i do love how there’s literally no canon mamakechi appearance. but since goro doesnt look like shido At All we’ve all collectively been like “ok mamakechi is like goro but more sad looking” and like i think we r valid for it

#speculation nation #discacc shit #tagging bc im gonna talk about a thing #in chapter uhh. forgetting the number but where he sees shido right before disappearing #there's a section where he's sitting right in front of him for the first time. & in that close position he can See Him in a way he hasnt b4 #and he's drawing comparisons between them. painfully aware that this is his father.#i kinda had to really squint at their pics to find things that were potentially kinda similar lol #their noses r kinda similar but that's probs more bc of p5 art style. i still decided to use it #and then the way their eyebrows angle downwards is similar. which ya kno may or may not be an actual thing #that's kinda more an anime eyebrows thing BUT there are p5 characters whose eyebrows Dont look like that. so.#but their face shape is nothing alike. their eyes r different. hell even hair color is different #harder to tell bc shido doesnt fucking have Hair but his stupid lil goatee is black. so.#we can extrapolate from the lack of similarities between goro and shido that goro's traits primarily come from his mother #which makes times where we can Draw those comparisons more painful #goro looking at a picture of his mother. ultimately only a little bit older than he is now.#and feeling like the worst copy of an already sad woman.#ahhh the angst. lol
