^^^ What a Christmas photo from a DEMOCRATIC official looks like.
That’s Representative-elect Hillary Scholten (D-MI-03) who flipped a seat in Western Michigan last month. Instead of a threatening pose with assault weapons, it’s a relaxed setting featuring her family and friendly-looking dog.
That area was represented by Gerald Ford in the House for over two decades before he became vice president.
Now contrast Hillary Scholten‘s message with that of Donald Trump at his failing “Truth” site. Blessedly, there’s no picture to go along with his vituperative, snarling rant.
Tumblr media
Brilliant and clairvoyant? If that were really true he would have foreseen the fallout from his dinner with Nazis.

Just gonna put it out there that my district, MI-03, is pretty darn flippable. This year we're up for a rematch between the candidates from two years ago, and it was pretty close then
Tumblr media
but now Michigan has new congressional districts drawn by an independent restricting commission (that we voted for in 2018), so we've got a real chance here!
So if you're angry right now and want a good Democrat to donate to, Hillary Scholten is a good choice!

A total of 112 Republicans and just 22 Democrats voted against this bill, with most of the Democrats opposing the legislation being from the Progressive Caucus.
