A man in sunglasses is seen standing under an umbrella in pouring rain, looking straight on into the street like he’s waiting for bus: how many did he get today.
Standing parallel to him also looking into the street is a man in postman uniform, whispering slightly louder to speak over the rain: 4 in total. 3 bills and a postcard.
Man in sunglasses stiffens: Postcard. Not from ‘Dora’, I hope.
Man in postman uniform: No. Otherwise I’d have destroyed it like you told me to. It’s just someone called Dave from Mesque.
Man in sunglasses: I still don’t like this. No Dave has written to him since me. Anything else?
Man in postman uniform: His Monday posts were still there, unopened.
Man in sunglasses, brows furrowed: So he hasn’t been home since Monday. I’ll need to ask around.
Man in postman uniform: As usual, don’t mention my name.
Man in sunglasses: Of course. I’ll say Judit checked for me. No one will be suspicious.
Man in postman uniform, nodding: Good. And my payment?
Man in sunglasses: Will be delivered in full.

MUSIC MONDAY - 10 Super Sonic Remixes You WON'T Find on OCRemix
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog. Yeah, it's been around THAT long. Where did the time go? Did I run too fast past a FUTURE sign? Either way, one of my favorite aspects of this franchise is the music. It's one of the few things that has been consistently good in this franchise, barring a couple exceptions. I'm far from the only one who loves Sonic music though. OCRemix.org is full of fan-made arrangements of Sonic music, and I've downloaded plenty of them. I have a pretty massive collection of Sonic remixes on my computer and smartphone. OCRemix hasn't been my only source for these arrangements though. I've done some digging around sites like Newgrounds and YouTube in search of even MORE Sonic remixes, and I found some that are way past cool!
ZINEB - THE FLYING BATTERY
Let's start with this chilled-out soft rock-ish arrangement of Flying Battery Zone from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It kinda gives me James Bond vibes, and I don't even watch James Bond.
SHADOXVIRUS - CHEMICAL RUSH
if that Flying Battery remix was too slow, this Chemical Plant remix should be more your speed. It's not called "Chemical Rush" for nothing! It always makes me think of the sense of speed I get in Chemical Plant...at least until I hit the rising Purple Water of Doom segment of Act 2. I don't wanna know the chemical composition of the stuff. Neither does Sonic. We just wanna get out before that drowning music kicks in.
PAUL STETICH - SKY CANYON ZONE
The Advance Trilogy is rarely covered by the remixing community. This is a hidden gem not only for its quality, but for its choice of source material.
SONICMARIO - SONIC & KNUCKLES DON'T STOP
This one just makes me happy. I don't think I've ever heard ATB's Don't Stop, but I've heard the S&K theme plenty of times. This arrangement chooses to go with the expanded version of the song heard on one of those Japanese arrangement albums Sega licensed in the 90s.

TREY COWHERD - PANIC PUPPET 2009 MIX
Sonic 3D Blast is a great example of a not-so-stellar game with a great soundtrack, or rather, 2 great soundtracks. This industrialized techno arrangement covers the Saturn version of Panic Puppet Zone, which could've just as easily been a club banger in its original form.
youtube
DJ MAX-E - POPPIN' METRO-FACTORY
This'll make you wanna dance like it's the 1980s. I wouldn't try it in Metropolis Zone itself though. The sound from your ghetto blaster is likely to set off the Asterons. *gets hit by Asteron spikes* GAH! BE GLAD I CAN'T KILL YOU, STUPID ROBO-STARFISH JERK!
youtube
REXY - SONOROUS DISCHARGE
Advance Trilogy remixes might be pretty rare, but they've got nothing on Sonic Chaos remixes. This is one of only TWO really high-quality remixes I found from that game. I remember when I first heard it on Sonic Radio. I immediately had to see what it was called so I could find and download the mp3.
youtube
BLUE WISP & APTIVA - STRANGE SIGHS OF RELIEF
This has become my favorite fan-remix of Marble Garden Zone, a title that originally went to Rayza's SonikElektronik. Like Sonorous Discharge, this is on one of Sonic Stadium's Music Adventure collaborations.
youtube
NOTBLOCK - ANGEL ISLAND ZONE REMIX
I stumbled across this while trying to find a fanmade Game Boy arrangement of Angel Island Zone, as it was one of the themes bootlegger Yong Yong absolutely butchered in one of their Game Boy Sonic bootlegs. They probably didn't care about faithfully recreating the song...or their music people were tone-deaf. After you inevitably YouTube search footage of those games, you'll wanna play this to cleanse your palate.
youtube
KINGTIGER - AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF WHAT EGGMAN TECHNOLOGY CAN DO FOR YOU
Yeah, that title's a mouthful, but it's a great arrangement of Sonic 3 & Knuckles' Death Egg Zone theme that even seems to work in a little Crystal Egg from the 8-bit version of Sonic 2.
