So I met this lovely man on Brick Lane and I will never forget the encounter or his beautiful book with all his precious writing. Then we talked about psychosis and I told him that I understood what he was referring to and I calmly told him that when I had been psychotic I had run naked in the street and he said, 'I fucking wish I had seen that', and we both burst out laughing. When I was in London recently I was harassed by a homeless man, it was obvious he had mental health problems, he wanted money and I didn't have any loose change, so he demanded that I go to a cashpoint and take out 20 quid when I refused he called me a 'horrible cunt.' It was not nice later I saw him again going into his hostel. We clocked eyes but I said nothing. I can't help everyone but I do care, very deeply.
