I'm having some more thoughts about Teba and Dorephan so why not scream about all of them out loud

So about Teba, his injury from Vah Medoh is already shown to have healed in BotW so if his absence in TotK is related to an injury, it must be caused by something much more recent. Vah Medoh can't be the culprit here, it must be something else could be that ice reaper leviathan we saw in the trailer, Teba would absolutely try to fight that thing

The happiest possibility is that he's the new Rito chief and busy with those duties, so Tulin steps in to help Link on the field while his dad helps with rebuilding Hyrule and all the other jazz... And of course there's the possibility of Nintendo dropping a bridge on him. When thinking of it from a writer's perspective, he's really the only one of the new champions they could actually kill off. People love him enough to feel sad if something happened to him, but there wouldn't be an angry mob uproar like there could be if it was Riju or Sidon - he's on that perfect sweet spot, and my god does it hurt considering how I've seen a theory about the tears only manifesting after something sorrowful has happened please don't kill the bird dad ok

About Dorephan... If he's retired, probably the best time he could've done it would've been before Ganondorf showed up... Which could mean that it's possible that Sidon is already a king before anything bad happens, he just doesn't wear the crown at times because idk. Of course Dorephan could kick the bucket, but if he doesn't it makes me wonder when and how does Sidon become king. Could it be because they think Dorephan is dying/could die but then he doesn't? What could lead into situation like this? Why are they tugging my heartstrings and bullying my braincells like this
