Okay I knew the prize tiers were bad so I brought this upon myself
On the bright side, I learned that a 20 hour painting produces a 36 minute timelapse, so I should limit paintings to 5-6 hours to fall into the ideal youtube video length. Or relearn how to edit videos, I guess.

The Twitter "rate limits"/self-DDOS disguised as rate limits occurred shortly after the contest started, and a bunch of bots hijacked the tags and posted deep-fried Love Nikki screenshots under them.
Art contests on social media are so awful.
In hindsight, what I should have done was hijacked the tags myself and posted Aeon pinups throughout the comp period. That might have scared Paper into never putting the art contests on twitter ever again.
I've been going crazy because this drawing looks different on my devices and Idk why.
I used my ipad to take a picture of my phone (mystifyingly bright pink) next to my macbook screen (mystifyingly dark blue) and compared it to a copy of the drawing in my ipad gallery (top).
The phone is in night mode so that's why it has a yellowish tint but idk it's so much brighter. And no idea what's happening on my macbook. The colour calibration is set to Apple RGB and besides, nothing else appears darker or bluer on it. Maybe there's a difference in the colour mode that I haven't figured out yet?
