not me without an HBO subscription watching reactions over HotD like: [sips tea in historiography]
#it is very cringe how romanticized daemon grooming rhaenyra is by fans but the book fans did that first#house velaryon being black is very cool and gives me more hc about how the targs specifically were bred by valryian blood sorcerers#i wonder whether it was just the targs who were genetically experimented with dragon splicing or if they were only one of many houses#but the real horror comes from knowing that the first test subjects would have been the enslaved ancestors of braavosi#i can barely blame the citadel and the hightowers for conspiring against targs and dragons#the field of fire is enough justification to be anti-targ#anyone nostalgic over old valyria's glory days needs to be removed from power#imagine that awkward moment where the citadel has to admit they need advice from dorne re: flying nuke disarmament
