there is nothing more tragic than the lack of individual cooking item sprites in no man's sky. you can't tell me that Cream Buns and Esophageal Surprise look the same

at least some of the more interesting ones get a different sprite from the normal(ish) ones but like. please i desperately need to know what Haunted Chocolate Dreams, Cake of Burning Dread, and Unbound Monstrosity look like. because i think they'd look delicious and maybe even taste delicious if real

#void screaming #mostly the haunted chocolate dreams.#i dont CARE that one of the ingredients is the egg of an unnatural abomination and exudes an aura of pure terror i want to eat the cupcake #i know its a cupcake based on the sprite category. but what does it Look Like #also why do almost all the cooking items have the same description. what does it taste like please #this game lets you cook with abyssal horror eyeballs and glass seeds and literal metal and yet it wont tell you how your endeavors taste :(#i do absolutely adore the cooking in this game i promise #its just.#i am hyperfixated specifically on the cooking in this game and there is simply not enough Cooking Lore /hj #this game is amazing at lore. cooking is realistically only a very very small part of the game and its amazing how extensive it is #but i will now proceed to make up my own additions and possibly draw individual images for some of the foods. because they deserve it #in what other game can you swap out one ingredient and go from Fruity Pudding to Jellied Fur Tart #no mans sky #soulfire plays no mans sky
