Also, I want to apologise if the rhythm of uploads get slower, IRL business is starting to catch me up so I need to focus on that in priority. Okay so THIS, THESEEE are alternate Palkia/Dialga origin formes.

The official ones are just like??? They're something alright. But my least favourite thing about them is how far they stray from what was already established in Giratina's origin form. They're massive, hyperdetailed horse things that look more like Arceus fusion formes than anything. So, I want you to picture a world were Dialga and Palkia's origin formes were released alongside Giratina's back in 2009.

Giratina's origin form is serpentine, possibly snakelike, but ultimately a strange, mysterious creature as opposed to a typical animal. Origin Palkia and Dialga continue this trend, being based on an oyster and a snail respectively.

Most people are confused by Palkia's typing upon seeing its altered forme, but its origin forme makes things clearer. It better resembles an oyster, with its wings and torso extended into a clam shape and a pearl in its center, signifying the center of the universe. Being an oyster is a metaphor for spatiality, as it wraps itself around all that is known. Its fins and neck broaden to resemble the wings of a rocket ship, which is also a nod to the spatial element of this pokemon.

On the other hand, Dialga has elements of the scaly-foot snail (a snail which develops defensive scales over its skin like metal armor). Being a snail is a metaphor for time slowing down and everlasting wisdom. Its back legs are replaced by said scales, albeit more elegant and cape-like. Details on its chest, sail and head resemble a snail shell, with a large diamond placed on each side of its head signifying its intelligence. Its sail, head, top horns and bib make a total of twelve points to match the twelve points of a clock, while its two large front legs point at the edges and resemble the hands of a clock.

Both formes fit right in with Origin Giratina and the three live happily ever after.

Custom sprites I decided to make for my interpretations of Arceus and Giratina's forms. (Left is Altered, right is Origin)

With Arceus I took some inspiration from Beta Arceus. And with Giratina I went for the centipede/spider approach with some more ghoulish features, as well as making him shiny.

Ares!! His outfit is one of my favourites, not because its particularly fancy or even particularly well done, but because it was one of the first proper outfits I gave one of my characters that wasn't like... a hoodie or a shirt. I used to just straight up not design proper outfits for my characters and I'm still dealing with that. Thanks, 12 year old me (jokes, he couldn't have designed a good outfit if he wanted to).

Carney's. I can't say its the most original or well researched because it isn't but I just enjoy it. I love a long coat and i love a silly hat and I like my pallet for it and the contrasting red. I did a pretty decent job if I do say so myself.

Lavender!!!!!!!!!! Her dress is nothing special, but its gone through a bunch of designs that ranged from bad to over complicated to just having bad colours and I'm happy to have a design I actually like. The original was white with music notes on it and I fucking ANIMATED that. Why did I do that to myself. She never even had any musical connotations.

I mean. Yeah. His outfit (and several of his alts, you've seen em) is one of my favourites. Its just a fit I would wear and I like the colour scheme, it fits his whole deal and my own personal tastes lol.

I also enjoy Dr. Summers' outfit when he's doing pestilence shit but I'm not gonna put an image because a) its literally just a uniform and i didnt strictly design it and b) the copious amounts of gore in his design dslkjdskjl. You've seen it you know what I mean!

I wanted to draw Archie with fins so the only reasonable solution was to redesign all the rr leaders (and Volo for Dio) I know a lot of people have made designs for them but i wanted to so...

Read more for info about them all:

Giovanni: Obviously the Leader Leader of Rainbow Rocket. He succeeded in taking over Sylph Co. and ruining everything with Team Rocket, so now he's just kinda rich and annoying. Nothing really crazy with him other than that... he's got a lot of money, he's got a lot of power and he's mean enough to flaunt it. He's trying to use the wormholes in Alola to further his own reach.

Maxie: Used Groudon to try to expand the land and in the process killed basically everything... there are a few people and pokemon just barely surviving around I'm sure but for the most part everything is pretty desolate. Plus holding the Red Orb for long enough fucked him over and now he's just kinda partly fused with Groudon. On the bright side he deals with the heat really well and doesn't get dehydrated so he's perfect for the fucked up world he made. He likes that it's warm in Alola but he's not a huge fan of the water...

Archie: Like Maxie, he used Kyogre to expand the Oceans and also killed basically everything, except water Pokemon. The Blue Orb fused him with Kyogre and now he has gills and can breath under water, but in the opposite way of Maxie he gets dehydrated quick and needs a lot of water. Sometimes he just up and leaves from the rr mansion so he can go swimming, since he's more comfortable in the water. Everyone else just waits for him to show back up instead of trying to find him.

Cyrus: Used the Red Chain to force Dialga and Palkia to help him create a new world, as well as Giratina. Protip: Don't force God's kids to do stuff, you will start bleeding from your eyes. The wings are because I like them, there's six of them and each set is based on a legendary of the Creation Trio. He's still the same person. He doesn't talk to the others much and spends a lot of time in his own room doing his own things.

Ghetsis: He succeeded in getting everyone to release their pokemon, leaving him with almost complete control over Unova and further. He's a lot like Giovanni, where he's just kind of a pretentious ass and he likes to rub his power in everyone's face. He got rid of his one arm because I don't think he'd keep an arm that barely works around for much longer if he could help it. He also has a sort of Reshiram/Zekrom motif throughout his outfit since he has acquired both of them. He bothers Giovanni a lot, since he's determined to use him to further his own plans...

Lysandre: Used the Ultimate Weapon and Yveltal to kill everyone... However killing everyone on the planet takes a lot of energy to accomplish and royally fucked him up. Like AZ he got a whole lot taller but it also burnt most of his body, blinded him and kinda ruined a big chunk of his critical thinking. He's a borderline scp creature that's fueled by blood lust. He's useful for keeping anyone from bothering RR but the Leaders try to keep their distance from him for the sake of themselves. He does go through moments of clarity where he's mostly himself but sometimes he also just tries to kill anything that's near him.

Volo: He isn't an RR member obviously but I made him a design for Dio! I just wanted to give him a new outfit. I highly doubt he's super happy with the new world he's created seeing as it doesn't really change much even if he is basically God now. He's still kinda miserable and lonely. I'm sure he regrets it but it's not like he can go back on it and even if he could he's got a facade to keep up.

Lusamine isn't here mostly because I already really like her Mother Beast design so maybe I'll just draw it at some point...

I decided to try redesigning my Incineroar OC Scarlett!

I actually had intended to draw her gf Alice the Decidueye tonight but..when looking up the refs I realized that while Alice's design influence from Zygarde was clear, as was their other partner Sage the Primarina's Kyurem-y design, I completely failed to show the Giratina-ness Scarlett was supposed to have..she really just looked like a normal Incineroar. I had leaned too heavily on the fact both Pokemon had black and red stripes dgsfgf

so I decided to fix that and make her Giratina styling much more clear!! I'm not sure I'm happy with her design yet tbh but I think it's along the right tracks..maybe taking the yellow rings off the arms/legs/tail would be good? I debated giving her floating ghost wings too and that idea is still on the table I think... I probably should have used orange for her eye-whites too. (eye oranges?)

Sluttified Volo gift art. First one with Emmet is a lingerie redesign of Weilder Volo from @nerdyghostclub. Second and third are from @diviously on Twitter where they posted it under a layer of protection. You probably need a Twitter account to see it. My version is faithful to the original design, except where I failed to make him as thicc, and I also borrowed the heels from the first artist. Last drawing that's supposed to be Volo being assaulted by Giratina tentacles is an almost direct copy of an unfinished sketch from this Twitter artist's poipiku account. I can't find it, so they may have deleted in the many, many months since I started drawing Volo Cheesecake.

Side note: Volo looks indignant in the first drawing because Emmet is being an asshole. He's saying something like, "I am Emmet. *picks up train schedule* My steam train is set to run through your railway every fifteen minutes for the next eight hours. My brother here will be the railway inspector who will make sure I'm running on time at full speed. -Not that there's a question. -Because you are an insatiable whore. -And I am a Subway Boss. I am Emmet."

Silly little role swap au for Legends Arceus that has been living in my head rent free.

Volo and Cogita take Rei and Akari's role in this AU.

More specifically, Volo is the main protagonist while Cogita is the one that helps him when he first falls to Hisui.

To make things easier, the present is the same as in the main games; Cynthia is still Champion, Cyrus is still the leader of team galactic, ect...

Also they are both 15.

In this AU Volo is Cynthia's Nephew or something. Also when he falls his Togepi comes with him, I will never separate them.

Adaman and Irida are obviously Leaders of different clans.

Irida is more stern and experienced as a leader while Adaman is still getting the hang of such a responsibility of being a clan leader.

Adaman's hair is naturally brunette so Perin will either have brown hair or she just dyed it blue.

Rei takes the role of the totally normal merchant lmao.

His hair is longer since I thought it looked nicer and he is an adult in this AU (he's like 25).

The scar on his face was caused by a wild Hisuian Sneasle when he was young and is slightly afraid of them.

Also yes I gave him a Giratina inspired scarf because it looked cool.

Akari takes Cogita's role (and I redesigned Enamorus because she was kinda ugly)

No one knows how old she is and she finds it funny when people try to guess her age.

Finally Emmet takes Ingo's role of being thrown into Hisui for no reason.

While I did draw him with a Porygon 2 I think he could have an Electivire as his ace (He can still have Porygon 2, just not as his ace)

Also he is Electrodes warden (all the wardens swap clans and nobles to look after)

Melli still tries to stop Volo from quelling its frenzy because he fears that doing so would anger almighty sinnoh. That and because he's a petty little prick.

I have so many ideas for this AU so I hope I can draw more for it. And update designs too lol.

I watched Giratina and the Sky Warrior with friends lately, and even though I was a tad disappointed with the movie honestly (Which bums me out honestly since Shaymin's my fav mythical so I wanted to really like the movie ;w;), it still got me in the mood to redesign my old Shaymin OC, and I renamed her to Charlie as well! :]

She's a Shaymin with a cool and laidback demeanor, and she's really adventurous and spunky too, especially in Sky Forme! I still have lots to rewrite and develop for her (Like a lot of my OCs LOL), but I'll get there one day!

Yeehaw sure thing lets go pokemer time!

All Hisui Mers (and pokemers in general) are based on aquatic pokemon instead of normal marine animals like in Mermbugs. Also note - the Pokemers are proportionally smaller than the Hollow Knight Mermbugs (Gaeric, one of larger mers for example, is roughly a similar size to MerXero. Adaman is still fairly big but most of that is his tail.)

Here’s designs of our favourite bickering legendaries - redesigned a lil to be more of an underwater vibe. These Leviathans live deep deep underwater - not even Deep Sea Mers have ever sighted these glowing giants. They almost swim silently through the ocean, despite their size, yet recently they seem…on edge

And two character specific ones! Palina has a very… complicated relationship with water - her home. Being the Warden of land mammals was all fine, until Lord Arcanine’s incident. Since then she’s both extremely protective of young of all kinds (she bickers with Gaerics treatment of Dawn and Odessa all the time) and timid of the water, spending a lot of time in air as possible before her lungs and skin threaten to crash and she has to go back in.

Volo…. has a thing going on. Not entirely sure, but I think I’m making it so that his ancestors in some capacity were forced to the land by Arceus (whether its from trying to protect them or banishing them for crimes idk. Both seem interesting paths to me) and Volo feels robbed of this heritage and conspires with Giratina to get at Arceus and take his ‘true form’. Man once again manipulating (and attempting murder) on a bunch of teens again.

And lastly, to answer how all their fam back home is feeling uh-

Can we get an F for MerXero who had been ill from infection, your own husband kidnapped and then returned, your son going and rescuing the local gods and only just recovered from being infected - only to have your husband go missing AGAIN-

please give them their families back. This is a cry for help-

I wanted to draw myself as a gym leader, so…

I might redesign the badge later….

So anyway, the more I think about it, the more that I’d like to be a fairy-type gym leader as a lot of my favorites are fairy type.

I picked Primarina because I love her wanted to choose a starter. There was even a moment in my childhood where I had an obsession with mermaids. So yeah, this makes sense.

Sylveon for obvious reasons. I’m an Eevee fan, and Sylveon’s a fairy-type eeveelution.

I’m also picking Alolan Ninetales because I always loved Alolan Vulpix since it was revealed back in 2016. That, and in Pokémon Legends Arceus, my Alolan Ninetails was an absolute BEAST against Volo and Giratina!

Galarian Rapidash ‘cuz I wanted a Psychic-type and I really liked the idea of riding a unicorn-like Pokémon.

Dachsbun, because I love my little pupper in Pokémon Violet, and I liked the idea of having an adorable dog Pokémon with me.

And finally… Altaria! I know Altaria isn’t a fairy-type in its base form, but I wanted a bird Pokémon as well as a mega, and sense Altaria becomes a Dragon/Fairy-type, it all works out!

As for what kind of gym I would run, it would be a book café with the challenges being story-book themed where you role-play as the main protagonist and the difficulty of the battles are dependent on the choices you make in the story.

A tentative redesign of a classic OC of mine - Som Velddra, half-Drow warlock of Gistal (AKA Totally Not Giratina the Pokemon) the Distortion Wyrm. Dad was a human, mom's a dark elf. To this day I can still do her voice perfectly, having played her in D&D for like five years straight. How I love her.
