro cheering him on like "whooo that's my husband right there everybody!!!"

i'm not kidding this all happened in a dream why can't awake!me ever come up with stuff like this 😭💔
