Heyo! So as some folks have noticed its gotten harder to mark blogs red on shinigami eyes. I've found some ways around it, thought I should spread the word.
Most blogs, when you pull them up on your dash, will have @(username) / (username).tumblr.com under their header. On these you can right click on the (username).tumblr.com bit and mark them as pro/anti-trans. Their urls might show up red/green on posts, possibly depending on where you view it. I think they always have a red/green outline to their profile pic, but I'm not sure.
Some blogs have turned this feature off, so under their header it will only say @(username). For these blogs, go to the circle button with the ellipsis in it. On blogs with these settings turned on, it will be next to the 'send a gift' and 'send a message' buttons. Click on the ellipsis button, and at the top it should say Archive. you can right click on that, and it will let you mark as pro/anti-trans as usual. Unfortunately, their urls won't show up red/green in posts, so in order to check you'll have to pull up the ellipsis menu.
Some blogs have Archives turned off, so the option won't appear in the ellipsis menu. I'm trying to see if I can find a way to tag them regardless, and will update the post if I do.
UPDATE: Found the setting that determines if blogs can be marked or not! Turns out if you have "enable custom theme" turned off, you can't be marked, because you dont have a (username).tumblr.com page OR an archive! If you're a trans ally and want to make sure your blog can be marked green, make sure this setting is turned on!
I found out about this setting through this post, very grateful it crossed my dash :]
Update 12/5: FANTASTIC NEWS! Tumblr appears to have unfucked itself!
As of 12/5 Shinigami Eyes appears to be working as intended on Tumblr again! Would love if someone else could corroborate on this but it seems Tumblr changed something that makes the extension work again!
