My intuition was correct: walking the back nine at Picadome > watching the #UKvsUF 2nd half. Sunny, in the 40's is right nice, especially when the greens are rolling great. Three birdies in nine holes was a totally new experience for me, though I have been intentionally working on being more aggressive and trying to make more birdies for a while now. Thoroughbred Golf Club at High Point continues to evolve. Though a residential course, the short layout lends itself to beginners and casual golfers. Wide fairways, no bunkers, flat greens, all in great condition right now. While welcoming at first sight, the way-back tees do present some interesting sight lines and challenges for more skilled players. Tates Creek recently punched their greens, but otherwise is playing pretty nicely right now.
