The game publisher/developers tinyBuild are having a massive sale!

This sale has actually been going on for a few days already- it began on April 5th. I didn't quite notice it until today though, so here we are! The sale will be ongoing until April 12th.

There's quite a large number of games that are discounted here, even beyond the ones shown here. The Party Hard series, the Hello Neighbor series, Surgeon Simulator, Not For Broadcast, Clustertruck, Lovely Planet Arcade, I Am Bread....

To reiterate, the sale doesn't end until April 12th, at approximately noon EST (time according to the email I received.) If you're looking for a new game to try out, be sure to check this sale out before it ends!

1. Andy's Apple Farm

Andy's Apple Farm is a 2021 indie horror game developed by M36games. The game was first released on Itch.io and Game Jolt on August 22, 2021, and was later released on Steam on November 26, 2021.

The story revolves around the player Beta-testing an 80's retro game created by Thomas Eastwood called Andy's Apple Farm and discovering the hidden truth in the seemingly innocent game. You play as the titular protagonist, Andy the Apple, who in Chapter 1, had his keys stolen by his friends, and he must complete minigames and earn Bonus Stickers to get them back. As the player progresses the game, they uncover dark secrets about the creator's family and a strange dark Entity that stalked them.

Watching gura play Happy Humble Burger Barn.

Whole animatronicyborg animals being evil aside, and whole simulation in a simulation by an evil scicorp aside, it is always fun seeing a fast food job being presented in a game format.

You got one braindead coworker standing around who doesn't help you which is true to life. Constantly having to go back to the freezer to get product. Cookies and pies quick baked. I don't think I've ever seen a ham patty burger, but this game has beef, chicken, and ham patties cooked on the grill. Mcdonalds used to have a grilled chicken, but they discontinued that at my local mcds when the pandemic started and no signs of them returning. The two items fried are French fries and salmon nuggets which is unique.

Each shift added a new element to do. First day was just cooking the patties and assembling the burgers. Theyre all deluxe style with lettuce, onions, pickles, cheese and tomato unless the robot customers omit something. Next days added drinks, fried, and baked. Gura failed when the fast food section implemented an emergency activity alert where you have short time to do a non-food task like plunge the toilet, catch a rat or toss the trash out. Specifically failed on catching a rat twice as she had to throw the rat away in the trash can which wasn't specified, then on tossing the trash as she took too long. Starting a Jumpstart section to feed this animatronicow an evil burger which she failed repeatedly and stopped the stream on.

I'm actually interested in how much the fast food gameplay will be advanced if she goes further in this game.

Happy's humble burger farm had a cameo/Easter egg scene in the newest hello neighbor TV show (ep 2). As someone who knows the lore for Happy's and Northbury Grove... I hate it.

Happys and northbury come from a completely nonearth world and hello neighbor is atleast based off of places on earth.

Also tinybuild using happys in the show at all just feels like they think being a publisher to any games means they can just force the real devs to let them use those games as they see fit. Because yes tinybuild is just the publisher for happys. Yes they made hello neighbor (along with dynamic pixels), but that's pretty much it.

Tinybuild is a publisher company, that's it. It seems as though they dont care about continuity between all of the games they decide to use.

...then again they do have around 40 games on steam under their name... so maybe they dont need to pay attention to the lore of their best sellers/trendiest titles....
