the spiral galaxy m83 (southern pinwheel) has got to be one of the most beautiful galaxies i’ve ever seen 🌌🌌🌌 imagine being nicolas lacaille in 1762 discovering this absolute beauty 🤯🤯🤯

#apparently it’s a part of the hydra constellation!#i’m so glad it can be seen with binoculars / a telescope #sadly i don’t have either and i’m not sure what month it’s most visible here in the ph #nasa said it’s most visible in may but that’s probably for usa :’)#i do know tho that most nebulae and galaxies are most visible during spring #which is universally from mid-march to may #i need a tag for my space stuff cos i’m getting into it again #spacing out 💫
