i’m too shy to share the whole picture IM SORRY—i just wanted to capture a few headcanons into a single shamelessly horny drawing of the three of them together. also, my thoughts are completely unorganized and this post is mostly just me rambling!

small disclaimer, if you don’t agree with or like my headcanons, that’s totally valid but please don’t tell me so 🙇 i kindly ask you just move on from this post. thank you!

okay. so i feel like both reth and jel are service tops HEAR ME OUT—like, they’re both just a couple of pathetic lover boys who are so head over heels in love with you. the fact they practically always gift you something when you flirt with them in-game (jel gifting silk and reth gifting soup) i feel is their attempts at spoiling you and taking care of you in their own way. they just want to see you happy and make you cum your brains out a thousand times until you can’t think straight anymore 🥺

and in general, i feel jel would love to shower you in compliments and words of praise and practically worship your body. while i feel reth is the type to show you how he feels and relish in watching you come undone with him. but personally 👉👈 i feel jel and reth align more closely as switches because they’re both so.. so soft and need to be spoiled and loved so deeply (no innuendo intended)

with that said, i think jel is a more intimate and passionate lover while reth is a bit more unhinged and rough. that’s not to say jel doesn’t have his sadistic bouts. i feel it stems directly from his obsessive nature and grows into a desire to watch you submit to him and his whims, sort of in a controlling way. but it makes him so happy when you do. the need to know you belong to him, both your heart and body, is honestly really important to him. i actually feel he has control issues due to a number of reasons but that’s a different discussion—💀 and he rewards you so thoroughly for showing him how much you love him. god, the aftercare? he’s so gentle and attentive and treats you like the most precious thing he’s ever held.

more on reth, while not as sadistic, i feel he’s still plenty controlling when he wants to be. the poor man has hardly any control in his day-to-day life and the fact you allow him an ounce of control? over your body of all things? yeah, that shit drives him mad (positive). gets a bit carried away and leaves marks on your body, hickeys, scratches, bruises, the like. but hey, at least it’s a pretty reminder of how much fun you had together. plus, if anyone sees they’ll know you belong to him. but he definitely teases you about it the following days by making sly comments and even running his fingers over the more sensitive marks.

so, in my polycule i envision moments where two will actively spoil the other. so for instance like when maddox and reth want to spoil jel and shower him in the love and affection he deserves, he gets all shy and blushy but relishes in the moment. he pays them back tenfold once they’re finished, but not that same night. maddox and reth make sure he’s completely worn out so he’ll finally get some damn sleep for once. reth is the same in that regard; he gets all shy and blushy but he enjoys being spoiled for once. not having to care about anything or anyone else and focus fully on himself and his pleasure. and the two know this and want to show him how loved he is. lowkey i imagine jel bringing him to tears, crying tears of pleasure and from overstimulation but that may be a personal thing of mine. 💀 and as for maddox? they both know exactly which buttons to push. i imagine them sort of egging each other along. i mentioned earlier i think jel has a sadistic side to him, well i think the same of reth albeit not nearly as prominent. like, the fact he teases and flirts so much could be for a number of reasons, but how lovely it would be if it were only to watch their reactions each time. with that said, maddox happens to be very reactive and discovering that fact in bed, like, awakens something inside of him to tease more, to push as much as maddox will allow him. and yes, he notices the way jel reacts to it too. it only makes him want to tease him for the fact as well 🥴 WHICH is why i drew him with that expression LMAO normally i would’ve imagined him with a much softer and kinder expression but i think he’s quick to lose himself in the throes of pleasure which causes him to act a bit selfish at times. but like i said, i see him as a service top so really his ‘selfish’ moments are him just spoiling maddie and jel and showering their bodies with so much love and attention.

i have so many more thoughts but this post is getting long and i’m getting embarrassed so i’ll stop there for now.

~* ~ Art Comment Ettiquette 101 ~*~ as a person who Makes art and Shares art online and Interacts with other artists, it makes sense that i end up in spaces where a lot of the ettiquette around interacting with art goes without saying. i'm probably a little spoiled by being in these spaces, but sometimes i share outside of my usual zones and i remember that it's not intuitive for everyone. nor was all of it for me to begin with, either! i know several art comment etiquette posts exist already, but it's always nice with a refresher, i think! i will disclaim that context always matters, and that what i will list is are some personal rules of thumb gathered over years of sharing my art mostly on tumblr, twitter, and discord servers. a lot of this is just, idk, how do we interact with strangers online? the absolute best you can do is always remember that artists are just human persons and you are probably a stranger who doesn't know them and they don't know you. a lot of time and love goes into the things we make, and sharing them with the entire internet can be a very vulnerable thing to do. as long you keep that in the back of your mind, you're probably fine!

- DO NOT GIVE 'CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM' UNLESS YOU KNOW IT'S WANTED. if the artist hasn't asked for that kind of feedback and you really really want to give some, ask first! artists are not morally obligated to accept Constructive Criticism! it can be very discouraging to share a drawing you've made just for fun in your free time, and then get met with a deluge of comments about what you should've done differently. not every piece of art is in pursuit of Doing The Best. besides, both giving and recieving criticism is a Skill that requires practice, and how much do you trust Rando282748 on twitter to know about artistic composition? what's their credentials? meanwhile, you might be in a smaller artist community where you feel better asking for feedback you actually value. drawing fanart on line shouldn't have to be critique class in art school. - if someone posts a piece of fanart that you think is really really good and you think the Creator of the Media should see it, DO NOT TAG THE CREATOR WITHOUT ASKING THE ARTIST FIRST. it can be very flattering, yes, but do you know 100% for sure how the artist feels about Creator seeing their work? not everyone feels good about it, nor would everyone like that kind of attention! if you think they're just shy or modest about how good their art is, a little "is it okay if i tag Creator?" goes a long way! - unless you know the artist and know what they're okay with, maybe don't be overtly sexual or weirdly aggressive in your comments to a piece of art. i'm assuming nsfw artists may have different limits on this one, so i'm not going to speak for them! but yeah i think this is one of those "hey remember that you're probably a stranger to this artist and they can probably read your comments. you don't know how familiar they are with internet lingo (or the english language!) or how weird and uncomfortable you're making things by being horny on main." - please don't write "this art is so good but this character/ship sucks". look, i get it, you don't want to be mistaken for someone who Ships Thing You Dislike, but like... an artist spent hours of their life lovingly rendering something they care about. you're not giving them the compliment you think you are. - adjacent: if you are not commissioning the artist to draw something specifically for you, don't tell them what they SHOULD be drawing instead. it's an entitled thing to do for one, and as always, it stings when someone dismisses your love for something. - nitpicking gets very old very quick. maybe this is a personal pet peeve, but i don't feel like justifying every artistic choice i make. like, it's Fine if someone has an honest question about the artwork, but some people take it to truly great lengths. if i was sharing a poem i wouldn't want to explain every single metaphor i decided to include. it's like being in middle school with people observing you drawing and asking "WHY DOES THAT PERSON ONLY HAVE ONE EYE!!" because i haven't drawn the other eye yet. "WHO IS THAT!!" idk just some random girl i'm just doodling. "WHAT IS SHE WEARING" ooohh my god shut up shut up shut upppppp - this is DEFINITELY a personal pet peeve. but people tagging art "idk who this is" without even checking the Original Post to see what it's tagged... or worse, tagging it as a completely different character. sometimes it's fanart, sometimes it's an OC, sometimes it's Just Art Of No One In Particular. i always feel a little morose whenever someone shares art of my original characters and goes "OMGGG THIS IS SO COOL WHAT SERIES IS THIS FROM I WANNA KNOW EVERYTHING SOMEONE TELL ME" - i'm exaggerating a little bit, but like... you could check! if you really actually care you can make an effort! i'm delighted you are delighted, but, also........... - oh yeah the infamous "omg your OC looks like [fictional character]". i don't personally mind this one that much, but i know a lot of artists do. it can get really discouraging if you get it a lot!

"ok but how do give Good comments then" there's many ways to do that! what do you like about the art? how does it make you feel? or maybe you just want to yell excitedly! i know i wrote a whole long list about Please Don'ts and i probably forgot several. but most of it boils down to "PLEASE don't be weird or entitled at strangers online." we all do some faux pas' here and there because interpersonal interactions are hard and we're always learning! and if you love art and artists and want them to keep sharing their work, you can absolutely give them that sweet sweet validation without putting down their interests or heckle them about the canon hair length of a character.

My Daily Routine

I’ve talked about my routine before on Instagram, but I’ve recently made a few tweaks, and I thought I’d share it here. I feel like having a solid morning routine locked down is so important to set yourself up for success during the day. My husband recently changed jobs, and with that came a pretty dramatic shift in his morning schedule, and it took me months to realize that the reason I felt so scattered and off track was that my morning was all over the place!

I wake up around 7:30 and try to get out of bed around 8 - I need a lot of sleep, and I have a hard time going to bed any earlier than 11, so I’ve just embraced that I’m a sleep monster and I don’t need to get up any earlier than that! It takes me forever to wake up, so I’ll just roll with it. Sometimes I’ll read, and other times I’ll play on my phone, which I know isn’t what you’re supposed to do but whatever. The hard line I draw is looking at work stuff. No email or todos!

I don’t spend a lot of time in the morning getting ready, usually I just wear workout clothes. I try to go to yoga classes over lunch most days, so it makes that transition a little easier/faster.

I’ll chug a glass of water, and do a few quick chores around the house - making the bed, picking things up, setting out anything I’ll need that day… I work best in a clean environment, and for whatever reason, the morning is when I have the energy to do those mindless tasks, so I try to embrace it.

Then, David and I will take Caspian for a walk. This has been a real gamechanger for me - I used to walk him in the evenings and it would always be sooo hard to drag myself away from my work, and it felt like it cut into our evening time. This way, Caspian always gets a nice long walk, and David and I have a chance to get out into the sunshine, talk about our day ahead, and get moving a little before a long day of hunching over the computer. It’s super nice.

After our walk, I start working right away - usually, it’s around 9 at this point. I have been planning out my days in advance in Asana, so I just dive right into the biggest task that I have to complete, and go from there. I’ve stopped checking my emails in the mornings, which is super hard. I realized I was addicted to my email! It triggers the same response you get when you’re playing slots - usually, there’s nothing that exciting going on in there, but every once in a while you get a real good email - praise from a client, a new client signing on, pictures from a wedding… and that rush of positive emotion keeps you going back for me. However, I realized that I ultimately didn’t feel like I was in control of my day. I was rushing from one task to another, putting out other people’s fires, or just looking at emails and not doing anything about them, and letting them take up space in my brain. Instead, now I begin by checking tasks off my daily list, and I don’t check my email until I’ve completed those tasks. I also try to use the ‘only touch it once’ rule when it comes to my email. I read it and deal with whatever associated tasks it brings up, and then get it out of my inbox. It’s helped me spend significantly less time on email, and I think my response times are probably better as well.

I’ll work until lunchtime, and then it’s time to head to a yoga class. I try to go to yoga every day, mostly because I like my schedule to be predictable. It’s a good break during the day, and it’s nice to get away from my computer and have the structure of a scheduled event keeping me on track in the morning. After yoga, I’ll shower and actually get dressed, and then eat a quick lunch.

Usually, in the afternoons, I’ll head to a coffee shop. I love working from coffee shops - something about other people being able to look at my screen helps me stay a little more focused, and I like the energy of being around other people, and the privacy of none of those people wanting or needing to interrupt me.

I usually stop working around 6 or 7, depending on what my schedule is looking like that day. I am most productive in the late afternoons, and I’ve learned that it’s best just to ride that wave, instead of trying to fight it.

After I’m done for the day, my evenings are pretty all over the place. Sometimes I’ll cook dinner and we’ll enjoy a quiet night at home, other times I’ll be hot to do more work (I know, pretty exciting), and we like to try to see our friends or family a few nights a week as well.

I usually go to bed around 11 or 12, and I try to wind down by reading in bed before I go to sleep. Sometimes this does not work if I’m reading a particularly exciting book, other times it takes me like months to get through a boring book because it will put me right out.

PHYSICAL.

SKIN : fair skin that is scarless for the most part, no acne or notable blemishes except for some small birthmarks of no particular shape on his lower back EYES:  sky blue; the perfect blue color. they are often shaped in a tired, disinterested look of a poker face, but when smiling the softness is shown through them the most. more emotion can be seen through jean’s eyes than any other feature on him FACE :  his face is rather long for the most part, not a baby face in any form, but it doesnt look scrawny or make him look sickly either. he has a longer nose as well that is more lengthy on the bridge than the point itself LIPS :   arent particularly special. theyre not too thick, not too thin, and they are often in a straight line / resting. they dont get chapped often because he drinks enough to keep them hydrated and they are not bitten or chewed at in any form. when smiling, small dimples (barely noticiable) come on his cheeks  COMPLEXION : isnt anything particularly special. its not like he keeps his skin flawless (he has no particular interest in that), but jean is one of the lucky ones who is blessed to not have much acne. he cleans his face in the shower / when its dirty, but with that taken out of the picture, jean doesnt participate in washing it to the excess. its just naturally free of acne and other blemishes. he doesnt get red faced either, nor does he (or would he) wear makeup to cover it up BLEMISHES : besides the small birthmarks on his lower back, he doesn’t have any SCARS :  none TATTOOS :  none HEIGHT :  177.5cm / 5′10″ WEIGHT :  72.57kg / 160lbs BUILD :  has muscle, but nothing extraordinary. his strongest muscle point is in his wide / broad shoulders, but the rest of body just has lean muscle. he appears rather thin, so you wouldnt be able to tell he had much muscle unless stripping him down / seeing him shirtless / etc. he has a flat stomach, but there isnt much developed muscle through his stomach. the abs are there, but nothing noticable, really FEATURES :  nothing particularly notable ALLERGIES : bee stings. there arent many bees in Bādon, but when jean travels to other districts he often has to bring medicine with him just in case he does get stung USUAL  HAIR  STYLE :  golden hair with an undercut underneath a near-bowl hair style USUAL  FACE  LOOK :  he typically is expressed with a poker face. jean doesnt smile often, or really show many other expressions for that matter, but all of his expressions are vibrant (but short lasting). his smile comes out a lot when hes drunk USUAL  CLOTHING : typically hes seen wearing his ACCA uniform, with or without the jacket

FAVORITES.
