#he's so cute in this seminar#you only really see it when he's with rossi#but hes so quiet. not timid.... not quite shy (a little bit that).....#he just doesnt force himself to maintain that severe demeanor#he's reserved.. he doesn't need to be the one who speaks or maintains authority#which is why he doesnt do it with the others--he doesnt want them to see him as anything other than The Boss.#makes it easier for them#(not that it works all the time. he lets things slip. he cant help but care too deeply)#this is just a smaller less noticeable aspect of it#he's good at being the boss and he likes to have control - but its also tiring for him#the rest of it--the responsibility the hostility the commanding air--just bc he's good at it doesnt mean he's like that#(just bc he's good at being violent and cruel in interrogations doesnt mean thats who he is)#hes modest and humble--it takes effort to be anything else#and thats what he can do around rossi--bc he knew him as a subordinate before a superior#its nothing he hasnt seen already#so he's quiet. takes the backseat. he can let rossi speak first. he doesnt have to push himself#anyway.#i love it when he's like this#3x18#aaron hotchner#cm caps
