Hotmodding
So, I was making some UI changes to my animation tool, as I was getting to the adding of some more functionality. I went to the compiler to test it out before adding messages to the new elements, only to realize I had forgotten to close the program before making those changes.
It didn’t complain, and I got to test what I wanted without rebooting. It makes sense given how I’ve set things up, but it kind of makes me wonder about the potential applications of “hotmodding” or changing game files while the game is running within my engine. That is definitely a potential way to cheat online if I’m not careful, but that’s something I already knew.
