her love language is primarily acts of service, blended with some gift-giving! it's her little secret that, as a known control freak, detail-oriented person, and obsessive judger of others' habits, she loves to arrange stuff for other people. some of this stuff you'll actually never see because it's behind the scenes or it'll just seem accidental or coincidental. for example, if she's having somebody over for dinner, she always remembers what wine they like and will have it there for them. she remembers people's favorite colors, has a mental calendar of birthdays, and sends cards for every holiday. if she's out with somebody and she knows they get hayfever easily she'll put antihistamines in her purse to bring with just in case or something. stuff like that.

she never really received gifts as a child or young woman until she married francis and after him, never got gifts that were particularly personally meaningful--ella's father literally married her and put his dead wife's ring on her finger. LOL. it's the opposite of her style and just crushed her emotionally. and although she's an extremely spoiled brat, generally speaking she does have to take care of herself, there's no one else looking out for her. so it's huge to her when somebody does that for her!

yes to both ! esme absolutely adores kissing during sex so she much prefers positions where they are face-to-face, or close enough that she can sneak in some lazy kisses on the neck, cheek, etc. ( she also doesn't particularly enjoy being looked at during sex, she would much rather they be kissing her than looking at her. ) and cuddling is also a must, though I will say she tends to doze off faster than she really means to afterwards so it doesn't last super long.
