Look at this little legend. Finally, a decent pic of a Thick-billed Grasswren. I took this near Coward Springs while camping with @gemmadeavin. Apparently this area is a hybridisation zone between the two local sub-species. This devious creature is an Eyrean Grasswren, a tough bird to photograph, this was the best I did after trying to photograph a couple of pairs. They prefer the cane grass that tops the dunes in the Strezlecki and Simpson Deserts in Outback SA and NT.
