tbh i can't fault non-Americans for getting our geography wrong because i constantly mess it up
#i always forget that ohio and kentucky border each other or minnesota is right next to canada#i always think nebraska is where nevada is on the map#i only know the east coast so well because i live here#and tbh anything outside new england is still pretty hazy#and i forget that maine is right there#like its about the same distance for us to drive to hampton beach new hampshire#that it is to drive to old orchard beach maine#and its the same distance for us to drive to NYC as it is to drive into quebec canada#its a big country! is what i'm saying#and geography is important ofc but on average i don't think much about it#unless i'm plotting something i'm writing yknow?
