Hi, I'm in love with your hcs about Kid Pirates (both au and not)! I wanted to ask you if you think that they would also f*ck or have romantic intercourse with each other. And if someone of them got into a serious relationship with someone outside of the crew (or gang for the au) how the other members would act around them? They will accept them immediately?

i think the Kid Pirates 100% sleep with each other. it obviously depends on each members' individual sexual preferences and who they're attracted to, but most of them have slept with each other at least once.

everyone is romantically involved with each other in some way and some of them are probably in polyamorous relationships with each other. Heat for example has something going on with Wire, Haikei and Emma. then Emma has something going on with Quincy and Gig. even the members who are in relationships with each other can sometimes be seen flirting or making out with other members (consensually of course, cheaters are not welcome). Killer is involved in a pretty serious relationship with Kid but is often spotted flirting with Hip and Bubblegum.

however, if a crew member is in a relationship and they decide with their partner they want to be purely monogamous then the entire crew respects that opinion and does not overstep the boundary. the Kid Pirates are a crew who love each other in so many different ways, that goes beyond just being coworkers. they love, trust and respect each other.

now if a crew member got into a serious relationship with someone outside of their little family (both gang au or not), i can see that person getting very mixed reactions. the Kid Pirates are a big family who are united through shared traumas of being seen as different and outcasts so it takes most of them a while to adjust to suddenly having someone new hanging out with them. some of them warm up to strangers fast (Dive, Moai, House.) and others can take ages to accept a stranger (Disc J, Mosh, Jaguar) or wait until they've felt the stranger has proven themselves (Killer, Pomp). but since they're a family, they will always prioritise trying to accept this new stranger in a fairly respective and civil way for the benefit of their fellow member. the last thing they want is to accidentally scare off someone's partner when there's no need for it.

Body modifications for Kid Pirates and fanon characters! Who's got them, who's giving them, and how was the experience? I imagine their are a couple of tattoo artists and piercers on the Victoria but who has the most interesting story either giving or receiving 🤣

these are very very good questions that you're asking, and i have so many headcanons about this

Kid Pirates who has body modifications/piercings/tattoos:

Kid - helix, industrial, orbital and lobe piercings in his ears, really wants a dick piercing

Heat - all of his stitches on his body are tattoos and has industrial and helix piercings in both ears

Emma - had a body modification done so she can have elf ears and 6 piercings in each ear, also the Kid Pirates jolly roger on her left hip

Hop - nipple and ear piercings, also a book quote tattoo above her chest

Quincy - is a trained piercer and has lip, eyebrow, bellybutton and nose piercings

UK - nose piercings and stretched earlobes from plugs which he forgets to put in

Noe - dick, tongue and ear piercings, also has a tramp-stamp tattoo of his name (he doesn't know why, he was drunk)

Gig - body modification in the form of an eye tattoo in his left eye so its a different colour (red) and tattoos of different guitars on each knuckle

Bubblegum - ear and collar bone piercings, knuckle tattoos spelling his name and a bubblegum packet

Wire - dick and tongue piercings (Wire, Haikei and Noe all got tongue piercings together) and his brothers' names tattooed on his right arm

Compo - has 1.5cm plugs in both his ears and various tattoos on both arms (including a drawing Dive made of him)

Oscar - eye tattoos on both eyes to make his pupils white

Papas - has 2cm plugs and a tattoo of a tortoise on his back

Haikei - lip and tongue piercings, is a trained tattoo artist with multiple tattoos which he designed (including a bad drawing of a dick on his actual dick) and lets Dive design him new tattoos

Moai - simple ear piercings

Reck - has the name of his old band tattooed on his upper back

Boogie - ear and collarbone piercings and a small tattoo of the Kid Pirates' jolly roger on his right shoulder

Jaguar - has a large tattoo of a panda playing the guitar on his left thigh and his old boxing name tattooed across his collarbone

Kid Pirates who don't have any of the above:

Dive - hasn't expressed an interest in piercings yet, is also forbidden from getting tattoos or changing her body until she's at least 16

Hip - afraid of needles but wants ear piercings or a small tattoo of a dragonfly soon

House - as the crew's doctor, she has dealt with too many horror stories to want anything done beyond ear piercings

Killer - just isn't interested, but came to this decision by also witnessing most of these horror stories

Mosh - hasn't gotten around to getting anything done yet

Pomp - thinks he already looks cool enough and that he's too old to do modify his body with anything

who has the most interesting stories:

Haikei - he woke up one day hung over and panicked over why his dick hurt so bad. he sprinted to find House, demanding she take a look at it to find out why it hurt so bad. Haikei was convinced it was a STD and poor House had to inspect Haikei's penis until she spotted the awful drawing of a dick. to this day he has no explanation as to why he did that to himself when he had barely drunk anything compared to normal (it was a whole vodka bottle).

Quincy - who got punched in the face when piercing Bubblegum's collarbones because they weren't expecting the pain to be so bad, despite Quincy reminding Bubblegum how low their pain tolerance is.

UK - sneezed when he got his nose piercings and got snot on the person he paid to pierce him. the sneeze also meant he didn't get one of his piercings in the place he wanted it.

Imagine a modern au with the kid pirates where they are a scottish biker gang 💀

this is the most intimidating but also the funniest idea ever. i would avoid them like the plague but also be trying to fuck them at every possible occasion.

biker gangs are either full of super scary people or the nicest people you'll ever meet. i feel like Kid's biker gang would be a mix, they'll threaten to beat you up for looking at them for too long but give you a ride home if it's dark and you don't feel safe. they'd defiantly be one of those biker gangs that actively protect the local gay people and beat up the local sex offenders.

all members of their little Scottish biker gang pull though, everyone wants to sleep with them or be their friend. it's considered a big deal if they show up at a party even though no one really wants them there because they tend to ruin the mood by accident and destroy people's private property.

they'd all work at the local garage as engineers that Kid owns and have a habit of giving discounts to the various people they've been sleeping with. they'd fix bikes, cars and random junk that people bring in that they've broken. the garage is always playing very loud music (they take it in turns to play their own music, if it's not their day they don't get to complain about music) that needs to be shouted over to be heard.

Haikei and Killer would run the garage on Kid's behalf because they're the only sensible ones who can be trusted with money and stick to a schedule. Kid claims he's in charge but never shows up to any of the appointments or picks up his phone to clients.

Kid also built his own motor bike and likes to customise it differently every week because he can't leave a finished project alone. but his bike is arguably the best in the area and everyone is super jealous because of it. also no one is allowed to touch the bike and he will loose it if someone who isn't his s/o or his gang touches it.

this just reminds me of my summer last year since the place i spent most of it was shared with a biker gang. they were literally so scary and would just glare at us like this: 😠. i kicked a water bottle at one of them once by mistake and had it thrown back at my head.

i have so many headcanons about them, i love them.

(for anyone confused: Haikei, Oscar and Noe are the fan made Kid Pirates who are based off of background and unnamed members of the crew. you can find fanart of them on these blogs: @magnuspirate @ceejindeed and @shipshinablog!)

Haikei:

Watches soap operas with Killer and cries

Will cheats at any card game you play with him

Do not play poker with him, he wins every time

Gets through about 10 jars of hair wax a month from spiking up his mohawk

Very careful with his money and very stingy with it, if someone borrows money from him there's a 20% interest tax (for you it's 10%)

No one has ever seen him without his glasses on, he sleeps with them on and will attack in his sleep if someone tries to remove them

The glasses stay on in the bedroom too, they fell on your head once

Is incredibly clingy, always wants to hug you or be touching you in some way

He probably walks a little like Doflamingo does in this clip from Marineford

Is addicted to red wine

His family back home consists of a super cool single mother and a young sister who he regularly sends money too

He also sends pictures of you back with letters about how great you are (his younger sister thinks you're super cool and has your bounty poster on her wall)

Is addicted to how your perfume/cologne smells and buys a bottle of it just so he can make his room smell like you when you're away

Loves sour sweets

The crew member who pushes the birthday person's head into their cake when they're blowing out their candles (the crew always make 2 because of him)

Knits everyone scarves

Has a bad habit of knitting whilst staring blankly at people, to the point where they have to move out of his eye sight because it's getting creepy

Can read and speak latin for some reason

He has 'matching' stick and poke tattoos with Noe and Wire that he did when they were incredibly drunk (the tattoos look nothing alike)

He has a feathered/fluffy coat collection that only you're allowed to touch

He loves when his clothes smell like you

Oscar:

Needs glasses but will never admit it

Emotional drunk

Gives the best hugs on the whole crew, everyone fights over who gets to hug him

Prioritises hugging you though

Very romantic, he knows what to get you as gifts and plans the best dates

He has a 'secret' scrapbook collection about the future he wants to have with you

Gets through far less hair gel than Haikei does

'Lazy' about 70% of the time during sex, he makes you do the work whilst he just lies there enjoying the view

He's still super good and attentive in bed though and knows exactly what to say/do

A big softie who's always looking out for the weaker members of the crew and protecting them from danger

Loves watching you get dressed in the morning and lies on the shared bed just watching in awe of how perfect you are

He also loves washing your hair

He can bake really well and is in charge of making deserts for meals

Has a small notebook full of everyone's favourite baked treats and their allergies

Always the one who breaks up fights with Killer and easily calms both sides down

Is addicted to hand holding

Number 1 hype man of the crew, he's always cheering everyone on no matter what they're doing

Has a small ginger cat called Rufus that he found abandoned on an island

Rufus has his own bed in your shared room but always ends up joining the cuddling sessions

He likes sketching and always asks you to be his muse

Likes vodka and fancy cocktails

Noe:

Can handle his alcohol better than anyone on the crew

Has a soft spot for children and small dogs

Reads romance and erotic books that he borrows from Killer

Secretly wants to recreate the scenes with you

Has a draw in his wardrobe just full of hats (there's one for every occasion)

Heat walked in on you guys once, it was traumatic for everyone involved

Aims to become the cliche of a suburban mum

Bought the whole matching shirts once but only Haikei, Emma and Noe wear them

He can decorate cakes really well

Oscar and Noe make the birthday cakes for the crew's birthdays

A massive freak in the bedroom, he almost rivals Wire for most freaky on the crew

He has a dead weed plant on his desk that he talks too

Has a calendar hidden in his hat drawer with the important dates to the crew and you circled so he can always remember what's coming up

Celebrates really random anniversaries with you, like 'Happy 2 month anniversary to us doing anal 🥰!'

Incredibly patient and supportive with anyone who's suffering from mental/physical illnesses

Can understand sign language

Writes you awful poems but honestly thinks they're amazing and will not take criticism about them

Makes Killer read his poems before he gives them to you and Killer is always appalled by what he reads

Loves spicy food

Lives to see chaos happen on the crew and will regularly annoy Kid because he finds it funny

The crew regularly questions how Noe managed to pull you and how you tolerate him

Can skateboard but he's not allowed to do it on the ship because he's fallen off the side of the Victoria Punk 6 times

Kid: modern au! (specifically university and band AUs) or grumpy x sunshine

Killer: soulmates that involves him meeting the reader at a bookshop/library or colleagues to lovers (with Dive playing matchmaker)

Heat: friends to lovers but everyone knows (except for them) that the feelings are mutual

Wire: enemies to lovers but there is way too much sexual tension

Haikei: brother's best friend

Oscar: exes to lovers/second chance

Noe: childhood friends/boy next door or fake dating

Dive: parent trap AU where she wants you to as a parent and tries to trick you into dating one of the kid pirates

Bubblegum: one night stand that just never left

Reck: fake dating but both start to fall in love
