When my cat is hungry in the morning and I don’t get out of bed to him yelling he’ll go right up to me and gently touch me on the face with his front paw, tapping a few times, and it always startles the fuck out of me enough for him to actually get me out of bed

I finished the meal from last night and now I want food at 5am#I should draw this#today he was standing. back feet on the floor. one front foot holding the bed. and tapped my cheek with his other front paw#very gently and quietly. it’s kinda cute in hindsight but startling in the moment#he goes from yelling at me in a very loud whiny voice to just bapping my cheek#while he looks at me like 👁️w👁️#I appreciate him not using claws but it’s still startling#he’s a black cat with huge green-yellow eyes and usually has pretty big pupils so he just looks like 👁️ 👁️
