Bagan Beginning is a Myanmar BL and I love it so much. This whole show was a wild ride and I cannot recommend it enough. It's a soap opera BL that only makes sense part of the time but it's glorious and the ending turns out sweet as pie and it's the only show where the person who seemed like a second lead turned out to be the main romance! @absolutebl Look, there's no budget and it only makes a bit of sense but it's got such a sweet ending and the whole thing is just a work of heart.

It's second lead syndrome all the way down and I am dying I love them together so much, please, why is this not the main pairing? But also it's beautiful. It's haunting. Best friends, one in love with the other who has agreed to marry because his homophobic mother found out he's in love with said best friend and filial piety and it's just heartbreaking and beautiful and lovely beyond words.
