Ooh hey, a rare Carol question! She has her own blog that's still under construction and intended to be a companion blog to this one, so I'm completely fine with answering questions about Carol on here. ^^
When Dess and Noelle were young and small enough to sleep in their parents' bed, Carol gave them belly and back rubs to soothe them to sleep. They were so tiny. It was hard for her to believe that such perfect little people came from her.
When the girls got old and brave enough to sleep in their own rooms -- and it was her turn to put them to bed -- the process of trial-and-error proved that Dess liked having lullabies sung to her and Noelle preferred praying with her mother before falling asleep.

A super-recent retcon (yayy, found the word!) is that Rudy doesn't speak French. You can find him saying something in the language in a fairly recent RP if you want to take a gander... XD I decided to give the bilingualism to Carol instead. It fits her more, since I gave her the French maiden name, "Belle" for the "Carol of the Bells" wordplay. A funny way to offset her husband being Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. XD

Date: How often does your muse get a date?
Starting a Family Headcanon Asks!
Early in Rudy and Carol's parenthood, it was easier for them to make time in the evening after the kids were in bed for a simple stay-at-home couples' time.
As for full-blown date nights (the ones where they pull all the stops: get dressed up, have a nice evening out, la dee dah fancy stuff, etc.), it helps when you have besties next door who are also parents and can coordinate play-dates to benefit the kids' socialization... and maybe even some lovey-dovey time with each parent's respective spouses.
Regardless, the 3-way Venn diagram of 'Rudy's free time,' 'Carol's free time,' and 'play-date is at the Dreemurr household' is shaped like half an almond. They'd be really lucky if they can fit in a date night once every six months.

i’d be interested in seeing how rudy would handle finding noelle in her room crying over dess’ disappearance… how would he react and comfort her? (for the ask game)

Ohhhhh.... that's the angst I live for... my HEART...!!
I'd imagine Noelle wiping her tears away and hiding her wavering voice so her dad doesn't know how much she had been crying. Rudy would try to distract her with the game they've been playing together, at first. However, Noelle can't hold back how much she misses Dess, and just spirals to her sobbing, making Rudy tear up, too.
Rudy would feel a bit lost in comforting her, a painful reminding that he himself hasn't figured out how to comfort his own heart about it. But, he'll make a sincere attempt by talking about what he misses about Dess and encouraging Noelle to do the same. They'd share a genuine laugh at how bright her spirit is (was).
And Rudy admitting to Noelle that he and her mother miss Dess every. single. day since she left... even on days he looks like he's all smiles and Carol looks well put-together. He'd tell Noelle if there are days she wants to talk about it, or just be left alone to feel her feelings, she can tell him and he'll be there to support her, no matter what.
Rudy leaves the conversation with the realization that just "smiling and pulling through" (and, in Carol's case, burying herself in work) instead of confronting their grief head-on, is taking a toll on their daughter.
They must do something about it.

Rudy's not the hopeless romantic type who shouts about everything he'll do for his lover up and down the hills... but he is dedicated. He'll absolutely put his needs aside to support his partner in pursuing whatever they want.
You see it in Rudy's relationship with Carol; how he supported her run for mayor every step of the way -- leading her campaigns, running BBQs to spread the word, visiting door-to-door -- essentially helping with her "image problem."
It's also in his relationship with Undertale Asgore, who'd accept he has duties and wait for him to visit, all while wishing they could have it better... but absolutely drawing the line because one such "duty" (*coughcough* stabby stabby) is too brutal to have his children to be around it.

Yep. One of Rudy's love languages is physical touch, but it doesn't mean he goes overboard with the PDA. Besides hand-holding and wrapping his arm around his partner’s waist, he may even be caught doing the oh-so scandalous display of... leaning his (anterless) head on his partner's shoulder!
GASP! Get a ROOM, you two! /sarcasm
Oh yeah, and he'll smooch his partner under the mistletoe, citing "Mistletoe Law."
In private, he’s not overly cuddly, but he likes expressing his affection with kisses and caresses. Little things, like stroking their cheek, brushing their hair out of their face, and squeezing and rubbing his thumb over his partner’s knuckle while holding their hand.

1. Who makes the first move and how?
Asgore would drop hints that he likes Rudy, but Rudy would be the one most forthright about his intentions with a very big smooch.
5. Who says ‘I love you’ first?
I think Asgore and Rudy would think, "Golly/Goshdarn, I love this man" around the same time. But Asgore would be the one to say it out loud first (the big ol' softy!), and Rudy would reply with "I was thinkin' the same thing, big guy! HAHAHA!"
9. What is the most embarrassing thing they have done in front of each other?
They've been buddies for so long that they've seen each other do LOTS of embarrassing things! If you asked Asgore, he'd say it was something silly like him farting in front of Rudy. XD But Rudy will think Gorey talking to his flowers is the most embarrassing (but charming at the same time!).
As for Rudy, he's pretty good at keeping his cool when something doesn't go his way. Buuuuut... he wasn't able to play off when he accidentally stepped on black ice, losing his footing and doing the splits so hard his pants tore down the middle!
11. What do they hide from one another?
Ooh, that's tricky. The previous answers can apply to both Undertale and Deltarune universes, but this is where the answers diverge. They'd probably hide something innocuous from each other. Like... Deltarune Rudy purposely ordering a bunch of bouquets for random citizens in town and pay it anonymously, just so he can help Gorey keep his business afloat. Or Asgore hiding his superhero comics on top of his TV when Rudy comes to visit (because he'd tease the big guy relentlessly if he found out).
Undertale is more serious, because their circumstances are waaay different. Rudy would hide wishing Gorey could live in the cottage full-time like a real family (I explained more in this post). And Asgore, well... he's hiding how deep the pain he's feeling having to take SOULs from humans because he'd want his boyfriend to have hope for the future, too.

Yes, I still have the asks for this meme in my inbox...
Since you and I both have Undertale Asgorudy on lock, I got an angsty idea: >:)
Rudy has a wish. In his heart of hearts, he'd like Asgore to live with him and his kids in his Snowdin cottage full-time, like real husbands raising a family... not just having him over for visits. But Rudy knows that's impossible given Gorey's... duties; his wish means Asgore would ostensibly abandon his duties as king (i.e., Toriel leaving to the Ruins), thus dooming Monsterkind to stay underground forever, etc. Rudy and his daughters moving to New Home is off the table, because the girls’ chances of seeing their lovable Papa Gorey looking frightening with a trident is a possibility, among other reasons...
Of course, the reindeer keeps the wish to himself, knowing that telling Asgore will make him feel miserable and just... hoping that seeing the sun someday means they’ll have a happy ending. But... hints start to drop that Gorey isn’t around the reindeer family enough. And that Rudy would always want him near.
And, well... not sure what else would unfold after that. What do you think?

😨 - What is the most shocking thing that has happened to you while roleplaying?
To me OOC, and not toward my character? Hmm... I haven't experienced anything "shocking" with a negative connotation. More like an "in hindsight, I can't believe I used to do that" sort of way...
Back when I started RPing, I did chatrooms with bare-bones replies with other RPers (nowhere near how I write these days!). I had an RP partner living on the opposite side of the world. He was only available during his day and late at night for me. I was so invested in the one-on-one story he planned out for us, I stayed up for it, only to nap between my replies to him. We completed the story by morning.
I can't imagine doing that anymore, what with my my ass being older and needing my rest... -.-;;;;
