And where storytelling is one you become a part of. Eloha Yonim is Greek and translates to The Goddess of the Doves, within the expression of Apdrodite. Aphrodite expressed infinite expression of love, seduction, eroticism, pleasure, and procreation. Aphrodite represented light, and pure feminine energy. The participant brings to them, their own journeys, and Eloha Yonim challenges to break beyond light and dark, absent of conditioned societal restraints. It makes sense that the first thing one must do upon entering, is agreement to respect- and along with this, to actively leave their phones behind. This is the act of leaving behind the socially constructed world in order to immerse the audience into something the experience. The performers and audience brings to the moment their own journey of love, pleasure and procreation. The spiritual energies Aphrodite possessed were so powerful, many looked up in adoration, others in fear. The 'fantasy' lies in leaving behind all that has been conditioned to believe and submit to an open mind, love and acceptance. The performance is happening amongst the audience, blurring the seperation of audience, and performer. It creates an experience that has the power to tell a story that is felt in multi sensory ways. Aphrodite abandoned what was taboo and embodied empowerment, and freedom, which is felt within the performance as you too have the freedom experience each moment differently as night unfolds around you.
