GWitch is great; loved the ending. We could have used more episodes to get room for explanations and time for things to breath, but also this is giving me rich veins of material to mine for fanfic, so you know, that's fun too. :)

That all said, here's my extremely tangential idea for a crackfic continuation:

Gundam - The Witch From Pluto

(Spoilers for the show, final episode, etc etc)

What is Permet? It's a information-dense substance that powers and controls highly advanced technology, ubiquitous throughout the human sphere. It's also dangerous - those who work with it suffer pain and debilitation; too directly, too much, and it will kill. So far, so good - a nice stand for nuclear power, unrestricted and unrestrained technology, capitalist expliotation, etc etc.

What we learn in the last episode is that it's also dead people.

And Suletta? The person most in tune with Permet, pushing it to its greatest heights, the one calling out to these dead souls - and her undead clone siblings - for their help to save the ones she loves? Suletta is humanity's first necromancer. She (and the world) doesn't know how to use this power yet, but she's going to learn.

And so my fic idea:

~XX years after the events of the anime, a research station on Pluto studying the interaction of Permet particles on the heliopause. A young woman named Judith sneaks into a restricted area for an ill-fated rendezvous with her researcher girlfriend, when a tragic accident cripples the station and causes much destruction, including the death of her girlfriend... or does it? Because when Judith wakes up in a hospital rescue ship, it seems like her girlfriend is speaking to her from her personal-assistant Haro.

What's going on here? Why does she have a mysterious connection to the technology around her? Is this all her fault? And how's she supposed to get makeouts when her girlfriend is stuck in a little metal sphere?

Luckily, there's a place she can go. A school on sunny Mediterranean shores, where people like her are trying to learn the secret rules of Permet, and unlock its power over reality - before the corporations that run humanity can bring everyone to the brink of another apocalyptic war. But what mysteries hide behind Suletta's carefree exterior? Will the elegant Mionore win the boardroom fights long enough to give her wife the time they all need? How much can she trust her fellow students? And what's a girl got to do to get kissed around here anyway?

Anyway, I don't know if I'll get around to actually writing any of this -- if I do, I'll be sure to share it -- but it's a fun idea to just rotate in my head anyway, so I wanted to share. :)
