at some point of the roadtrip, Lester bought a crusty loaf of bread at the gas station and let Meg do the first bite and she was delighted after that for 10 more minutes

My grandma came over to celebrate her birthday with us today, which was a really special thing as we weren't even sure she'd have another birthday back in August/September.

But in my grandma's typical fashion, she decided to calmly talk about her childhood growing up as a refugee in Germany over her pavolva

I guess when you make it to 83, you're allowed to reminisce about all the times you almost didn't even make it to 5

omg ty for the ask. yes i have 2 cats they're great.. at this point this picture is really old but it shows both of them

left is allan, right is lottie. lottie's grown a lot since this picture was taken, and she's gotten fluffier... they both have really cute baby meows. i'd say i sometimes meow back, but most of the time i just talk normally in response. i do meow at them when i pet them though. i mostly meow at lottie though because i like to think allan has more dignity. lottie's still the baby
