we really need more sitcoms with sapphic slow burn/will-they-won't they couples. not just fun, lesbian characters who date around endlessly with no long-term pairing to get invested in or instantly get together as soon as they meet. where is the tension. where is the build-up. where is the mutual pining. where is the sapphic jake/amy.

#honestly the only genuinely good one I can think of is alicia/leighton from tslocg and that's already getting cut short with renee's career #and brittana for sure if you count glee as a sitcom #no wonder we had to turn to genre shows for slowburns #at least sci-fi fantasy shows are good about drawing things out #the people NEED a workplace romance. abbott has reminded me of how vital it is.#.txt
