"The rift's reacting again!"
"Is this going to be a regular thing?!"
Another visitor flew through the portal. It was a strange orange robot who immediately spoke.
"Show me your power. Or I shall not obey. I represent all things, and shall become Gizoid, the conqueror of all."
"It's Emerl! From Sonic Battle!"
"What did he say earlier? Show him our power!"
"We need to make a link with him! We need to demonstrate the greatest power we have! He'll be our ally after that!"
Bass looked at Megaman, who looked back at him and nodded as if understanding what he wanted to say before he said it. Bass and Megaman then fused into Bass Cross Megaman and shot out a powerful Chaos Overload attack.
The Giziod watch closely. After some time, the eye-like gem on his forehead closed, and his personality completely changed.
"Whoa! That was awesome! You guys remind me of some good friends of mine..."
Emerl suddenly stopped as he looked around frantically.
"Wait, I'm alive?! Where's Sonic?! Is he okay?! How'd I even get here?! Is that Chaos Gamma?! Who are the rest of you?!"
After Megaman and Bass split apart again, Megaman stepped forward to explained everything, with the help of Nana, who knew more about Emerl's backstory. They explained that the dimensional rift has been taking people from their dimension to this one, and must have taken Emerl from the end of his battle with Sonic before he got destroyed.
"Okay, so this rift has been giving a lot of people second chances, and I'm one of the folks who won the grand prize? Sweet!"
"Welp, Megaman and Bass made a link with me, so I'll be your ally to the very end!"
(Emerl has joined the party!)
