i hated being a teenager 99% of the time but some good memories will stay with me forever and im grateful i was allowed to be stupid
#im still stupid but now im a stupid adult#idk how i didnt get kidnapped#at the time it truly felt like things would never be worse and i would never survive#but here i am#hanging on to warm texas nights listening to moog music in a strangers car and#wrapped in nothing but a sheet on a snow day hungover with my best feiend reheating canned soup and#watching bemusedly as she dunked buttered roll after buttered roll into her too sweet coffee#my memory is so swiss cheese but i remember my first samosa and i remember the smell of the salt air and i remember the taste of my first#cigarette#i dont miss any of it at all but thats not the point
