Felix was not excited for the office party tonight. He liked his employees and colleagues and superiors but hated them being around open bars. There were usually too many antics for his enjoyment when it came to groups of people and unlimited alcohol. He enjoyed an antic or hijink every once in a while but wasn’t in the mood tonight. Olivia made him wear a diaper to the party “your body and alcohol just dont mix!” Is what she said. He figured he’d drown his embarrassment in whiskey or wine but had built up an extreme tolerance. His immortal status caused him to build up tolerance to the point that he could only get tipsy off the amount that would kill a horse. He was cut off after his 10th drink.

He was giving a speech to the party, it was going fairly smoothly until someone came up behind him. Before he could process what was happening, his pants were around his ankles, soiled diaper on display to the whole party.

Felix has been to fair share of office parties and has seen near every possible scenario one could bear witness to (people making out in jacket room, very deep stories slurred that won't be remembered tomorrow, someone setting a trash bin on fire-) so, nowadays he enjoys when these events go as smooth an quickly as possible

Especially since he's been padded up, something Olli promises literally no one will notice, they'll be far too deep in the bottle to even care for anything past the weird cheese cubes. Because unlike him, they can get drunk, let loose.

There are benefits he supposes, one being that he doesn't have to worry about the long lines for the washrooms and that any chair is significantly more comfortable.

Of course, since Felix has been in the company for so long (longer than the company's actual conception but, Felix won't open that can of worms) some of the superiors want him to give a little speech, end the nights mingling

Which, Felix is very glad to do if that means he can slip out afterwards. Not that he hates mingling, he just has some things to take care of-

He's giving his speech, mostly giving thanks to everyones hard work and dedication to their cause, hopes for the future, whatever will have the folks vaugly listen to. But,,,he notices some are looking past him which, whatever, god knows what intrigues an intoxicated person.

That's Felix's thought pattern until he feels the cold draft on his bare legs and the room going silent as Felix is standing up front,,,slacks around his ankles and a very sodden nappy wrapped around his hips, right on display for all as the very drunk colleague behind Felix staggers off a couple feet before konking out.

Everything is going very slow, Felix can feel his face burning a heat hotter than lava, tears of humiliation pricking his eyes as he's scrambling to pull his slacks back up before everyone clues into what they're witnessed to-

Maybe there is a God because Olli comes to the rescue, able to usher Felix to the side- thankfully everyone sorta just goes back to their conversations and the music.

Felix refuses to look anywhere but the floor.

"May I leave now?"

Olli presses her lips together, genuinely feeling bad for the man, knowing that certainly hadn't been a scenario foreseen.

"Yes, of course," she pauses for a moment as she's pulling on her jacket and grabbing her bag, holding it out a bit, "But, I am changing you before I drop you off, you and I,,,and everyone know that's fit to burst."

Felix mumbles something under his breath before nodding, "Washroom in the waiting room?"

The way you write slice of life but still fill it to the brim with tension and intrigue is such a talent!
