wahoo! commission for @gnirewolf. ridding a melon-y yoshi!
making of: this was the third comm I've made for Cane, this being the second one featuring Grove, so I ended up jumping straight into the render
with yoshi, I asked for potential colors it could have outside of the standard green one, cane gave plenty of ideas and some palettes and I went with one of the more melon-looking ones, as I felt it would look nice with grove's green

I have decided. I will for sure do a "pre-alpha alpha" release here and pin it to get some feedback from the community. Ill be a little vocal and annoying about it for a while probably because i really really REALLY want feedback so baaaddd
I'll wait till some more polish + i have some buddies trying out a current version i have out so I can rule out any initial bugs.
Today was definitely mostly tying up loose ends, making sure credits are correct, that sort of thing. I DID add a new feature to the The Trader scenario where your employees will have moods that will impact their performance. Works well and creates some day-to-day variance. Im thinking about maybe adding different inventories for store fronts, but im worried that will be overly complicated... we'll see
Todays progress is good though! Im getting some REALLY good feedback from @gnirewolf which I REALLY appreciate. After I implement changes from that, we should be well on our way <3

I had some questions about the prompt since I didn't know how to make it look cozy and nice, since my definition of cozy involves blankets, which would hide a lot of detail
