I’m always running on a baseline of Transformers brainrot and recently picked up some hlvrai brainrot, so of course the two brainrots have merged into the beginnings of a Transformers/hlvrai au. I’m currently trying to decided which scenario would be funnier:

One Disgruntled Human Man trying to herd three Giant Alien Robots through a facility in which Everything Has Gone To Shit, while fighting off more giant alien robots and also completely unrelated regular-sized aliens

OR

One Giant Alien Robot trying to lead three alarmingly durable humans through a facility in which Everything Has Gone To Shit, while fighting off The Entire US Military and also completely unrelated regular-sized aliens.

(1st scenario: Gordon –> Human; Coomer, Bubby, Tommy –> Cybertronian; Military –> Cybertronian. 2nd scenario: Gordon –> Cybertronian; Coomer, Bubby, Tommy –> Human; Military –> Human.)

Jury’s still out on what Darnold would be in each scenario.

And also Sunkist, Gman, and Benry would go unchanged bc I find that hilarious.

my au has such heavy frenrey leanings honestly I'm kind of embarrassed. they were already weird as fuck in canon when they hated each other and now the whole premise of the AU is for Gordon to Get Along with Benrey so it's like. can you two relax

#benrey also immediately takes a shine to gordon bc. before the test Gordon obviously tried his luck in preventing the rescas.#he didnt have high hopes it would work but. worth a tryyyyy! so benrey is escorting him to the chamber (to protect gordons passport bc #the hev suit has no pockets) and gordons trying to warn people that. hey. this test is gonna go bad. that computer literally just exploded.#there is no way this will end well. and then the test happens and he gets injured in the chamber so benry is like.#damn this is so unfair for you.... and so he kinda hovers for a while. and then again once gordon loses his hand #and gordon is like the fuck are you doing. and he cant conceptualize that benrey GENUINELY cares. yeah its bad they're so bad #also i think i may have spelt benrey both ways here on accident ive never been able to decide which to use ig LOL #phx news #hlvrai 2nd run

Thinking about my hlvrai au wherein Gordon has to do black mesa AGAIN (there's a reason, long story) and he retains his memory of the first run but the others don't. So he tries to do everything "better" (i have to perfect my run!) But he accidentally lets it slip that he essentially knows the future and Benrey will NOT leave him alone. So he employs Benrey's "im gonna reply to everything nonsensically or by saying huh? Whuh? All the time" tactic and communication between them immediately becomes fucking impossible

#theres one bit ive thought about after Gordon gets his arm chopped off. where benrey genuinely realizes gordon KNEW that would happen.#and the circumstances that cause it are different this time but still. gordon KNEW. and said NOTHING!!!#so after gordon wakes benrey is like. whats fucking wrong with you? and gordon is like ...huh. what man. i just woke up and youre yelling?#& then instead of unstoppable force (gordon) meets immovable object (benrey) its everything is so fucked (both of them)#phx news #hlvrai 2nd run

#its a '2nd run' au where gordon has to go through black mesa a second time. theres a reason but i dont wanna explain that rn #in my headcanon the res cas laser that knocks you out at the beginning hits gordon in the chest which is why the hev suit lady doesnt work.#so in the 2nd run its slightly off and it nails him right in the face. the helmet gets broken & stuck on his head #hence the scratches by the neck since they had to pry it off #myart #hlvrai 2nd run

ok tidbit from the ole au: one of my favorite things in half-life is how it forces you to watch people die in front of you without being able to do anything. RATHER NOTABLY being the elevator scene at the beginning of the game. you press the button, it falls, people die. you DONT press the button, break the glass on the door and climb through, there's a trigger that still occurs and the elevator falls and people die. this happens in the au o7 on his second run Gordon of course wants to avoid the first deaths (even accidental) on his hands so he refuses to let anyone hit the elevator button. but as soon as they climb into the shaft the elevator falls and he's forced to realize despite getting a second 'playthrough' of black mesa, he can't actually fix anything. He can't avoid the rescas, he can't save anyone, he can't even avoid losing his limbs....

#its gordons wild ride #after this he leans too hard into believing all events will be the same so when stuff ISNT he freaks out #he cant do the changes he wants BUT things will change. just without his input ! he has no control over his life SAD #phx news #hlvrai 2nd run

literally instead of actually drawing my AU I just edited the HL1 load game screen for it. that last chapter is called 'BENRY (etc.)' bc the final chapter in the original game is called nihilanth? so replace final boss name. and the run time for that save is the time of the full stream yt videos added together LMFAO. date is 4 days after the rescas date (which is apparently may 16th 200-. I chose 2003 bc there's a bit of evidence it could be . Not confirmed but I needed something ok) because there's 4 streams so. 4 science team sleepovers. 4 nights passed whatever. ANMAT chapter is there bc the AU is supposed to be like. starting the game from the beginning. I'm back in the fucking building agaaaaaain

#i wanna try doing a little intro comic to show the 'restart'. so this would be in there.... theoretically #if i ever do the comic because lord knows im bad at that #phx news #hlvrai 2nd run
