Helloo,
What is your advice to give to someone who’s never prayed or repented before but wants to start? I have no clue where to start and am feeling discouraged. I know there’s not a right and wrong to follow but i’d like some advice if you wouldn’t mind.
Thank you so much! Your blog is very inspiring.
Ahh that is so exciting!! Honestly, getting to a point of desiring it is already so wonderful. I wish I had better advice and I'd love for people to chime in. My first ever prayers were really awkward and casual and I think that that's okay! You can tell God that you're not sure what you're doing, but that you want to pray. Ask Him to teach you and ask Him to make your prayers fruitful!
Personally, I also remember finding "vocal" prayers really helpful to supplement more conversational prayers (i.e. prayers that have rote words like the Our Father, the morning offering, etc., not necessarily just prayers spoken out loud)
Using the Psalms as prayers was always really nice (more on this below, some faves are 86, 91 and 116). I didn't grow up around Christians so formulating my own thoughts and words was (and is) challenging. It's okay to experiment with different types of prayer and see what sticks. If it starts to feel burdensome, stop. Thank God for the time you did spend in prayer and keep going about your day. Although it seems counterintuitive, especially for those early in the spiritual life this seems to be the perennial advice of the Saints. You don't need to stack on a big long list of prayers, what counts is that the Holy Spirit prompts you, and you respond to that call even if only with a smile meant for Him.
As far as repentance goes, it sort of depends! If you were baptized as a Catholic and have just been away for a long time, you can make a Sacramental Confession. If not, I'd recommend starting off with some other quick prayer, and asking God for His love for you to be present, and to help you make a good, sincere confession to Him. Take a bit of time just letting Him love you (it might feel awkward, that's okay!), and then, just let out what's burdening you. Even if you forget things or miss something, know that every sin imaginable is just a drop of water against a raging fire of Mercy. If it helps, you can also google an examination of conscience beforehand to help you reflect on what you want to repent of. A favourite Psalm for repentance is 51.
Basically, it's a lot of trial and error, and the way you pray will naturally evolve over time. Ask Him to help you and He will. It's okay to grow discouraged. A good structure to follow is "Thank, Ask, Rely." Thank the Lord for something (getting to work safely, His kindness, the weather, having food for lunch, soft blankets, your guardian angel, etc.), ask Him for what you want/need, and rely on His wisdom and generosity.
Okay, I rambled a lot, but here's like... a sample?? Of something to try, and see if it's sustainable or enjoyable or fruitful:
"My Lord, in your presence I want to prepare my heart for this moment of prayer. Send your Holy Spirit to enlighten me and open my mind and heart to everything you want to tell me today. Thank you Lord, for nourishing me with your word." Read through a Psalm once or twice, and then take a couple of minutes (literally, no longer is necessary) to reflect on what passages stood out to you, confused you, or that you really enjoyed. Maybe ask God a question you have.
Before bed, tell God for something you're grateful for and ask your Guardian Spirit to pray for you throughout the night.
Praying for you, and don't let your discouragement overwhelm you; all of Heaven is rejoicing seeing you try and learn and grow!

Luke 1:5-25
The angel of the Lord appeared to Zechariah
Tumblr media
The Annunciation to Zacharias,
Painted by Giovanni di Paolo (Giovanni di Paolo di Grazia, 1398–1482),
Painted circa 1455-60,
Tempera and gold on wood in Metropolitan Museum, New York
Gospel Reading
In the days of King Herod of Judaea there lived a priest called Zechariah who belonged to the Abijah section of the priesthood, and he had a wife, Elizabeth by name, who was a descendant of Aaron. Both were worthy in the sight of God, and scrupulously observed all the commandments and observances of the Lord. But they were childless: Elizabeth was barren and they were both getting on in years.
Now it was the turn of Zechariah’s section to serve, and he was exercising his priestly office before God when it fell to him by lot, as the ritual custom was, to enter the Lord’s sanctuary and burn incense there. And at the hour of incense the whole congregation was outside, praying.
Then there appeared to him the angel of the Lord, standing on the right of the altar of incense. The sight disturbed Zechariah and he was overcome with fear. But the angel said to him, ‘Zechariah, do not be afraid, your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth is to bear you a son and you must name him John. He will be your joy and delight and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord; he must drink no wine, no strong drink. Even from his mother’s womb he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, and he will bring back many of the sons of Israel to the Lord their God. With the spirit and power of Elijah, he will go before him to turn the hearts of fathers towards their children and the disobedient back to the wisdom that the virtuous have, preparing for the Lord a people fit for him.’
Zechariah said to the angel, ‘How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is getting on in years.’ The angel replied, ‘I am Gabriel who stand in God’s presence, and I have been sent to speak to you and bring you this good news. Listen! Since you have not believed my words, which will come true at their appointed time, you will be silenced and have no power of speech until this has happened.’ Meanwhile the people were waiting for Zechariah and were surprised that he stayed in the sanctuary so long. When he came out he could not speak to them, and they realised that he had received a vision in the sanctuary. But he could only make signs to them, and remained dumb.
When his time of service came to an end he returned home. Sometime later his wife Elizabeth conceived, and for five months she kept to herself. ‘The Lord has done this for me’ she said ‘now that it has pleased him to take away the humiliation I suffered among men.’
Reflection on the painting
When we hear the word ‘annunciation’ we probably immediately think of the annunciation of the angel Gabriel to Mary. This gospel reading gives us another annunciation, the annunciation of the angel Gabriel to Zechariah.
The angel announces to Zechariah that his wife Elizabeth is to bear him a son whose name is to be John. In Hebrew this name means ‘God is gracious’. God is about to be surprisingly gracious to Zechariah and his wife. However, unlike in the case of Mary, Zechariah’s faith is not quite adequate for this extraordinary announcement. It was indeed an extraordinary announcement as both Zechariah and his wife were advanced in years. God was about to do something that far exceeded Zechariah’s expectations. Zechariah could not quite take it in. The angel then announced to him that his inability to hear what God was about to do would show itself in his inability to speak. Inadequate listening can often lead to inadequate speaking. Hearing comes before speaking and is more important than speaking. Hearing always comes first.
The gospel reading calls on us to be open always to the surprising ways of a gracious and generous God, and warns us that our limited expectations of God can be a block to God’s work, leaving us less alive than God intends us to be.
This painting from circa 1455 by Giovanni di Paolo, one of the most important figures in the history of Sienese painting, is the first panel, the first episode of an ambitious narrative cycle he painted: a series of twelve scenes from the Life of Saint John the Baptist. In this painting, we see the incredulous Zechariah performing his priestly duties by the altar. It is exactly then that the angel in our painting is appearing to him. The angel has a stern look. The whole scene is painted in an elaborate architectural setting where the domes and the lantern recall Brunelleschi's celebrated cupola which crowns the Duomo in Florence.

AWAKENED TO THE ZEAL OF THE LORD
Acts 2:2 - "And suddenly a sound came for heaven like the rush of a mightY wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting."
For some of us there have been certain promises of the Lord in our heart, certain things in the area of dreams, visions, and even prophetic words, where we see ourselves ministering in certain aspects of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  A FRESH WIND OF THE SPIRIT is where the Lord will begin to endow those gifts -- we will begin to see those things He has put so deep within us come about -- the breath of God is going to bring life to those things.
Proverbs 1:23 - "Surely I will pour out My Spirit on you; and I will make My words known to you.
Isaiah 9:6,7 says that the zeal of the Lord will bring forth His Kingdom.  And His zeal brings forth the prophetic utterances that He stirs up within us, just as Jesus describes in John 6:63 - "The word that I speak are not of the flesh because the flesh counts for nothing.  But the words I speak are by the Spirit that brings life."
His zeal will awaken those who have been bound by the spiritual stupor of being hypnotized by the conditions of the natural realm.  We need an awakening of the zeal of the Lord to awaken us out of our self-imposed limitations and give us fiery hearts for Him!  It will break open deaf ears, melt wax, and help us come to ask, seek, and knock until we come to understand and carry out His purpose for our life.  It's not man's zeal, not traditional zeal, but zeal that can only be imparted by the Holy Spirit.
GOING UP HIGHER
Isaiah 59:19 AMP - "So (as a result of the Messiah's intervention) they shall (reverently) fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun.  When the enemy shall come in like a flood,  the Spirit of the Lord will LIFT UP A STANDARD...."
When the Lord raises up a standard, He finds a people who will align and position themselves in accordance to His impartation of higher wisdom of the call of God -- a mandate for a generation -- and then the wind of the Holy Spirit blows and lifts them up higher. It will take us higher so we can do more than what we could ever do alone, because it will enable us to soar with the Lord.  He takes the ordinary and does the extraordinary.
Isaiah 40:31 - "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength:  They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
2 Samuel 5:20 - "The Lord has broken through my enemies before me, like a breakthrough of water."
The breath of God -- the wind of God -- will drive a rushing stream to go against the dam of the enemy and break it wide open for us!  Don't we want that kind of breakthrough -- a BREAKTHROUGH to advance our CALLING in Christ?
PRAYER:
Holy Spirit, give me impartation!   Release that fresh breath that will emancipate me from the small limited thinking that has to date held me captive. In Jesus name I receive the release of the rushing stream that is driven by the breath of God that brings the breakthrough that will move me forward as a radical soldier of the cross.  I pray that every morning the brilliancy of the flame of your glory would grow brighter and brighter as I go forth in my life to bear fruit that remains for Your Kingdom through my Christ calling and bless others with the love of Christ flowing from my heart into theirs. In Jesus name, Amen

Genesis 42:18-43:34, Matthew 13:47-14:12, Psalms 18:16-36, Proverbs 4:7-10
Today is the 21st day of January welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian and it is wonderful to be here with you today as we gather around the Global Campfire 21 days. So, when we finish our reading today, we will have completed three full weeks in the Bible and it will be three full weeks in the new year that we’re getting ourselves acclimated to. So, wonderful! Wonderful! We are well underway. I'm looking back at the last three weeks and saying to myself, the Bible is speaking a lot. There’s a lot that I've been able to consider and hopefully you too. There's a lot going on. The Bible is so rich and full of things for us to examine that so deeply bring up the questions that we need to ask in our own lives. And, so, it’s great to be here with you today as we celebrate three weeks in the Bible together. And we’ll do what we do every day, which is to take the next step forward together. And picking up where we left off brings us back into the book of Genesis. We are navigating through the story of Joseph, who is now second in command in all of Egypt. A terrible famine is in the land. The land of Canaan has been affected. Joseph's family is suffering because of the famine. His brothers, the ones who trafficked him have come to Egypt to find grain so that they can live, and they have ended up before Joseph their brother. He knows who they are. They don't know who he is, and they have bowed down before him and he is accused of being spies. And, so, they're a little unsettled to say the least. He's demanding that one of the brothers go back to Canaan and get his little brother Benjamin and he's gonna hold the other ones in prison until Benjamin gets back to prove that they're not spies. And this is where we pick up the story. Genesis chapter 42 verse 18 through 43 verse 34.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for your word and we thank you for bringing us three weeks into this year, safe and sound. We thank you for all that you have begun to shift and transform and shake loose within us as we simply engage with the Scriptures, as we simply allow them to wash into our lives and speak to us, speak truth to us. We are grateful. And, so, as we kind of bring to a close, our land this week we look at the last thing that was said from the Scriptures this week. Wisdom is supreme so get wisdom. And whatever else you get, get understanding. She will exalt you. Embrace her. She will honor you. She will place a garland of favor on your head. She will give you a crown of beauty. Father in our own strength we confess that we can only create wisdom out of our own personal experiences and then we can insulate ourselves and think that our own personal experiences and wisdom that we've derived from them is all that there is and we know more than everybody else when the truth is we can't access the kind of wisdom that we need to navigate this life. We navigate ourselves into situations that we do not understand and cannot interpret all the time. And so often we find ourselves confused and blaming you for something you had nothing to do with. We need wisdom, we confess that. We thank you for the wisdom that we have been able to accumulate. We are asking through the power of your Holy Spirit and through the authority of the Scriptures that you increase our wisdom exponentially. May we be wise sons and daughters of your kingdom, and may we operate and interact with one another using wisdom. We need it now more than ever it seems and it's only going to increase. Our need for discernment and wisdom is very vital and it has been vital for thousands of years as we are reading it from the Scriptures thousands of years ago. Give it to us as we seek as we humble ourselves before you as we open our hands to you as we open our hearts to you. Come fill us, we pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer Rules Using the Jesus Prayer
The Rule of St. Pachomius
Note: This order was given to St. Pachomius of Egypt by an Angel, and was the rule he used at each hour of the day and night. It is a prayer rule that especially lends itself to memorization, and as such is one that can be done in situations in which it is impractical for one to pray using a prayer book.
Introductory Prayers
Through the prayers of our holy Fathers, O Lord Jesus Christ our God, have mercy on us. Amen.
Glory to Thee, our God, glory to Thee. O Heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, Who art everywhere present and fillest all things, Treasury of good things and Giver of life: Come and dwell in us, and cleanse us of all impurity, and save our souls, O Good One.
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us. (Thrice) >Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the unto the ages of ages. Amen.
O Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. O Lord, blot out our sins. O Master, pardon our iniquities. O Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for Thy name's sake.
Lord have mercy. (3X)
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Our Father, Who art in the Heavens, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
O Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us. Amen.
Lord, Have mercy. (12X) >Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the unto the ages of ages. Amen.
O come, let us worship God our King.
O come, let us worship and fall down before Christ our King and God.
O come, let us worship and fall down before Christ Himself, our King and God.
Psalm 50
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Thy great mercy; and according to the multitude of Thy compassions blot out my transgression. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know mine iniquity, and my sin is ever before me. Against Thee only have I sinned and done this evil before Thee, that Thou mightest be justified in Thy words, and prevail when Thou art judged. For behold, I was conceived in iniquities, and in sins did my mother bear me. For behold, Thou hast loved truth; the hidden and secret things of Thy wisdom hast Thou made manifest unto me. Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be made clean; Thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow. Thou shalt make me to hear joy and gladness; the bones that be humbled, they shall rejoice. Turn Thy face away from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from Thy presence, and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation, and with Thy governing Spirit establish me. I shall teach transgressors Thy ways, and the ungodly shall turn back unto Thee. Deliver me from blood-guiltiness, O God, Thou God of my salvation; my tongue shall rejoice in Thy righteousness. O Lord, Thou shalt open my lips, and my mouth shall declare Thy praise. For if Thou hadst desired sacrifice, I had given it; with whole-burnt offerings Thou shalt not be pleased. A sacrifice unto God is a broken spirit; a heart that is broken and humbled God will not despise. Do good, O Lord, in Thy good pleasure unto Zion, and let the walls of Jerusalem be builded. Then shalt Thou be pleased with a sacrifice of righteousness, with oblation and whole-burnt offerings. Then shall they offer bullocks upon Thine altar.
The Creed
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Only-begotten, begotten of the Father before all ages; Light of Light, true God of true God; begotten, not made; of one essence with the Father, by Whom all things were made; Who for us men and for our salvation came down from the heavens, and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became man; And was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried; And arose again on the third day according to the Scriptures; And ascended into the heavens, and sitteth at the right hand of the Father; And shall come again, with glory, to judge both the living and the dead; Whose kingdom shall have no end. And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life; Who proceedeth from the Father; Who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; Who spake by the prophets. In One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the remission of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead, And the life of the age to come. Amen.
The Jesus Prayer
O Lord, Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner. (100X)
The Dismissal
It is truly meet to bless thee, the Theotokos, ever blessed and most blameless, and Mother of our God. More honorable than the Cherubim, and beyond compare more glorious than the Seraphim, who without corruption gavest birth to God the Word, the very Theotokos, thee do we magnify.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Lord, have mercy. (3X)
O Lord, Bless.
O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, for the sake of the prayers of Thy most pure Mother, of our holy and God-bearing fathers, and all the saints, have mercy on us and save us, for Thou art good and the Lover of mankind. Amen.

6/7/2022 DAB Chronological Transcription
Proverbs 13 - 15
Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible Chronological, I'm China. Today is the 7th day of June. So great to be here with you guys today. What an honor is to get to read the word of the Lord, to end with you. And the birds are chirping. I mean, what a beautiful time to gather around today. We are in the Book of Proverbs. We are in chapters 13 through 15. And we are continuing with the English Standard Version for this week.
Commentary
Man, there's so much goodness in today's scripture. It feels so rich and it just feels I just am, like, speechless, honestly. And in this place of gratitude that we have wisdom available to us. It's not that the Lord is asking something of us and he's like, I'm asking this of you, but you have to figure out how to do it. If anything, he's shown us what the Kingdom looks like on Earth as it is in heaven. By sending us His Son for a way to be reconciled back to the Father, we saw Jesus, we will see Jesus life in the fall, unfortunately due to reading chronological, but we will see the perfect life of Jesus, the perfect lamb that was slain for us, for our behalf. And we can see the day to day of Jesus. And really all of these things that we read about coming to pass. And so it's not that we're without a teacher. It's not that we're without a counselor or without guidance or wisdom. We have the Holy Spirit who comforts. We have wisdom who guides and instructs. So I just encourage you to go back and reread this and just slowly meditate on it. Even in the very beginning of today's scripture, I was like, oh, my gosh, I just want to pause right here. It's so good. Were it's just talking about the fruit of his mouth. A man eats when is good, but the desire of the torturous is for violence. Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life, but he who opens wide his lips comes to ruin. Like that in itself is like, okay, work has to be done there. I have to put in some effort there, right? It's saying we need to be aware of what's going out of our mouths. And I believe it's also in Proverbs where it talks about the power of life or death is within the tongue. And if we had a grasp of that, if we had that truly in our brains whenever tension was arising or conflict, or even inner dialogue with ourselves, if we were just to be aware that we hold that power and just having Scripture readily available in our mind that we've meditated on, that is in context and the Lord has revealed to us and that we continue to recite over and over again, not only will be able to apply that as like a balm to our hearts, but we'll be able to readily give it to others appropriately, in their time of need as well.
Prayer
Father, I just thank you for your word. I thank you for the beauty of your word, the pure poetry that Proverbs seems to truly be. And Lord, I pray that we would desire wisdom. We would desire righteousness and goodness for all of our days. And Lord, I pray that we would have clean hands and clean and pure hearts. And when would you renew us today and every day. And it's in Your name we pray, amen.

Community Prayer Line
Hi DABC, this is Tanya calling in from Suffolk, Virginia. I want to pray for the young lady from Illinois in regards to some of her family, friends that has recently developed, covid again, and one of her friends that have heart issues. And I also want to pray for the young lady in reference to her husband. I believe that has kind of straight away from the lower and how it has affected their family as well. Dear Heavenly Father, even with the family stand in need of Father, I just ask, Lord, that you just be there in their time of need, be that support for them. Lord, bring people into their lives that. They can connect with that will continue to uplift and encourage them. Father, I'm asking that you just strengthen right now. In the mighty name of Jesus, I find that devil. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
Good afternoon. D-A-B-C. Family, this is under construction and I just wanted to ask for your guys'prayers. I feel like every time I call in it's always to ask for something. I apologize, but I do actually want to address something too really quick. There was a lady who called in one day about shoulder pain and she was saying that there's people that have so much bigger things going on. I just hope everybody out there knows no matter how big or small or whatever it may be, there are times that I just pray for the whole DAB, DABC family in general and everybody's needs of who calls and doesn't call in regardless. That's really what we're all here for to support each other. But anyways, what I am meaning. So my other half and I have had a pretty Rocky relationship and at one point I thought he was going to leave me, but he asked me the other day if I wanted to move with him out of state. And more than anything I want to say yes, I want us to have a good relationship. I want us to be in love. I want us to be happy. I want us to be able to get through the arguments and the ups and downs together. And I just pray that I know that it's in God's hands, but what God Wills will come together. I really want this. But if it's not what God wants, then I want him to be able to leave without me. Thank you.
Praise God. D-A-B-C family. This is Velma from the Virginia side of the DMV. Today is May 26. And thank you. Thank you, Lord, for China. Thank you for the reading of Psalm 139. Where can we go that you're not there? Nowhere. Nowhere. You're everywhere, Lord. So today I heard prayers from Rodney from Atlanta. He led us in this beautiful prayer asking us to pray and lift up the people of Buffalo from that tragedy. And then we heard from the Refined by the fire, praying for the children for the summer. And as they were praying and as I'm reflecting about Psalm 139, I just want to give God praise. He's everywhere in every situation. And Lord, I just want to pray today because here we are again in the midst of another tragedy, these babies in Texas where a gunman went in and killed these babies and their teachers. So, Lord, I lift them up today. I asked, Lord to comfort them as they go through burying their children and. The teacher who threw herself over these babies to protect them. I asked you, Lord, to comfort her family. Lord, let's lift up these children. Let's lift up these families. Father, we love you. We praise you, Lord. And let us remember even in our darkest hours, there's nowhere we can go that you're not there. I lift all of these prayers up in the name of Jesus.
Hi, this is Victoria Soldier calling to pray for some of the DABbers. I want to pray for Rodney Kamellis, Atlanta. I want to pray for Refined by the Fire. She prayed for students and teachers and parents are going through in the school. I want to pray for them and the family of those who lost their precious love's in those shooting. We want to pray for Laurie, Samantha and her brother. I want to pray for Tanya and I want to pray for Kingdom seekers precious wife and just that to keep up with her strength and those who have gone through the loss of their loved ones and going through anxieties and depression and dealing with strongholds gracious. Father, we just lift you up and thank you because, God, you're a God that can do anything. But there you are, mighty God. You are mighty, an awesome God. You're a merciful God. You are God. That is amazing. There is nothing that you are unable to do. We just ask that you touch those names that we call and those names we may not have called and don't remember. Lord, or didn't get to let them know that we love them because maybe they didn't call it. But we asked you, Lord, before they even asked Lord that you begin to hear that you give them life in favor that you bless them that you heal you lift that anxiety, Lord you take away that stronghold, Father in the name of Jesus and Lord will give you the glory we continue to bless jail in China in a mighty special way continue to have your way in China's life and bless our little precious girl and their marriage for them and we actually can be in the midst of every marriage, Lord because you stand in your work who you put together let no man put us under we action for strength in the marriage strength like never before. We actually to have your way, Father we actually to open doors we actually bring together in a mighty special way give them joy in their marriage and in their home and bless their children, Lord to bring our young people back home and strengthen them, Lord knowing that you are the way the truth and the life and Lord will give you the glory in the honor and the praise in Jesus name Amen.

#DailyDevotion If We're Going To Make It, The LORD Is Going To Have To Get Us There Psalm 119 169Let my loud cry come before You, O LORD; give me understanding as You promised (dabar). 170Let my plea come before You; rescue me as You promised (imrah). 171My lips will pour out praise because You teach me Your laws (choq). 172My tongue will sing about Your word (imrah) because all Your commandments (mitsvah) are righteous. 173May Your hand be ready to help me because I have chosen the way You want me to live (piqqud). 174I long for You to save me, O LORD, and delight in Your teaching (teaching). 175Give me a new life, and I'll praise You, and help me by Your righteous action (mishpat). 176If I wander away like a lost sheep, search for Your servant because I never forget Your commandments (mitsvah). We can make statements like the psalmist in verse 169 because Jesus promised us the Father knows what we need before we ask Him. When he prays, "give me understanding as You promised," it makes me think perhaps Solomon wrote this, as the LORD promised to give him understanding when he asked for it. In verse 130 he had written, "Your word is a door that lets in light and helps the simple person understand." James writes in ch. 1, "5If you lack wisdom, ask God, Who gives to everyone with an open hand and doesn't scold, and He will give it to you." That the LORD would hear his plea is repeated in the next verse. His plea is not only for understanding but also for deliverance (most likely from enemies). Again we have in parallel fashion "dabar" and "imrah." The next two verses are also in pararrel fashion. "My lips pour out praise," and "My tongue will sing," set up the teaching of the LORD's law and commandments. It is praise-worthy the LORD would deign to teach us His ways and reveal to us His righteous commands. We are very blessed to receive His words. It is good to remind ourselves His commandments are righteous. They go against the way of the world which calls evil good and good evil. 173 and 174 are also in parallel fashion to one another. The first halves are seeking the LORD's help and salvation. The second halves give the reason for it. He has chosen the way of the LORD's piqqud and delights in all His teaching. Certainly, as those who have been given birth from above can now choose to live according to the way of the LORD. Why would we do anything else (we certainly fight against the flesh which strives against His ways and sometimes we do fail)? Our new circumcised hearts, circumcised not by human hands, delight in the LORD's word and ways. It wants to keep inviolate the teaching of the LORD Jesus Christ and to do it. If we are going to live a new life in the LORD, He's going to have to be the One who does it. Paul writes in Gal. 2, " 20I was crucified with Christ, and I don't live anymore, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in my body I live by believing in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me." In Phil. 2 he writes, "13...it is God Who continues to work in you, both to desire as well as to do what is pleasing to Him." We join the psalmist in asking the LORD to help us to praise Him with our lives to help us by His righteous actions. The last verse may seem contradictory. How can we have gone astray and have remembered His commandments? John reminds us in chapter 5 of his first epistle while all wrongdoing is sin, not all sin leads to death. As God's holy people who struggle against sin, Paul tells us about that struggle in chapter seven of Romans. In his heart and spirit he wants to do what is right but his flesh is sold as a slave to sin so he does what he hates. We do not become apostate from our daily sins, when we confess them and turn from them to Christ. They could lead to death if we excuse rather than confess them. So Peter, who out of fear, denies he knows Jesus, while going astray, has not become an apostate like Judas, who has rejected Jesus. Good Shepherd come and get us. LORD Jesus Christ, when we stray be our Good Shepherd and retrieve us. Live in and through us so we may live lives pleasing to You and the Father. In Your name we pray. Amen. Read the full article

What is your prayer life like? Has it grown stagnant? When we read this Bible verse, we are reminded that how we pray matters. We should pray diligently, constantly making our hearts and requests known to God. When we ask, we shall receive. We should not just say the prayer and be finished, we should look for what God may be using to answer our prayers. When we seek, we shall find. Finally, after praying and seeking, we must continue seeking God without giving up. God will open the door.
There have been times when I myself have not called out to Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ when I should and that pains me and Him deeply. Sometimes, it feels so hard to wait and be patient, but as true and born-again Christians, we know we can trust Him and His promises. He is our provider and our protector. God hears our prayers and He knows what we need and provides it. We must continue to seek Him and wait patiently to receive His answer in His perfect timing. May He lead us in the direction He wants us to go so that we may seek and serve Him faithfully. God is holy and almighty and deserving of all praise honor and glory. We rejoice in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ, knowing He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is the Alpha and the Omega (Revelation 1:8). May our hearts always be filled with thanksgiving and rejoicing. May He help us to praise Him freely and honestly like all believers who came before us. May we live a life that showcases our love and trust in Him and His Holy Word and Spirit as He uses us draw others to Him and His soul-saving Gospel Truth daily. May He continue guide, correct and protect us, so that we continue to grow in Him and not weaken and stray. May we all remain faithful to Him and to this duty and purpose He has called us to. Seek and put your faith and trust in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ and let Him do the rest. May He humble our hearts and help us focus on following and serving Him daily and helping others with joy and happiness. We lift our voices in praise to Him for His love, mercy, peace, faithfulness and grace. - For EVERYTHING!
It is vital that we remain rooted in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit and that we live and walk as a beacon of His light and love and share and spread the Gospel Truth daily, so that the lost souls in this world can come to know Him and be saved. The more we focus on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ, growing spiritually by building our relationship with Him, leaning on Him and His Holy Word and Spirit, the better off we will be. Thanks to this and our faith in Him, we know that everything will be alright. And we will forever be grateful to Him. As true and born-again Christians, we believe in Him and His Holy Word and we strive daily to walk in His Holy Spirit. We know though our mortal bodies should die, He will raise us up and into new and glorious bodies (The Rapture). We who are truly His and alive at His second coming will never die, and our bodies will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and so shall we ever be with Him in His Kingdom of Heaven forevermore (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). This is one of many promises given to us by God Himself. Thank God for His strength and guidance when we are faced with sin and temptation. Thank Him for His mercy and grace. Through Bible study and prayer, God reveals His wisdom and guides us to see opportunities to grow closer to Him and grow spiritually. He gives us direction to live our lives daily according to His will.
Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven (John 3:5, 14:6), the ONLY way to salvation (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9) and He is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25-26). Jesus Christ the LORD of lords, KING of kings, the GOD of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17, 1 Timothy 6:15, Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16) - He is the Living, Almighty and Everlasting God (Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8, John 3:16, John 3:36, Jeremiah 10:10). There is no other God besides Him (Isaiah 45:5). We MUST humble ourselves before Him, turning our backs on false teachers, false gods and idols and our sinful ways. We MUST repent and turn back to God and recognize who He is and love Him in return for His great love for us. We MUST make God top priority everyday! May we be motivated to spread God's Holy Word and Gospel Truth to all the Earth, knowing that it is the only hope of all those lost in their sins. Let us not hold out a false hope for men to be saved without the Gospel, but instead, strive to do our part to get the Gospel out to a lost and dying world.
Leaning on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit strengthens us and our knowledge and wisdom about God and His Gospel Truth, exposing these imposters. May God help us to seek and lean on Him daily to gain the strength, wisdom and spiritual discernment needed to expose Satan and his imposters who seek to destroy us and God's ultimate Truth. Everyday, we must remember to share Jesus Christ's Gospel Truth with the world and to thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for the grace that He poured out for us on the cross at Calvary. He has freed us from the burdens of sin and from the eternal damnation of Hell. In all we say and do, may all praise, honor and glory always be given to Him and His Kingdom of Heaven.
With renewed minds, hearts and wills, let us serve Him humbly and faithfully out of pure love and grateful rejoicing. May He remind us of His presence and to remain at peace, fully knowing that all will be well because He is always with us. Let us seek Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ today and everyday with all our heart and being, looking for His love, light and will for our lives with each step we take. Let us seek to please Him with our thoughts, words, and deeds and seek to advance His Kingdom of Heaven and His glory with our lives. Let us seek Him from a pure and humble heart, and when we so seek, we believe Him and His promise that we will find. May He help us all to be more sensitive to the teaching ministry of His Holy Word and Spirit, relying on Him and allowing Him to speak to us and guide us every step of our Christian journey.
God gave us the Holy Bible - His living and Holy Word - to let us know of Him and His abiding love and care as well as guide and prepare us for all our lives. May He help us encourage one another as we continue our walk with Him and our duty to Him daily. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for being present for all our new beginnings and all our lives. May He redirect any anxiety we feel as He provides countless opportunities for growth and change. May we humble ourselves before God always, asking Him to forgive our sins and make our hearts and lives anew through His Holy Word and Spirit. May He help us make Him and His Holy Word top priority, so we can grow spiritually and grow in our relationship with Him as we apply it to our daily lives. Thank God that we can focus on Him and everything about Him, for that is what keeps us sane and at peace. May our words and actions always be a reflection of Him and His Holy Word and Spirit and will.
May He help us to always walk in His grace and Holy Spirit, not by our own measure. May He give us the humble humility to know that our freedom and eternal salvation is found only in Him, so that His grace may sustain us, and we may never lose sight of His love and light and mercy. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for calling us to Him and to serve Him. May He equip us to do all that He has called us to do so that as He works through us, He may use us to produce fruit, to reach others, and to encourage all brothers and sisters in Christ. May He work all of these things in us and through us for His Kingdom and His glory. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all His creation, for His miraculous ways and for everything He does and has done for us! Keep the faith and keep moving forward in your walk with Jesus! He loves us and He knows what is best for us. Seek, follow and trust in Him - Always!
Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Word and for sending His Holy Spirit so that we might have His grace, not only to awaken us and transform our hearts in our spiritual rebirth and guarantee our eternity with Him, but to also call upon Him whenever we are in need. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all the reminders of His love and mercy and faithfulness within His Holy Word. He is bigger than any challenge or circumstance in our lives. Knowing this within our minds and our hearts, nothing can deter our faith in Him and His Truth. May we all accept Him and His eternal gift of salvation and ask that He would transform our hearts and lives according to His will and ways. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Spirit who saves, seals and leads us. May we always thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His almighty power and saving grace. For He is our strength, and He alone is able to save us, forgive our sins and gift us eternal salvation and entry into His Kingdom of Heaven.
May we make sure that we give our hearts and lives to God and take time to seek and praise Him and share His Truth with the world daily. May the LORD our God and Father in Heaven help us to stay diligent and obedient and help us to guard our hearts in Him and His Holy Word daily. May He help us to remain faithful and full of excitement to do our duty to Him and for His glorious return and our reunion in Heaven as well as all that awaits us there. May we never forget to thank the LORD our God and our Creator and Father in Heaven for all this and everything He does and has done for us! May we never forget who He is, nor forget who we are in Christ and that God is always with us! What a mighty God we serve! What a Savior this is! What a wonderful LORD, God, Savior and King we have in Jesus Christ! What a loving Father we have found in Almighty God! What a wonderful God we serve! His will be done!
Thanks and glory be to God! Blessed be the name of the LORD! Hallelujah and Amen!

Praise the Lord! Welcome, everyone, in Jesus' name for today's word ministration.
Let us Pray: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus we give you glory, honor, and praise for you are worthy. Thank you for the breath of life and this wonderful time you enabled us to share your word. May you, Lord, open our spiritual eyes so that we may see you, open up our spiritual hearts to receive your word, and our spiritual ears to hear what you want us to hear and do according to your Will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Topic - KINGDOM LIVING
The day we accepted Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, there was a great change in authority. We have been delivered from Satan's dominion/rulership/headship, and we are now under a whole new authority - that of the Lord Jesus. As believers begin growing in their new life in the Lord, they soon discover that the only way to enjoy living in God's kingdom is in a right relationship with Jesus.
Ephesians 1:17 - that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
Philippians 3:10 - that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.
At the very beginning of our new life with God, this relationship takes two distinct forms:
1. Savior
2. Lord
1. Savior
This is the very first relationship we can have with Jesus. We cannot know God as Father or Friend until we first have a revelation of Jesus as Savior - the one who died for us and rescued us from Satan's kingdom.
a. Jesus saved us from God's Judgment
1 Thessalonians 1:10 - and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 - For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Romans 5:9 - Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
The above verses tell us that it is Jesus who has saved us from the wrath of God and the impending judgment.
b. Jesus saved us from Satan's power
Acts 26:18 – to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’
Colossians 1:13 - He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.
(Also read Hebrews 2:14; 1 John 3:8).
c. Jesus saved us from Our Own Selves
Philippians 3:19 - whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.
2 Corinthians 5:15 - and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
1 Peter 1:18 - knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers.
(See also Titus 3:3-6; Hebrews 2:10; 2 Timothy 1:10)
2. Lord
The second distinct form of relationship is "LORD." Knowing Jesus as Savior brings us into God's kingdom, but that is not where our relationship with Him ends. Once we are inside His Kingdom, that relationship takes on dramatic new changes. Now we know Him not merely as Savior but as Lord - OUR LORD! He is King in His Kingdom.
Colossians 2:6 - As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
1 Corinthians 12:3 – Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.
Also see John 13:13; Romans 1:4; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Corinthians 4:5.
When we enter the Kingdom of Light, we can enjoy what we are created for - a loving relationship with the Lord. Because of this, when Jesus becomes Lord of our life, we find that his dominion in our lives brings us out of the chaos of sin into divine order and peace.
Colossians 2:9 – For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
1 Corinthians 8:6 - yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.
Jesus, though King of the Kingdom, became a servant. He is the example of what the true citizen of His Kingdom is like.
Philippians 2:5 - Let this mind (attitude) be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,
John 13:13-15 - You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. 14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet. 15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
Read also John 13:5-17; Mathew 20:26-28; Luke 22:27
All these verses tell us how to be the Model Citizen of God's Kingdom. As members of Christ's kingdom, we enter into a Master-servant relationship with Him (Mathew 6:24).
Jesus came to do His Father's will (Hebrew 10:5-9). In His day-to-day life, He displayed what the lifestyle of the Kingdom is all about: Living to please God (Ephesians 5:8-10).
We are to have this servant heart, just as Jesus had a servant's heart.
Many Christians do not like the concept of being a servant because it seems to make one person inferior to another. But in the Bible, we find four interesting paradoxes:
In slavery, There is Freedom
Romans 6:22 - But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.
See also Romans 12:1; 1 Corinthians 7:22; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Ephesians 6:6, 7; 1 Peter 2:16.
In being a servant, There is Greatness
Mathew 23:11-12 – But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
See also Mathew 20:26-27; Mark 9:35: 10:43; John 12:26
In Humility, There is Exaltation
Mathew 18:4 - Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
See also Luke 18:14; Proverbs 29:23; James 4:10; 1 Peter 5:5, 6; Mathew 19:30.
In Submission, There is Authority
The Roman Centurion (a military leader over 100 soldiers) who came to Jesus understood this principle.
Luke 7:7-8 - Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8 For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
Because the Centurion was under authority, he was able to exercise authority; and he readily submitted to Jesus' authority. (Read also verses 1-10; James 4:7)
The lifestyle of the kingdom of God is an attitude of SUBMISSION and OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
Mathew 12:50 – For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.”
See also Ephesians 6:6; Hebrews 13:21; 1 John 2:17; 1 Thessalonians 4:1.
We submit ourselves to God's will, not reluctantly, but out of fear or duty or rather:
a. Because Of All God Has Done For Us (Romans 12:1; Ephesians 4:1; Titus 3:4-7)
b. Because In Doing So We Find Fulfillment (Psalm 40:8)
c. Because Of Love ( John 14:15; 1 John 5:3)
FRUIT OF THE KINGDOM
1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 - as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, 12 that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.
2 Thessalonians 1:5 - which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer;
In Mathew 21:43, Jesus said that the Kingdom would belong to those who "produce its fruit." The fruit of the Kingdom is explained in a number of scriptures.
• Love, joy, peace (Galatians 5:22, 23)
• Goodness, righteousness, truth (Ephesians 5:9; James 3:13-17)
• Righteousness, peace, joy (Romans 14:17; Hebrews 12:11)
Since we are created by God, we were also made for His kingdom and its lifestyle. The fruit of that kingdom is simply the natural outworking of the miracle of rebirth that the Holy Spirit has performed in us (see Galatians 5:22).
Our responsibility as citizens of God's Kingdom is to live like the people we now are.
Colossians 1:10 - that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
Dear Friends, let our outward lives that people see bring credit to our Master's name and bring joy to His heart.
Allow me to end here. May God bless you all.
Let us pray: Lord, thank you for teaching us today about Kingdom living. Help us to submit our lives to the service of others, just as Jesus did. We commit ourselves to being willing, joyful servants of Christ and others. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Yahweh, that’s how I did it!
In His covenant I’ve already won!
Happy Mothers Day, I want to remind all Mother is a noun which is also a verb which requires action.
According to the Bible, the role of a mother is to love and care for her children. She is to teach and train, nurture and discipline. A godly mother is to model godly living for her children and take care of her home. She is also to care for and help her husband.
Mothers play an important role in the Bible. We see courageous mothers in the Bible, such as Jochebed, who thoughtfully developed a plan to save Moses; Hannah, who begged God for a son, only to give Samuel back to God; and Sarah, who waited years and years to bear the long-promised Isaac. Of course, we can’t forget about Mary, the woman favored by God to birth Jesus the Messiah!
The Bible also talks about what a blessing it is to be a mother along with the many roles and tasks a mother is called to do. While motherhood may be intimidating, especially at times, as Christians we have the Holy Spirit to help and guide us along the way. As we lean into Jesus, He changes us into amazing mothers and women of God. Just take a deep breath. We have God on our side!
1. A good mother will keep Christ first
It’s so easy to get distracted by culture or by your own selfish desires. However, you are commanded to love God with all your heart, soul, strength, and might. This world is temporary, but what you do for God is eternal. Keep that in mind.
Prayer to be a Good Mother
You will not become a good mother overnight, but as you grow in your walk with God and seek His plan for you, you will grow more into the good mother He wants you to be. In the meantime, be open to God’s work in your life. Also, take the time to pray and ask His help in becoming a good mom. God wants to hear from you and He wants to help you.
“Dear Lord, sometimes I wonder if I can ever even really be a good mother. I feel like a mess up all the time, but then I remember that this is what You have called me to be. Since You’ve called me to be a mother, You will give me what I need to do this well and for Your glory. Help me to always remember what a blessing my children truly are. Give me words of wisdom and kindness on my tongue. Please guide me to train my children in Your ways. May I honor and glorify You as a mom. Amen.”

Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living
Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 9:6-9:(KJV):
6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.
7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Thought for the Day
Verse 6 - Scripture uses the word "fool" to describe those who lack moral reason and righteousness. Because the foolish are rebels, the Lord tells us to forsake foolish people and their ways, and to follow Him in understanding.
Verses 7-8 - If we try to correct a scornful man, he will hate us for reproving him. He will reject our advice and turn on us; hurling a deluge of hateful words and abuse. This is also true of the wicked man. Scorners, mockers, and scoffers are prideful and impudent, and therefore not teachable. They resent anyone telling them what to do. They will try to humiliate anyone who tells them the truth or tries to correct them.
Because they are not ready to hear correction or repent, the best way to deal with scorners is to pray for them until the Lord softens their hearts. We need discernment to know when it is wise to share the truth in love and when it is best to keep quiet and pray. Only God knows when a person is ready to hear. We need to remember this in witnessing to people. Luke 8:11-15 likens the Word of God to seed and a person's heart to the soil in which it is planted. Sometimes the words we share with people will "plow the ground" of the heart, while at other times they will be planted like seed. Someone else may come along later and water the seed of truth we have planted in a person. Still later, the Lord may send a different person to reap the harvest when it is ready, and lead that person to Christ.
Verse 9 - A wise man is teachable. He learns from his mistakes because he does not allow pride to keep him from receiving correction. He is happy to receive a "course correction" and will love those who help him see the truth and avoid a problem. He appreciates the fact that he has gained new understanding because he has a teachable spirit. This kind of man or woman grows wiser and wiser.
Prayer for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for giving us the Bible, so that we can learn and grow in wisdom, by studying Your Words. We do appreciate it when You correct me. Thank You for giving those of us a teachable spirit. Lord, also give us discernment as to when we need to open our mouths and speak the truth to someone, and when we need to be silent and just pray. Lord, give us the holy boldness, to speak up when You tell us someone needs a Word or a prayer. I do want to let my light shine so that others might know that You are real, and that You are a loving God. I give You my life afresh today, strengthen me to be what You want me to be. I ask this in Your son Jesus' name. Amen.

ADVANCE AND ACCELERATE
Isaiah 48:6 - "....I have made you hear new things from this time. Even hidden things, and you did not know them."
The Spirit of God encourages each of us to advance -- drawing us ever closer to our Lord to move in power, and to take the Kingdom for the King! Our day is a day of swift shift; a spiritually radical revolution in our perspective is at the door. We expect God to display His mighty deeds in doing new things (Isaiah 48:6).
ADVANCE AND ACCELERATE
We are to arise, walk in dominion power, and lay a hold of the promises of God. This is not a time to be weak and waffling, but rather a time to be extremely bold and brave. We are commanded to be confident, brave, and very courageous (Joshua 1:7); the Spirit of God calls us forth to lay hold of our Christ calling and begin bearing fruit that remains for His Kingdom.
Listen, with your whole heart, the voice of the Lord is speaking; He delights to give you the Kingdom (Luke 12:32). God has promised victory! You are called to be the head and not the tail. The Holy Spirit who lives within you is greater than the spirit that is at work in the world (1 John 4:4). You are recreated and destined for victory; now is the time to shake yourself up, and declare the proclamation found in Micah 3:8, "Truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord!"
We are in the harvest of the end of the ages--when the seeds of both good and evil are coming to full fruit (Matthew 13:30). The Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and violent persons take it by force (Matthew 11:12). God is calling for us to arise and take a strong stand against the works of darkness (Jude 1-4). We are to advance in the Christ calling He has individually prepared for us.
1 Corinthians 2:4,5 - "My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God."
DRAW EVER CLOSER TO THE LORD
Join with the plea of Psalm 90:16-17, and pray that the Lord will let His works appear. We are hungry and desperate to see the works of the Lord -- we long to see the mighty acts of God. The Spirit of Truth calls us to come into the presence of the Lord.
The way is clear, and any one of us can advance higher. The invitation is extended, "Come up here" (Revelation 4:1-3), and as we answer the call to enter the door that is standing open in Heaven, we can see more clearly and hear more distinctly. This in turn equips us to advance ever deeper in the anointing, and make the most of our divine CALLING.
TURN HIS PROMISES INTO ACTION
Paul, the apostle, instructed us to walk purposefully toward one true goal (the CHRIST CALLING) He has put in our spirit) (Philippians 3:12-16). This is not a time to wander around the mountain of defeat and unbelief; we are to lay hold of the promises of God, take Him at His word, and stand firm in faith. Rather than just being content to sit and hear, we have become activators of the Word. God has destined us to walk in victory, not defeat. We are victors, not victims. We never forget that God has promised that no weapon formed against us can prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
No matter how confused and confounded we have been in the past, this is the day we can find the exit sign and end the wilderness wanderings. We begin to walk in God's purpose for our life -- seeking first to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth. We make it our aim to change the way people think. (2 Corinthians 5:9).
OUR HIGHEST GOAL--ADVANCE THE KINGDOM
Paul prayed that we would "walk worthy of the Lord,"  yielding fruit that remains and increasing in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord (Colossians 1:9-12). Our highest goal must be to advance the KING in His Kingdom. Our prayer each day must be "on earth as it is in Heaven."  Just as Christ could say, "I only do that which I see My Father doing," we must have clear focus too.
It is imperative that we continue to affirm and meditate on the scriptures that build us up in our Christ identity. By carrying out the great commission through our Christ calling we are changed into His likeness.
2 Corinthians 3:18 - "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord."

Numbers 16:41-18:32, Mark 16:1-20, Psalms 55:1-23, Proverbs 11:7
Today is the 12th day of March welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian and it is wonderful to be here with you today as we greet a brand-new week. We throw open the threshold and get to walk into it together and we get to the other side of the threshold and look out over this vista that become this week and realize we’re at the beginning. It’s a fresh start and we can make of this week what we choose. And let us…let us choose wisdom. Let us choose to walk with God as we walk through this week. And one of the ways that we do that is come together around the Global Campfire and allow the Scriptures to continue to speak into our lives. And, so, let's dive in. This week we will read from the New Revised Standard version, the updated edition. Numbers chapter 16 verse 41 through 18 verse 32.
Prayer:
Father, we thank you for your word and we thank you for this brand-new shiny week that we have stepped into together. And we thank you that it's out in front of us and we thank you that we have a fresh start and that our thoughts, words, and deeds will tell the story of this week. And it is our desire that it be a love story, a love story walking with you and enjoying the week together. And, so, even as we conclude the gospel of Mark today and reach the halfway point in the Gospels, we invite your Holy Spirit to lead us as we move into the gospel of Luke and spend the remainder of the week in it. Lead us into all truth, we pray. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we ask. Amen.
Community Prayer and Praise:
Hello everyone, it’s Soaring on Eagles Wings from Canada. Abba Father, I bring to You David from Kansas. You know everything about him, his brain injury which is now causing him anxiety and panic attacks and he's also very involved in the church ministry. You see him. You understand what he's going through. I pray that Your peace like a river will throw flow his body, that the panic attacks will cease in the name of Jesus the Christ, and he will continue to flourish in his church doing what You have called him to do. Here his prayer. Here our prayers for him and answer I pray. I also think of Tyler from Kentucky. Father he's been released from jail. His marriage now isn't going well because his wife wants out of it. Abba You’re the only one that can intervene in that relationship and restore the brokenness. O God speak to both of them individually and show them how they can turn things around. Speak to them collectively so that they are willing to reach out to each other and let not anything __. This marriage needs healing Lord. You are the one who ordained it. And, so, I pray that the marriage will be healed in the…
Good afternoon DAB community this is Wind and Water from Vancouver WA and I want to give a special shout out to Rosie AKA Great to be Free in Jesus. I really appreciate the way that you pray for all of our children and grandchildren and family members. Every time I hear you pray that’s your prayer and I'm so thankful for you doing that because that's my deepest prayer, is for my family and for my children and for my grandchildren. And I just wanna echo that prayer with you and thank you for…for being so considerate of all of the children and grandchildren and families out there. Father, I thank You for Rose AKA Great to be Free and Jesus. I thank You for her heart. And Father I do also want to lift up our children and grandchildren and sisters and brothers and our entire families Father. I just pray for pure hearts, for humility, for…for them being drawn to You just because of who You are and for them to see that and to understand that and to realize that and to be drawn to that. Thank You, Father, so much for the word. Thank You for Brian and his family the minister so richly. Thank You for all of our brothers and sisters across the globe in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
Good morning DAB family this is The Kept One this prayer is for Winnie. Winnie, I think you called in. You talked about your nephew losing his wife sometime back and he was left to raise three kids and…and raising these kids it seems like he has abandoned them. I think you said your niece, your sister, and your parents who are elderly have stepped in to try to take care of these three kids. And again it seems like he…even though he's grieving it seems like he's abandoned the kids. But I just wanted to lift up your family and lift up your nephew who lost his wife. Father God, in Your word You said in psalms 34:18 it says the Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Father. we lift up Winnies nephew Lord God. It sounds like his spirit has been crushed Lord God. It sounds like his wife was the heavy lifter in the family and now it seems like he has to carry that burden. Father help him carry that burden Lord God. In the process as he continues to grieve Father, I pray for Your mercy I pray for Your strength Lord God. I pray that You send the Comforter that You promised that You would send word God. So, I pray for his comfort right now Lord God. I pray that the family comes together. Strengthen the entire family Lord God to find a better way Lord God to take care of these kids, that they'll rally together for the sake of the kids and keep it in mind that the nephew has lost his rib. This I pray in Your son Jesus’ name. Amen. Be blessed everyone.
Hi this is Delights in Me and I just wanna say to Manita from Lombard I so appreciate when you call. It's been pretty neat to watch you grow in community with the DAB. I don't think you were much of a caller before a couple of years ago, but I know you've listened for a really long time. But I know that you've been through a divorce and you are married to a pastor. I'm a pastor's daughter and I just want to say even though you're no longer the pastor's wife you still have that calling. You still have that heart, you still have the gift of being a pastor's wife, which is such an important role. And I encourage you to continue on with that. Here in our community, you…you have such a heart for the flock of the shepherd and you're very comforting and soothing like a like a mom. So, I appreciate that, and I bless you. Keep calling. Love you. Bye.
Hi DAB family Renee Losove here, Reborn and Saved in French and AKA Kathleen in Illinois. I am calling in because I just listened on March 8th, and I've heard a prayer request from Winnie. Add Lord it just broke my heart. She said that her nephew had called in a while back about his…his wife who had died and he is raising two daughters and a…and another baby it sounds like. And it sounds like every…people in the family have stepped up, Winnie has stepped up and has the kids on weekends and her parents who are in their 80s are helping take care of the baby during the week and the…she had mentioned the children also basically sleeping…having no…no place to sleep or just sleeping on the couch and on the floor. This is…this is not…this is not acceptable is it family? We have to pray. Let's pray right now about this family. Lord Jesus, I lift up Winnie to You. I thank You that she brought this to our attention, and I pray for her nephew, and I pray for these kids and for her. God bless her, her parents who are in their 80s who are trying to help. Oh, dear God…dear God I pray that this can be brought to the attention of a…of a local church that can help, that can…that there will be godly people who will step in and help this young man who has lost his wife, he was then evicted from his home. I mean how much...
Hi DAB family it's rich from Exeter UK here calling in today after listening to the 7th of March episode to pray for David from Kansas who is…has suffered a head injury and has as a result panic attacks, and fear and anxiety. Lord Jesus, I lift David up to You and I pray that You'll fill him with Your peace and Your love, Your deep Shalom. Father, in the uncertainty of what this head injury might result in we pray that You would bring healing into that situation Father God. We pray that You would heal his head, that You would make him whole again, physically well but also Father that You would fill him with Your love and Your peace. We pray particularly for those times when just at the head knowledge that You love him amongst the times of panic when he forgets all that Father. I pray that at that point he would experience Your deep Shalom, Your deep peace. We lift him up to You and thank You for him. Amen.

God is seeking faith and obedience Matthew 18:20 King James Version 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
On Wednesday, February 8, students and faculty gathered for a chapel service at Asbury University. The Holy Spirit showed up and the meeting is still going on!
Once get focus off sadly watch it come to a close
PRAY ONWARD SOLIDER ONWARD
Times of darkness have preceded moves of God since biblical times. Evil and deception did thrive, and spiritual decline was abundant; God’s people were in compromise, causing many to repent for the sins of their nation and to call upon the Lord.
Consider the showdown between Elijah and the prophets of Baal. What was the spiritual climate of the nation at that time? (see 1 Kings 18).
What about the Book of Acts? Peter and a few disciples were hiding in an upper room, after which Peter preached out in the open with great boldness (see Acts 2).
Does any of this seem like America today? It’s easy to toss up your hands in defeat and give in to gloom and doom, but these are the very conditions that cause people to cry out to God.
When people awaken to the truth that Jesus is the only One who can satisfy, revival is near. When there is true repentance and people call upon the name of Jesus to save, revival is near. When people become so dissatisfied with the moral decay and evil in the nation that they rise up and confront it, revival is near. Some regions are already seeing this happen.
Do you want to see this in your city?
Keep praying. If your church has prayer meetings, show up with expectation. Prayer is the catalyst and sustainer of every revival. If your church doesn’t have prayer meetings, pray for your church. If you don’t have a church, find one and get connected.
Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere (Ephesians 6:18 NLT).
Pray for your pastors, your leaders, and their families. Standing for righteousness’ sake will put targets on them. They need your prayers and covering. Pray for protection, encouragement, and wisdom. They are at the forefront of what God is doing.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5–6).
When God moves, expect opposition. The devil will stir up trouble wherever he can to distract from what God is doing. This can come in the form of religious opposition, persecution, slander, accusation, and counterfeits. Don’t take the bait.
Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8 NIV).
Avoid division and foolish quarrels. A divided church will not stand. Why win the argument when you can win a soul instead?
Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace (Ephesians 4:3 NLT).
Don’t sit back and be a spectator, be active. Share Jesus with someone today.
Sing to the Lord; praise his name. Each day proclaim the good news that he saves. Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does (Psalm 96:2–3 NLT).
Keep It Christ-Centered
Though we are seeing glimpses of revival, we are still in the last days. We are warned in Scripture about what to expect (see 1 Timothy 4:1–2; 2 Timothy 3:1–5; Matthew 24:4–13; 2 Peter 3:3–4).
What we see happening in this nation shouldn’t catch us by surprise. We must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus at all times.
Jesus said: “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself” (John 12:32).
Let’s exalt Jesus over our homes, over our cities, over this nation. Let’s exalt Jesus over everything. Let’s pray:

Community Prayer Line
Hey y'all, hey, it's Simone in Texas calling. This message is for Diana in Florida. For some reason I couldn't get into my DAB app for two days. I don't know what was going on, but I finally got in this morning and I'm catching up on the last two days. Um, let's pray. Our most gracious, wonderful and loving, Father, we thank you, Lord God, for the grace, the grace, and a new day your mercies, For a new day your everlasting love. When this morning I want to lift up my sister Diane In Florida, to you, Father God, I know exactly what she's feeling. I know exactly where she is, and I know her pain. It is all too familiar to be married to a narcissist. And in my case, with a victim mentality, everything was always About him, and never about the marriage that I asked that you would bring her comfort and peace during this time. I ask that you would give her the wisdom, the knowledge and the understanding as she walks through this process. God ask that she will give her peace in your heart. In her heart I pray that you will give her A peace that surpasses all understanding and God, I just thank you, even now that you are making every crooked path straight. I pray that you will help them to be able to come to a commonplace in a common ground via the Holy Spirit, because that's the only way it can be done. That you will just reach in and do surgery on her husband's heart, touch his heart touches mind and turn him towards you and give him a willingness to want to restore the marriage. God, we just thank you for being great and mighty and knowing you can do all things but fail in Jesus name.
Salutations, my DABC family. It's his little songbird from Alberta, Canada, and I had called in quite some time ago asking for prayer for my sister-in-law, Wanda. She had been taken to the hospital for emergency surgery on her bowels Or her intestines, because they they twisted on her. And it was.Quite serious and she's been suffering with Crohn's all her life. Well Today is October 6th. And my brother's last day at work and and now he's retiring and she's still in the hospital. Oh, my  family.Could you please? Sorry. Could you please join me in lifting her up and asking Lord for For her healing. They still have one daughter at home out of four children. And We just want to see her home. We want to see her better. so if you would join me in this
AKA Christian me I am.Calling in this prayer request for Diane in Florida. This is for your husband. For you to to pray for your husband. My God, in your infinite wisdom, I come to you with a humble heart seeking your divine intervention. For my husband, who is struggling with narcissism, you know the depth of his soul and the pain that he carries. Mayor loves. Surround him and guide him through this journey of transformation. Lord, I praise you for your beautiful Quality The beautiful qualities in my husband. You have gifted him with charisma, confidence, and strong presence. Let these qualities be used for your glory and to serve others with love and compassion. In the name of Jesus, I asked for the armor of God to be placed upon my husband. May he be protected with the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, The Belt of Truth, The Shoes of Peace. The Shield of Faith. The Sword of the Spirit. Let this armor equip him to stand against the temptations of this world. Father, I pray that you will soften his heart so that he may be more receptive to the needs of others. Replace this self focus with the spirit of empathy and the generosity. Guide him to recognize the value in you and not In the admiration of others, teach my husband Lord to surrender his pride and ego to you. May he learn the true worth comes from following you and your will and embracing your grace. Give him the strength to let go of self-centered thoughts and seek your guidance in all aspects of life. Heavenly Father I trust. In your power to heal and transform, I am grateful for your loving hand that is always guiding us. Thank you for working with my husband and for the beautiful person he's becoming through your grace. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.

Rapture and Second Coming of Christ Scripture Versesġ Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.Ģ In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. Scripture Verses for Meditation About the Rapture and the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus ChristĮphesians 3:8-11 King James Version (KJV)Ĩ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ ĩ And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:ġ0 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,ġ1 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:ġ Corinthians 15:50-53 King James Version (KJV) – The Raptureĥ0 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.ĥ1 Behold, I shew you a mystery We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,ĥ2 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.ĥ3 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. A faith relationship with God the Father is based on the various expressions mentioned above. We can always come to our heavenly Father expressing our hurts, disappointments, joys, moods, failures, triumphs, challenges, and deepest needs. Prayer is a necessity in the exchange of one’s heart with God the Father. A relationship with our heavenly Father cannot exist with communication without prayer. Sincere prayer from the heart should bring one to a better understanding of the heart of God the Father. True prayer is confidence, faith and trust in God … that is fasting, praying and rejoicing instead of complaining. (See “Moments of Meditation” on our website at posted July 2018 for a review.) Will He find us watching and praying upon His return in the air. In the article titled “The Rapture is at the Door!! Are You Ready?” gives a resounding alarm to watch and pray for the Lord’s return in the air for His bride “The Church” is near. The Lord Jesus Christ will return for the body of Christ “The Church” and this rest upon the sovereign Word of God. There is no doubt regarding the faithfulness of the Son of Man. The question is not answered by the Lord for He leaves it as an open question. For He says, “However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” (Luke 8:18). The Lord Jesus Christ is coming again for His bride the Church without spots or wrinkles. The Lord our God who is eternally will eliminate time and space and those in Christ will have an eternal relationship with the Lord our God forever. The born-again believers who now live in time and space will live eternally. Those born of the water and of the Spirit will live eternally with the Lord our God in His kingdom (Daniel 7:18 27 Revelation 22:5). On the other hand, those not born of the water and of the Spirit will face an eternity in punishment. The Bible says that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is one God that exist eternally (Exodus 3:14 Psalm 90:2 Revelation 4 15:7 Isaiah 9:6 John 1:103, 18 Hebrews 13:8). Isaiah 37:26 and Titus 1:3 says the Lord promised that what He said generations ago would be fulfilled. Only the Lord knows the exact times and seasons for His fulfillment (Acts 1:7 1 Thessalonians 5:1). The Lord controls the ultimate fulfillment of time and has sovereign control to bring His promises to pass. The Lord our God is in control of the end times and the future.
