I honestly hope that anastacious does not appear in the donghua and the villain is aeternitas. Sorry but aety deserves to be his own character beyond just being an ancient spirit that possessed Anas. I love the manhwa but I think we couldn't appreciate Aety's potential because of the "cute" scenes between Anas and Jennette. Also, the whole story of Aety with Lucas is much more interesting and the few encounters between athy and aety are much more iconic and the fandom deserves to see them.

Let's hope the donghua does more justice to Aeternitas 🙏

Okay, but actually, I agree. Aeternitas was barely a character in the manhwa (Spoon didn't even draw his face properly), his whole character (who was very interesting and funny!) was sacrificed in favor of Ana's, to... let's say mixed results.

You may like Ana more (but compare him to novel! Aety, not his... nothing manhwa self), but Aeternitas is plainly the better villain, it's not even a competition. Anastasius' whole character arc was easily the messiest part of the manhwa, but I wouldn't care if it hadn't affected other characters' development in a negative way (robbing them of said development and screentime). Those characters being glaringly Aeternitas, Jennette (yes, I mean it), and even Ijekiel and Roger to a lesser extent.

Honestly, I have no idea how the donghua will approach this. He isn't mentioned in the series' summary, but neither is Aety, so who knows. In any case, I would love for Aeternitas to get more attention.
