Oh my god okay, I'm on episode 7 (Never Pester Chester) of the Gunsmoke radio programme, and oh my goodness gracious the way Shiloh says "I can carry him, if you get tired Marshal" and the way Matt just grunts and says, so slowly so carefully, "I won't get tired," as if there isn't a single thing in all of Kansas that is going to stop him from getting Chester to Doc right away

#liveblogging #did I pause the episode during the intermission just to make this post?#i sure did #context: Chester was just dragged out of town by a pair of Texan cowboys #he's pretty hurt #Doc said that if he lives through the next few days he'll be alright #but that's a massive if #cause this is the wild west in the 1870's #and Matt's just gone out *gunless* to get those cowboys back so that if Chester dies he can see them hang #and my poor gay heart oh my god #i didnt think it was possible for Gunsmoke to get any queerer than it is on TV but #the radio programme man
