having very complicated feelings about asexuality and queer rep and mainstream queer media being sanitized but i cannot for the life of me articulate it and it’s pissing me off

#ivy.txt #when you boil it down i think it’s essentially:#i agree with the sentiment that most queer rep in media is sanitized and boring and what have you #but also it sucks to realize that as an asexual person i would basically get lumped in with that #if i tried to tell a story based on my experiences.#i am essentially viewed as sanitized as a real living breathing person and that makes me feel like. actually ill #and also a little homicidal.#anyway.
